Use of the appliance
Attachments
■ Sapphire con€10:
For removing dry skin, hardened skin or calluses on the soles and heels.
◆ Guide the sapphire cone ^10 over the parts of the sole and heel to be treated using a circular motion while exerting gentle pressure. Do not press too firmly, and always guide the appliance carefully to the surface to be treated. Apply a moisturising cream after every treatment.
Felt cone11:
For smoothing and polishing nail edges after fi ling, and for cleaning the nail surface.
Use the felt cone 11 to polish and smooth the edge of the nail and to clean the nail surface after grinding. Always polish in a circular motion and never let the felt cone 11 stay in one place.
■ Sapphire disc12/13:
For fi ling and working the nails.
Work the edge of the nail using the sapphire disc 12/13. Since only the inner disc rotates and the outer edge does not move, you can file your nails accurately without damaging your skin with the rapidly rotating disc.
◆ Always work from the outside of the nail to the tip.
Flame mille14:
You can use the flame miller14 to free ingrown nails.
◆ Guide the flame mille14 carefully onto the treatment area and cut away the affected nail part.
Cylindrical miller 15:
For grinding off thick toenail surfaces and rough smoothing of the surfaces.
You can use the cylindrical miller 15 to mill away thickly growing nail surfaces.
◆ Always hold the cylinder miller ^15 parallel to the nail surface and apply light pressure and circular movements to remove the excess growth.
■ Hardened skin remove16:
For large-scale and rapid removal of thick hardened skin or calluses on the sole or heel of your foot.
◆ Guide the hardened skin remover16 over the parts of the sole and heel to be treated while exerting gentle pressure.
Working with the appliance
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!
Excessively long or intensive treatment can also injure deeper layers of skin.
Therefore, check the treatment progress and results regularly. Diabetics in particular are less sensitive on their hands and feet.
NOTE
The attachments do not have as much effect on softened skin. Therefore, do not carry out any pretreatment in a water bath before using the appliance.
1) Find a well-lit place to work. There must be a mains power outlet in close proximity.
2) Insert the appropriate attachment for your purpose in the attachment fi tting 1. The attachment must sit securely.
3) Attach the connector plug ⑨ of the mains adapter ⑧ to the connector socket ⑥ of the hand element ⑦.
4) Plug the mains adapter ⑧ into a mains power outlet.
5) Always start the treatment at slow speed and only increase it when necessary. Press the ▲ button ② to increase the speed. If you want to reduce the speed, press the √ button ③.
6) Slide the on/off /direction switch 5 in the desired direction. The selected direction of rotation is shown by the coloured LED direction indicator 4 as follows:
- Green LED = anti-clockwise
- Red LED = clockwise
7) The appliance operates at the slowest speed.
NOTE
▶ Always select the direction of rotation for treating the nails in their direction of growth. If possible, treat the nails from the outside towards the inside (to the nail tip). Otherwise, the nails will split more easily.
▶ If you feel that the nails could crack during treatment, select the other direction.
8) You can now start working.

WARNING - RISK OF BURNS!
Risk due to severe heat development!
▶ While you are working, never let the attachments remain in one location. Friction leads to increased heat generation and may cause injuries.
▶ Always work with a circular motion.
9) Move the on/off /direction switch 5 to "0" and disconnect the power adapter 8 from the mains power socket when you have finished the treatment.
NOTE
If you have treated hardened skin, apply a moisturising cream to the treated areas after completing the procedure.

For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning the attachments with a clean cloth or brush moistened with alcohol after every use. Dry everything thoroughly.
