Frequently Asked Questions - BL78 Eldom

What is the maximum capacity of the Eldom BL78 blender?

The maximum capacity is 1.5 liters, suitable for blending beverages, soups, and sauces.

Can I blend hot liquids in the BL78?

It is not recommended to blend boiling liquids directly. Allow them to cool to below 60°C to prevent pressure build-up and damage.

How do I clean the blender jug?

The jug and lid are dishwasher safe (top rack). Alternatively, rinse immediately after use and wipe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.

Why does the blender stop suddenly during use?

The blender has overload protection. If it stops, unplug and let it cool for 10-15 minutes before using again. Also check that the jug is not overfilled.

Can I crush ice with the BL78?

Yes, the stainless steel blades and powerful motor can crush ice. Use the pulse function for best results.

Is the blender jug made of glass or plastic?

The jug is made of BPA-free plastic, lightweight and durable.

How do I replace the blender blades?

Blade replacement should be done by an authorized service center. Contact Eldom support for spare parts. Do not attempt to disassemble the blade unit yourself.

What voltage does the BL78 operate on?

It operates on 220-240 V ~ 50/60 Hz. Ensure your outlet matches this voltage.

The lid does not close properly. What should I do?

Check that the gasket is properly seated and that the lid is aligned with the jug. If the issue persists, contact service for possible lid replacement.

How long is the warranty?

The Eldom BL78 comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Registration may be required.

CZYSZCZENIE I KONSERWACJA

• Before using the appliance for the first time, please read carefully these Instructions for Use.
• The appliance should be connected to sockets compliant with current parameters given on the casing.
• The appliance must always be disconnected before cleaning and maintenance as well as in case of malfunction or after operation.
• The appliance should be disconnected by pulling the plug, not the power cord.
• Do not use in the open air.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet or moist hands or feet.
• The appliance must not be immersed in or sprinkled with water.
• Keep out of children's and animals' reach.
• The device can be used by children aged 8 and older and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or persons without sufficient experience and knowledge only under supervision or if previously instructed on the safe use of the appliance and the possible risks. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance that are the responsibility of the user shall not be carried out by children without supervision. Protect the appliance and the power cord against children under 8 years old.
• When in operation, do not leave the appliance unattended.
• Do not exceed the maximum time of continuous operation of the appliance.
• Before switching the appliance on, make sure all its elements are installed correctly.
• Do not switch the appliance on without any products.
• Do not use liquids with a temperature of over 50°C.
• Do not use the appliance, if the knife is damaged.
• Do not sharpen blades. Replace them, if they do not cut properly or if they are worn out.
• Do not touch the knife when the appliance is in operation. When the appliance is unplugged, wait until the knife stops revolving before touching it.
• Use only with the originally included accessories.
• The power cord and the whole appliance should be regularly checked for damage. Do not switch the appliance on, if any damage has been found.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not use the appliance, if the power cord is damaged or if the appliance fell down or was otherwise damaged. The appliance should be repaired by an authorised Service Centre; a list of Service Centres can be found in the attachment and on the website www.eldom.eu.
• The appliance can be repaired only in an authorised Service Centre. Any modernisation or application of spare parts or elements other than the original ones is forbidden and dangerous for the user.
• The company Eldom Sp. z o.o. shall not be liable for any damage caused by inappropriate use of the appliance.

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

Before using the appliance for the first time, wash and dry all elements carefully, except for the body (see: "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE").

The mode of assembling the device has been illustrated on the phot. 2 and fig.1

The appliance starts to work after pressing and holding the button (1) or (2). The mixer works as long as one of the buttons is pressed. After pressing the button (2), the appliance works at full speed.

Do not use the appliance for crushing ice, bones and other hard products, or for grinding nuts, coffee and dried leguminous plants.

If the appliance jams, unplug it before cleaning.

The grinder knife (4) and the knife (6) are very sharp. They can be touched only when the appliance is unplugged and when the knives have stopped revolving.

The knives are wear parts, subject to normal wear and tear, and they are not covered by the guarantee.

The time of continuous operation of the appliance must be observed. Exceeding the operation time and lack of sufficient breaks in the operation of the appliance may lead to irreversible damage to the engine and to forfeiture of guarantee.

The accessories and containers may not be used for preparing hot dishes.

If the appliance slows down during mixing or beating, switch it off and, if possible, dilute the mixed or beaten product.

Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning remove the power cord from the socket. The appliance may not be immersed in water. The body (3) and cover of mixing container (5) can be wiped with a moist cloth. Detach the grinder (4) from the body (3). The grinder may not be completely immersed in water. The ends with grinder knife can be immersed.

Complete immersion of the grinder (4) in water may lead to seizure of the ends and forfeiture of guarantee. Knife (6) and mixing container (7) can be washed with water with dishwashing liquid.

The container (7) are not suitable for a dishwasher and for storing products in the fridge.

Do not clean the knife with bare hands. When cleaning, use a small brush.

Do not clean the appliance with coarse cloths or sponges as it may lead to damaging the appliance.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

- The appliance is made of materials which can be reprocessed or recycled.

- The appliance should be disposed of only in authorised disposal centres which deal with collecting and recycling electrical and electronic appliances.

GUARANTEE

- The appliance is intended for private domestic use only.

- The appliance may not be used for professional purposes.

- The guarantee ceases to be valid in case of inappropriate handling.
