- Read all the instructions carefully before using your appliance and keep them for future reference.

- Never let children operate this appliance. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used near children.

Do not place your hand in the blender jug. The sharp blades may cause injury.

- If the blender becomes clogged, switch off and unplug the mains cable from the mains socket before cleaning the obstruction. Check carefully for damage.
- Do not use the appliance for any purpose not specified in this manual.
- The blender jug should only be used with the base unit provided.
- Ensure the base unit is switched off before removing the blender jug from the base.

Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

Product Overview


First Time Use
- Before using your blender for the first time, wash the blender bottle, blade assembly and lid. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

Handle blades with care especially during cleaning as they are extremely sharp.
- Place the base unit on a stable surface, free from heat and moisture and within easy reach of a mains socket. The mains cable should not be taut.

Preparing and Filling the Ingredients
- Cut the ingredients into 25mm (1") cubes before placing them into the blender bottle. If the food is very solid or dry, cut the pieces into smaller cubes.
- Fill the blender bottle with the ingredients.
- Do not overfill the blender bottle. The maximum capacity is 300 ml. If you are preparing a large quantity use several smaller batches.
- If the ingredients are very dry, put some liquid into the blender bottle. You should never try to reduce dry ingredients in the blender.

Fitting the Blender Bottle to the Base Unit
- Screw the blade assembly to the open end of the blender bottle.
- Turn the bottle upside down. Align the arrow to unlock position and turn the bottle clockwise to lock. To unlock, turn the bottle anti-clockwise. If the bottle is not properly fitted to the base of the blender will not start.

Operation
-
Make sure the bottle and the blade assembly are secure and in the lock position.
-
Plug your blender into the mains socket and switch on the power.
-
Press and hold the Pulse button, the blender will start blending. The blender will continue to blend as long as the Pulse button is pressed.
-
To stop the operation, release the Pulse button.

- Do not run the blender continuously for more than 1 minute. After a full 1 minute cycle allow the blender to rest for another 3 minutes before using it again.
- Never blend very hot liquids in the blender. This is dangerous as the contents may erupt.
• If you spill liquid on the base immediately switch off and wipe dry. - If the motor stalls turn off the blender immediately, unplug the blender and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

After Use
After you have finished blending:
- Unplug the blender from the mains socket.
- Turn the bottle and blade assembly anti-clockwise to unlock and remove it from the base of the blender.
- Unscrew the blade assembly, spoon out the contents carefully or replace with the spill-proof lid.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Ensure the blender is switched off and unplugged from the mains socket.
Cleaning the bottle and the blade assembly:
- Immediately after use, always clean the parts that have come into contact with food, using warm soapy water and washing-up liquid.
- Wash all attachments by hand, then dry thoroughly.
- Make sure that the cutting edges of the blades do not come into contact with hard objects. This could cause them to become blunt.

- The unit is protected so as not to operate if the bottle is not attached to the base. Never leave the blade assembled on the base when not in use, always store the blades in a separate location.
- Handle blades with care especially during cleaning as they are extremely sharp.
Cleaning the base:
• Never let the motor unit, mains cable or plug get wet.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth, then dry. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
