Frequently Asked Questions - 28/12/2025
Response Notice-Facile

On your MAGIMIX 11294 M190 CITIZ coffee machine, you can program the water volumes for two types of preparation: Espresso (factory setting: 40 ml) and Lungo (factory setting: 110 ml). Each button can be customized independently according to your preferences.

To program the water volume:

  • Turn on the machine and wait until it is in ready mode (the light stays continuously on).
  • Fill the water tank with drinking water and insert a Nespresso capsule into the lever.
  • Completely close the lever and place an empty cup under the coffee outlet.
  • Press and hold down the Espresso or Lungo button (depending on the volume you wish to program).
  • The water will start to flow. Release the button as soon as you have reached the desired water volume in your cup.
  • The machine will automatically remember this volume for all future uses of this button.

To use your preparation after programming:

  • Simply press the Espresso or Lungo button (depending on your choice). The extraction will automatically stop at the volume you programmed.
  • To manually stop the coffee before the extraction is complete, press the same button again.

Important: during preheating (flashing light), you can already press the coffee buttons. The machine will start the preparation as soon as it is ready. Always make sure to close the lever properly before preparing your coffee to avoid any risk of burns.
