How do I pair the weather station with the Tuya Smart app?

First, ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and Bluetooth is on. Power on the station, then long-press the top snooze/backlight/network button for 3 seconds until the network symbol flashes. Open the Tuya app, tap 'Add Device', wait for discovery, select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and follow the prompts. The station will then synchronize weather data.

Why is the weather forecast not showing on the display?

The weather forecast requires a stable internet connection via the Tuya app. Make sure the station is connected to Wi-Fi and the app is running. If the forecast disappears, try refreshing the device connection in the Tuya app or re-pair the station. Also ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz.

Can I add more than one outdoor sensor?

Yes, the main unit supports up to 3 outdoor wireless transmitters. Each sensor must be set to a different channel (1, 2, or 3) via the channel selector inside the battery compartment. The sensors are automatically recognized after power-up. Use the CH button on the main unit to cycle through sensor readings.

What does the comfort level indicator mean?

The comfort level is based on indoor temperature and humidity. A smiley face indicates comfortable conditions (temperature 20-27°C, humidity 40-70%). A sad face appears when humidity is below 40% or temperature is outside the comfortable range. This helps you adjust your indoor environment.

How do I change the temperature unit from Celsius to Fahrenheit?

You can switch between °C and °F using the Tuya Smart app. Open the app, go to the device control page, and tap the 'Unit Conversion' button at the bottom. The change will update on the weather station display.

What should I do if the outdoor sensor reading shows '--'?

This means the main unit is not receiving the sensor signal. First, check that the sensor has fresh batteries and is within 80 meters of the main unit. Ensure no interference from other devices (e.g., monitors at 433.92 MHz). Press and hold the CH button for 3 seconds to rescan. Also avoid placing the sensor near metal window frames.

Can I use the weather station on battery power only?

Yes, the main unit can operate on 3 x 1.5V AA batteries (not included). However, when using battery power, the backlight will only stay on for 10 seconds after pressing the button. For full functionality and constant backlight, it is recommended to use the included AC adapter.

How do I reset or factory reset the weather station?

There is no dedicated reset button. To perform a reset, remove all power sources (AC adapter and batteries) from the main unit, wait a few minutes, then reconnect. This will clear all settings and data. You will need to re-pair with the Tuya app and set up alarms again.

Why is the indoor temperature reading inaccurate?

Ensure the indoor unit is placed in a dry area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources (e.g., radiators), and vents. The sensor accuracy is ±1°C between 0-50°C. If the reading seems off, remove the batteries for a few minutes and reinsert them to reset the sensor.

What is the range of the outdoor sensor and how often does it transmit?

The maximum wireless range is 80 meters in open space. The sensor transmits every 114 seconds (channel 1), 134 seconds (channel 2), or 158 seconds (channel 3). The signal can be obstructed by walls, metal, or other electronics.

Power setting

Plug in the supplied AC/DC power adaptor to an AC household outlet in order to get power source, plug in the DC connector of power adaptor to DC power input jack on the side of rear panel, manage and order the power cord throughout from opened cave. The display will light up, then the unit is ready work for you.

Open the battery compartment cover of outdoor wireless transmitter, insert 2 x AA batteries to the compartment according to the correct polarity showed in the compartment. (Batteries are included) We recommend use high quality alkaline for the best product performance. Heavy duty or rechargeable batteries are not recommended.

The main unit can work with dry battery power only as well. Open up the battery door on the rear panel, insert 3 x AA battery (not include) according to engraved negative and positive polarity. Then the unit will light up and ready work for you. The battery power also can back up the settings.

Receive signal from outdoor wireless transmitter

The main unit can detect and receive the outdoor temperature and humidity wireless signal from transmitter automatically after power setting ready. There will take 3 minutes maximum for signal searching. The signal symbol(nearby outdoor icon) will flash on display during searching, and becomes stable after get the signal. The wireless symbol will be disappeared after 3 minutes if there is no available signal be received. And outdoor temperature and humidity data will show " - - " on display. In case you need reconnect the wireless signal, please press and hold the channel button 3 seconds on side of main unit. The unit will scan and reconnect the wireless signal one after one.

Placement and important notes:

1. Important: The main unit are able to work and connect with 3 outdoor wireless transmitters maximum(only one wireless transmitter included). Open up the battery door of wireless transmitter can see and adjust the channel(include 3 channels). In case you have 2 or 3 wireless transmitters, it requires to set up at different channel between each wireless transmitter for working at same time. Short press the channel button on side panel can check and switch the data from different outdoor wireless transmitter.

2. please use and put main unit or transmitter device 1.5\~2 meters away from interference source like computer monitors or TV sets. Please also place the main unit stand up far away with metal window frames.

3. Please do not use other electronic products such as headphones or speakers operating at the same signal frequency (433.92MHz), which may cause interference. Your neighbors use electronic devices operating on the same signal frequency (433.92MHz) can also cause interference.

4. To ensure accurate temperature measurement, place the device in a dry area, free of dirt and dust. Place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or vents.

5. You can install the wireless transmitter outdoor. For better accuracy of using, please place

the sensor lengthwise/ standing up 1.5\~2 meters at least away from the ground with enough air flowing and protection without rainy. Please do not expose the sensor to direct sunlight for a long time.

1. The maximum working distance of wireless transmitter is 80 meters away from main unit.

2. The wireless signal from transmitter will refresh in every 114(channel 1)/134(channel2)/158(channel3) seconds in recycle.

Download TUYA APP and configuration

Important: Before start to download app and pairing the device, Please make sure and set your smart phone connected with 2.4G, or 2.4/5G hybrid Wi-Fi network, and turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone as well. It cannot work and support under 5GHz network.

TUYA smart APP: Using your smart phone to scan below QR cord and download the "Tuya smart" APP (depends IOS or Android system) in your device, you also can search the Tuya smart from Apple store or Google play to download the app. Tap and run the app in your device, check and click the agreement of app, register or log-in your account as request.

Pair and configuration: Power on the main unit, long press 3 seconds the top snooze/backlight/network button(touching button) enter to pair mode and the network symbol will flash on display. Open up and log-in the Tuya smart app on your device, tap "Add device"(Ref. photo A) and searching device on the app(there may ask location accessible, please agree it), check the discover device list and tap "Add "button(Ref. photo B), select your home Wi-Fi network name and key-in the password as asked. The weather station will pair with app and press "Done" button (Ref. photo D and E), then the app will start configuration, and transfer local city 5-days weather forecast/UV index/temperature data etc. to the display of weather station.

Use Tuya app control weather station

Alarm/snooze: you can set up 3 alarms from app as below, the buzz voice will wake up from weather station unit when the alarm time is being. Short press any one button can cancel the alarm voice, but wake up again at same time next day. Short press top snooze/backlight/network button enter to snooze mode, and it will wake up again after 5 minutes. The alarming voice will last for 2 minutes and off automatically in case of no further operation.

Others: You also can set and get the indoor&outdoor temperature alert/indoor&outdoor temperate&humidity graph curve/temperature °C(Celsius degree) or °F(Fahrenheit degree)

unit conversation function from app by pressing the relevant button at bottom of home interface. In case of you set and turn on temperature alert function on app, the unit will alert by buzz voice, short press the top snooze/backlight/network button to cancel the voice, but the temperature data will keep flash on display till out of setup alert range.

Important notes:

a. Both weather station and your smart phone should connect and work under same Wi-Fi network.

b. In case you take smart phone outside, the weather station can connect and work with your Wi-Fi network alone.

c. In case changed Wi-Fi network or wi-fi password, you have to repair the weather station with your smart phone. You can delete the device from Tuya app first, then repair and add it from app base on above paragraph introducing of this manual.

d. In case weather forecast information lost or incomplete on display, please try to open Tuya smart app, fresh and reconnect device.

e.You can rename the device name by tap below pencil icon on the app.

Other settings

Week language: short and repeat press the setup button on side panel to switch the week language(7 types)

Backlight brightness: in AC/DC power adaptor mode, short press the top snooze/backlight/network button to adjust the backlight brightness between high/middle/low level. In battery power mode, Short press top snooze/backlight/network button can make the display light on and off after 10 seconds.

Low battery indicator: when the battery symbol shows next the outdoor temperature which means low battery power in outdoor wireless transmitter; when the battery symbol shows next to indoor temperature which means low battery power for main unit if you use battery power. Please replace it with fresh batteries.( This product work with APP, it will check and download data from internet frequently, highly recommend to use the product connect with AC/DC power adaptor.)

Trouble shooting

Doesn't display anything. ✦ Check if the AC/DC power adaptor connect with unit properly.
Temperature/humidity from outdoor sensor not displayed.	◇ Check that the distance between the thermometer and sensor doesn’t exceed 30m.◇ Make sure that the devices are located at least 2m from monitors and TV sets.◇ Avoid placing the devices on or close to window frames made of metal.◇ Avoid using electronic devices such as loudspeakers which operate at the same frequency (433.92MHz), close to the devices.◇ Please double check if the wireless transmitter was set up in different channels each other◇ Remove the batteries, wait a while and then reinsert them.
Displayed temperature is incorrect.	◇ Remove the batteries, wait a while and then re-insert them.◇ Make sure that the devices are not affected by heat sources or air-conditioning units and such.

Uparivanje i postavljanje: Uključite meteorološku stanicu, pritisnite i držite gornji gumb za odgodu/svjetlo/mrežu (gumb na dodir) 3 sekunde i uđite u način uparivanja. Simbol mreže treperi na zaslonu. Otvorite pametnu aplikaciju Tuya na svom uređaju, dodirnite "Dodaj uređaj" (fotografija A) i potražite uređaj u aplikaciji (može zatražiti pristup lokaciji, dajte dopuštenje), provjerite popis za otkrivanje uređaja i dodirnite "Dodaj" (pogledajte fotografiju B), odaberite naziv svoje kućne Wi-Fi mreže i unesite traženu lozinku. Meteorološka stanica će se upariti s aplikacijom, zatim pritisnite gumb "Gotovo" (pogledajte slike D i E).
