The purpose of the BLP10 personal blender is quick preparation of tasty and nutritious beverages. The universal cap (A) changes the container (B) into a convenient drinking bottle equipped with a handy mouthpiece for drinking, and with a hook for connecting it to e.g. a belt or a backpack.
HOW TO USE
Before first use, wash all the parts of the blender that come into contact with food: cap (A), container (B) and blade (C).
Note:
The blade is sharp. Never completely immerse the blade in water. Before attaching the blade, dry it thoroughly.
- Place the container (B) on a flat and horizontal surface, with the opening facing up, and insert the
ingredients in the container. The ingredients should be cut into small pieces. The ingredients should not stand out above the maximum level marked on the container (B).
- Attach the blade (C) onto the container (B) and tighten it (Fig. 2).
- Rotate the container (B) and place it in the socket (D) as shown by the markings (Fig. 3).
- Lock the container (B) in the base (E) by turning it clockwise (Fig. 4).
The device is protected against activation if the container (A) is not properly attached.
- Connect the device to the mains.
- To start the device, press and hold the (F) button. The shredder will continue operation as long as the (F) button is pressed. For best results activate the device in short pulses.
Do not activate the device, if it is empty.
Do not exceed the maximum time of continuous operation of the device. Any failure to comply with the above, as well as any failure to keep the device idle for the required time may irreparably damage the motor.
If the blade (C) becomes blocked, immediately switch the blender off, disconnect it from the mains, and allow it to cool down for at least 15 minutes. Remove the blocking object.
- Before removing the container (B) from the base (E), wait for the blade to stop.
- Rotate the container (B), place it on a flat surface and unscrew the blade (C).
- Pour the contents of the container into a glass or attach the cap (A). The cap (A) is equipped with a handy mouthpiece with a plug, and a handle (fig. 5).
Useful tips
- For best results add the ingredients in the following sequence: liquids, fresh vegetables and fruit, yoghurt.
- Cut any hard fruits and vegetables into small pieces 1.8-2.5 cm in length.
Do not use the device to:
- whip eggs,
- mash potatoes,
- mix hot liquids (above 50 °C),
- shred fruit with seeds or hard peel – it may damage the blade,
- shred raw meat,
- shred only dry ingredients,
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The device is easiest to clean immediately after use.
Before cleaning, switch the device off, pull out the plug from the mains socket and wait for the blade (C) to stops rotating.
Do not use abrasives, powders, acetone, alcohol, etc for cleaning.
Clean the components with a brush and warm water with some detergent. Rinse with running water.
Pay attention during cleaning the blade (C). It is very sharp. Never completely immerse the blade (C) in water.
Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Never immerse the housing in water nor rinse it with running water.
