How do I install the Hyundai RA 410B radio in my car?

First, disconnect the car battery. Use the mounting sleeve and trim ring provided. Connect the wiring harness matching colors: red to switched 12V, yellow to constant 12V, black to ground. Connect speakers (4 ohms) and antenna. Slide the radio into the sleeve until it clicks. Reconnect battery.

What is the fuse rating for this radio?

The Hyundai RA 410B uses a 10A blade fuse located on the rear panel. Always replace with the same rating to avoid damage.

Why does the radio not turn on?

Check the fuse first. Ensure the ignition wire (red) is connected to a 12V source that turns on with the key. Also verify the ground connection (black) is secure and clean.

How can I reset the clock?

With the radio on, press the CLK button until the hour flashes. Use the tuning knob or preset buttons to set hour, then press CLK again to set minutes. Press CLK once more to confirm.

Can I play MP3 CDs?

Yes, the RA 410B supports MP3 playback on CD-R/RW discs. Burn MP3 files at a maximum bitrate of 320 kbps. Avoid multi-session discs.

How do I save radio stations?

Tune to the desired station, then press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-6) for about 2 seconds until a beep confirms. Repeat for other stations. Band (FM1/FM2/AM) must be selected first.

What is the correct speaker impedance?

Use speakers with 4 ohms impedance. Connecting lower impedance may damage the amplifier. The maximum output is 20W per channel RMS.

How to clean the radio faceplate?

Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Do not use any liquids, sprays, or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the display or buttons.

Why is there no sound?

Check speaker connections and ensure the mute function is off. Verify the fade/balance settings are centered. Also check that the source (radio/CD) is selected and volume is not at minimum.

Can I connect a USB drive?

The RA 410B does not have a USB port. It only supports CD playback and radio. For auxiliary input, a separate adapter may be required (not included).

When using electrical products, basic precautions should always be followed including:

RADIO OPERATION

1) Plug the Power Cord (6) into a standard 230 V \~ 50 HZ outlet.
2) Fully extend the FM Antenna (5) for best reception of FM broadcasting.
3) Rotate the On/Off/Volume Knob (4) clockwise until it clicks turning the unit on.
4) Select either AM or FM on the AM/FM/ Knob by turning it to the right for FM or to the left for AM.
5) Rotate the Frequency Tuning Knob (3) while watching the frequency display to tune to your favourite station.
6) When listening to the AM bandwidth rotate the unit horizontally for best reception.

TO turn the radio off

Set the VOLUME (4) to Off.

TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE

The unit does not operate

• The Power Cord (6) is not properly connected to a power outlet.
- The unit is not turned on: Rotate the On/Off/VOLUME Knob (4) from the OFF position past the click to turn on the unit.

Cannot listen to any station.

The FM station you selected will not come in clearly

• Move the antenna until reception improves.
  • Make a minor adjustment to the Frequency Tuning Knob (3)
