What does the P2 error code mean?

P2 indicates the bucket is full or not in the correct position. Empty the bucket and replace it securely. The unit will resume operation once the bucket is properly seated.

How do I clean the air filter?

Remove the filter by gripping the tab and pulling upward. Clean with warm soapy water, rinse, and let dry completely before reinserting. Do not use a dishwasher. Clean every 30 days.

Can I use an extension cord with this dehumidifier?

It is recommended not to use extension cords. If necessary, use only an approved dehumidifier extension cord (available at hardware stores). Avoid using adapter plugs.

What is the auto defrost feature?

When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor cycles off while the fan continues to run until the frost disappears. This is normal and the unit will resume operation automatically.

How do I set the desired humidity level?

Press the "+" or "-" pads on the control panel to adjust humidity between 35% and 80% RH in 5% increments. The display shows the set level temporarily before returning to actual room humidity.

What should I do if the display shows E1?

E1 indicates a humidity sensor error. Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If the error persists, contact service. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit.

Why doesn't the unit start?

Check that the plug is fully inserted, the circuit breaker hasn't tripped, the bucket is properly seated, and the set humidity hasn't been reached. Also ensure the unit is not in defrost mode (P1).

How do I use continuous drainage?

Cut off the plastic cover at the drain hose outlet. Attach a water hose (inner diameter 11.2 mm) to the outlet and lead it to a floor drain. Ensure the hose slopes downward and there are no kinks. Remove the hose when not in use.

How often should I clean the water bucket?

Clean the bucket every few weeks to prevent mold and mildew. Use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Do not clean in a dishwasher. Ensure the bucket is dry and securely seated before use.

Can the dehumidifier be used outdoors?

No, this dehumidifier is intended for indoor residential use only. Do not use outdoors or in commercial/industrial applications. It must be used in an enclosed area for effective operation.

2. Safety warnings

In order to use the product more conveniently and avoid any danger caused by wrong operation, please pay attention to the notices.

• Under no circumstances must the appliance be placed immersed in water or other liquid, or come into contact with such. Do not use the appliance with wet or moist hands. Should the appliance become moist or wet, remove the mains plug from the power supply immediately.
• Before connecting of the appliance check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. The electricity meter and the indoor wiring should afford the using power of the appliance, and the user should consider the load when using other appliance in the same time.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors. Use the appliance only for the intended purpose.
• Always remove the plug from the power supply whenever the appliance is not in use, before cleaning the appliance or whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the appliance beforehand. Pull on the plug, not on the cord.
• In order to protect children from the dangers of electrical appliance shock, never leave them unsupervised with the appliance. When selecting the location for your appliance, do so in such a way that children do not have access to the appliance. Take care to ensure the cord does not hang down.
• Keep the appliance and the cord away from heat and moisture.
• Never leave the appliance unsupervised. Switch off the appliance whenever you are not using it, even if this is only for a moment.
• If the function of the unit is in trouble, please send the product to maintenance centre or after-sale service. Please don't disassemble the unit and change the spare parts by yourself.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not drink or use the water drained from the unit it contains contaminants and could make you sick.

Electrical Information

• The manufactures nameplate is located on the rear panel of the unit and contains electrical and other technical data specific to this unit.
• Be sure the unit is properly grounded. To minimize shock and ire hazards, proper grounding is important. The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards.

Do never, under any circumstances cut, remove or bypass the grounding of the unit!

- Your unit must be used in a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the wall receptacle you intend to use is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit

breaker, have a qualified electrician install the proper receptacle. Ensure the receptacle is accessible after the unit installation.

• Do not use extension cords or an adapter plugs with this unit. However, if it is necessary to use an extension cord, use an approved dehumidier extension cord only (available at most local hardware stores).
• To avoid the possibility of personal injury, always disconnect the power supply to the unit, before installing and/or servicing.

3. Components

Other features

Bucket Full Light

Glows when the bucket is ready to be emptied, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced in the proper position.

Auto Shut Off

The water level control switch shuts off the dehumidiier when the bucket is full, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced in the proper position. When the setting humidity is reached, the unit will be shut off automatically.

Auto Defrost

When frost builds up on the evaporator coils, the compressor will cycle off and the fan will continue to run until the frost disappears.

Auto-Restart(on some models)

If the unit breaks off unexpectedly due to the power cut, it will restart with the previous function setting automatically when the power resumes.

Wait 3 minutes before resuming operation. After the unit has stopped, it cannot be restarted operation in the first 3 minutes. This is to protect the unit. Operation will automatically start after 3 minutes

Display

Shows the set % humidity level while setting, then shows the actual ( ± 5% accuracy) room % humidity level.

Error Codes:

E1 Humidity sensor error--Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.
E2 Temperature sensor error-- Unplug the unit and plug it back in. If error repeats, call for service.

Protection Codes:

P1 Unit is defrosting-- Allow the unit time to automatically defrost. The error will clear after the unit self-defrosts.
P2 Bucket is full or bucket is not in the right position-- Empty the bucket and replace in the right position.

NOTE: When more than one errors occur, the priority of the code display order is: P2--E2--E1--P1.

The control panel of the dehumidiier you purchased may be look like one of the following:

Indicator lights (MODEL A and MODEL B)

1. Power on indicator (green)

This indicator light remains on(green) when the unit is switched on and turns dark when the unit is switched off.

2. Water full indicator (red)

Glows when the bucket is ready to be emptied, or when the bucket is removed or not replaced in the proper position.

3. Continuous operation on indicator (green)-

(only for MODEL B)

This indicator light illuminates when the continuous operation is on

Controls (MODEL A)

4. Power

Press to turn the unit on and off. When press this pad, the dehumidiier will operate continuously for maximum dehumidiication until the bucket is full

Controls (MODEL B)

5 POWER Pad

Press to turn the dehumidiier on and off. It illuminates (green) when the unit is switched on and turns dark when the unit is switched off.

When Humidity/Temperature sensor malfunction occurs, it blinks at 5 times per seconds.

6. Continuous operation

Select for the dehumidiier to operate continuously for maximum dehumidiication until the bucket is full.

The humidity set control pads cannot be used when Continuous operation is on. Press this pad again to cancel Continuous operation

7. Humidity Set Control Pads

The humidity level can be set within a range of 35%RH(Relative Humidity) to 80%RH(Relative Humidity) in 5% increments.

For drier air, press the “-”pad and set to a lower percent value(%).

For damper air, press the "+"pad and set a higher percent value(%).

8. Display

Shows the actual humidity level, at setting it shows desired level.

4. Installaon and operaon

Positioning of the unit

A dehumidiier operating in a basement will have little or no effect in drying an adjacent enclosed storage area, such as a closet, unless there is adequate circulation of air in and out of the area.

• Place the unit on a level and sturdy section of the loor.
• Do not use outdoors. This dehumidiier is intended for indoor residential applications only. This dehumidiier should not be used for commercial or industrial applications.
• Place the dehumidiier on a smooth, level loor strong enough to support the unit with a full bucket of water.
• Allow at least 20cm of air space on all sides of the unit for good air circulation.
• Place the unit in an area where the temperature will not fall below 5 C (41 F). The coils can become covered with frost at temperatures below 5 C (41 F), which may reduce performance.
• Place the unit away from the clothes dryer, heater or radiator.
• Use the unit to prevent moisture damage anywhere books or valuables are stored.
• Use the dehumidiier in a basement to help prevent moisture damage.
• The dehumidiier must be operated in an enclosed area to be most effective.
• Close all doors, windows and other outside openings to the room

Casters

• Install at four points on the bottom of the unit
- Casters can only move laterally.
- Do not force casters to move over carpet, nor move the unit with water in the bucket. (The unit may tip over and spill water.)

NOTE: Casters is optional, some models without.

When using the unit

• When irst using the dehumidifier, operate the unit continuously 24 hours.
• This unit is designed to operate with a working environment between 50C(410F) and 350C (950F).
• If the unit has been switched off and needs to be switched on again quickly, allow approximately three minutes for the correct operation to resume.
• Do not connect the dehumidiier to a multiple socket outlet, which is also being used for other electrical appliances.
• Select a suitable location, making sure you have easy access to an electrical outlet.
• Plug the unit into an electrical socket-outlet with earth connection.
• Make sure the Water bucket is correctly itted otherwise the unit will not operate properly.

Removing the collected water

There are two ways to remove collected water.

1. Use the bucket

• When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically stop running and display P2, the Full indicator light will lash.
• Slowly pull out the bucket. Grip the left and right handles securely and carefully pull out straight so water does not spill. Do not put the tank on the loor because the bottom of the bucket is uneven. Otherwise the bucket will fall down and cause the water to spill (see Fig.5 & 6).
• Throw away the water and replace the bucket. The bucket must be in place and securely seated for the dehumidiier to operate.
• The machine will re-start when the bucket is restored in its correct position.

NOTES:

• When you remove the bucket, do not touch any parts inside of the unit. Doing so may damage the product.
• Be sure to push the bucket gently all the way into the unit. Banging the bucket against anything or failing to push it in securely may cause the unit not to operate

2. Continuous draining

Water can be automatically emptied into a loor drain by attaching the unit with a water hose (not included).

- Cut off the plastic cover located at drain hose outlet by a scissor. Attach a water hose (ID=11.2mm) to the drain hose outlet of the unit and lead it to the loor drain or a suitable drainage facility (see Fig.7). The drainage facility should be lower than the drain outlet of the unit.

- Make sure the connection of the water hose and the drain hose outlet is tight and do not let the water leak.

- Be sure to run the water hose sloping downward and let the water to low out smoothly. Do not install the water hose as shown Fig.8a and Fig.8b.

NOTE: When the continuous drain feature is not being used, remove the drain hose from the outlet.

5. Care and cleaning of the dehumidier

Turn the dehumidiier off and remove the plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.

1. Clean the Grille and Case

• Use water and a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or abrasives.
• Do not splash water directly onto the main unit. Doing so may cause an electrical shock, cause the insulation to deteriorate, or cause the unit to rust.
• The air intake and outlet grilles get soiled easily, so use a vacuum attachment or brush to clean.

2. Clean the bucket

Every few weeks, clean the bucket to prevent growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. Partially ill the bucket with clean water and add a little mild detergent. Swish it around in the bucket, empty and rinse.

NOTE: Do not use a dishwasher to clean the bucket. After cleaning, the bucket must be in place and securely seated for the dehumidiier to operate.

3. Clean the air ilter

The air ilter behind the front grille should be checked and cleaned at least every 30 days or more often if necessary.

NOTE: DO NOT RINSE OR PUT THE FILTER IN AN AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER.

To remove:

Grip the tab on the ilter and pull it upward, then pull it out as shown in Fig.9a and Fig.9b.

Clean the ilter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the ilter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the ilter in a dishwasher.

To attach:

Insert the air ilter into the unit from underside to upside. See Fig.9c. CAUTION:

DO NOT operate the dehumidiier without a ilter because dirt and lint will clog it and reduce performance.

4. When not using the unit for long time periods

• After turning off the unit, wait one day before emptying the tank.
• Clean the main unit, bucket and air ilter.
• Twist the excess cord onto the unit.
  • Cover the unit with a plastic bag.
• Store the unit upright in a dry, well-ventilated place.

6. Troubleshoong

Before calling for service, review the chart below irst yourself

Problem	What to check
Unit does not start	Make sure the dehumidiier s plug is pushed completely into the, outlet.Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box.Dehumidiier has reached its pre-set level or bucket is full.Tank is not in the proper position.

Water on loor	Hose to connector or hose connection may be loose.Intend to use the bucket to collect water, but the back drain plug is removed.
E1, E2, P1 or P2 appear in the display	These are error codes and protection codes. See the CONTROL PADS ON THE DEHUMIDIFIER section.

7. Warranty Provisions

This product comes with a 24-month warranty starting on the date of purchase. Within this period any defects in material or workmanship will be repaired without any charge. The following provisions shall apply regarding this warranty:

1. We expressly dismiss all other claims for damage, including consequential damages;
2. Any repairs or replacements of components within the term of the warranty will not result in an extension of the term of the warranty;
3. The warranty will no longer apply if the product has been modified, non-original parts have been used, or if it has been repaired by third parties;
4. The warranty will only apply, when you present the original, dated proof of purchase, provided no changes have been made to it;
5. The warranty will not apply to damage caused by actions not in compliance with the Directions for Use, neglect, vandalism;
6. Transportation costs and the risk involved during the transportation of the product or its components will always be the responsibility of the purchaser.

In order to avoid unnecessary costs, we recommend that you always read the Directions for Use carefully irst. If they offer no solution, please take the product to your dealer for repair.

8. Environmental Protecon

Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.
