Features

Functions
1) Suitable for sharpening all kinds of metal knives, ceramic knives, kitchen knives, sports knives, fold knives and so on.
2) It not only can be good used for sharpening super hardness Damascus sword, but also be good used for repairing ceramic knives.
SHARPENING INSTRUCTION
Before use, it is required to ensure that the switch of sharpener is turned off. Place the sharpener on a flat steady platform, turn on the power.
1) Coarse Sharpening
Stage 1 used for sharpening the cutting edge and restore its shape to a V - cut. Insert the knife into the left sharpening groove of stage 1 (see Figure 1), pull the knife with light downward force from heel to tip for 4-8 seconds (4-6 seconds for 8 inch metal kitchen knife and 6-8 seconds for ceramic knife), allow the left face of the blade to rest on the left face of the slot when you pull the knife toward yourself (see Figure 2), sharpening should be conducted according to shape of edge (see Figure 3).
Make one pull of the blade in the left slot as described above and then repeat the same action in the right slot of stage 1(see Figure 4&Figure 5&Figure 6).
Hold the right face of the knife against the right face of the right slot when you pull the knife thru the right slot.
In order to keep the consistency of edge, sharpening in the left slot and right slot should be alternative until knife is sharp.
Generally, about 5 pairs of pulls will be OK, but knives with high hardness such as Damascus knives and ceramic knives, or very blunt and damaged knife shall be sharpen around 10 pairs or more.
Then move to stage 2 for fine sharpening and stage 3 for polishing.

2) Fine Honing
Stage 2 used for remove burrs so that it is more smooth.
Fine honing is operated in stage 2 (see Figure 7), process of fine honing is same to process of coarse sharpening. 3)
3) Polishing
Stage 3 used for polish the edge so that it is more sharp.
Polish sharpening is operated in stage 3 (see Figure 8), process of polish sharpening is same to process of coarse sharpening.

Generally speaking, it is suggested to sharpen the knife once a week.
CAUTIONS
1) Always pull the knife toward you. Never push the knife away from you.
2) Always sharpen alternately in the left and right slots of both stages.
3) Do not twist the knife when sharpening.
4) Keep constant force and speed during sharpening.
MAINTENANCE
Dismantle and clean up and install the sharpening dust drawer.
1) Dismantle the sharpening dust drawer: as shown in Figure 9, open up the sharpening dust drawer.
2) Clean up the sharpening dust drawer: as shown in Figure 10, empty out the sharpening dust.
3) Install the sharpening dust drawer: as shown in Figure 11, close the dust drawer.

Attention
1) Unplug power source before maintenance.
2) Cleaning by dishwasher is forbidden, the exterior of sharpener should be cleaned up by a soft cloth, don't immerse the sharpener into water or other liquid.
COMMON FAULTS AND SOLUTIONS
- Motor doesn't work. Check whether the connection between socket and sharpener is in.
- No work after sharpening. To check whether the sharpening is conducted correctly according to the instruction, whether the normal loss period of sharpener is exceeded.
- During sharpening, the trail occurrence on the plastic slot of sharpener contacted by the blade is normal.

Warranty Policy
- The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase, but the service is limited to warranty of sharpener body.
- Change on the sharpener surface and color caused by normal use and damage resulted from overuse and mis-operation are excluded, such as overheating, falling or man-made destruction.
- In order to ensure the warranty service, please submit the warranty card, original package and invoice or other purchase vouchers.
Non-warranty Policy
- Use the product unreasonably or inappropriately.
- Contents on the warranty card are modified by the customer.
- Warranty card is not filled correctly.
- Damage is caused by force majeure.
The manufacturer reserves all interpretation power for all clauses. There are one sharpener and one instruction manual (including warranty card) in the gift box.
