Frequently Asked Questions - PowerBot SR10J5035UC SAMSUNG

How do I start cleaning with the Samsung PowerBot SR10J5035UC?
First, ensure the power switch on the bottom of the robot is turned on. Then press the Start/Stop button on the robot or use the remote control to select a cleaning mode (Auto, Spot, Max, etc.). The robot will begin cleaning automatically.
What should I do if the robot vacuum cleaner stops during cleaning?
If 'Lo' appears on the display, the battery is low. Carry the robot to the charger to charge it. If it is stuck by obstacles (e.g., cords, thresholds), remove the obstruction. For more serious issues, turn off the power switch and move the robot to an open area, then restart.
How long does it take to fully charge the battery?
The first full charge takes approximately 120 minutes. After that, typical charging time may vary but is around 120 minutes. The robot can be used for about 90 minutes on a full charge on hard floors.
Can the robot vacuum cleaner work on carpets?
Yes, but the robot may not pass over carpets thicker than 1 cm. Using it on very thick carpets could damage both the robot and the carpet. For best results, use on low-pile carpets or hard floors.
How do I clean the dustbin and filter?
Turn off the robot and remove the dustbin. Open the cover, take out the filter, and empty the dustbin. Wash the dustbin and filter with water, then let them dry completely before reassembling. Do not use benzene, thinner, or alcohol.
What does the 'Point Cleaning' function do?
Point Cleaning (available with A-type remote) allows you to direct the robot to a specific spot by pressing and holding the Point Cleaning button. A red light appears on the floor, and the robot follows it to clean that area intensively.
How do I set a cleaning schedule?
Use the remote control to set the time first (Clock button). Then press the Schedule button to set a one-time or daily schedule. Select hour and minute, and confirm with OK. The robot must be docked on the charger when setting the schedule.
What should I do if the robot cannot find the charger?
Check that the charger is plugged in and the power is on. Remove any obstacles within 0.5 m on both sides and 1 m in front of the charger. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and charger with a dry cloth. If the Virtual Guard is nearby, move it away.
How do I clean the power brush?
Turn off the robot and remove the dustbin. Unlock and remove the power brush cover, then take out the power brush. Use a cleaning tool or your hands to remove hair and debris. Reassemble by inserting the brush and locking the cover back in place.
What do the error codes mean (e.g., C00, C01)?
Error codes begin with 'C' followed by two numbers. C00: robot is stuck; move it to another area. C01: foreign matter in power brush; clean it. C02/C03: debris in left/right driving wheel. C05: bumper sensor issue; restart robot. C06/C07: dirty sensors; clean with soft cloth. C09: side brush obstruction; clean it. Turn off the power switch to clear the code.
