How do I set the timer on the Eldom Rast PR300 oven?

To set the timer, turn the timer knob (9) to the right to your desired cooking time. A sound signal will sound when the time elapses. The oven starts only when temperature, function, and timer are set.

What is the maximum weight I can put on the grill or plate?

The maximum load on the grill (10) and plate (11) is 3.5 kg. For the rotisserie (13), the maximum is 2.5 kg. Ensure products do not touch the walls, door, or heating elements.

Can I use paper or plastic containers in the oven?

No. Do not use paper, plastic, cardboard, or similar materials in the oven. Only use heat-resistant vessels such as metal or glass containers.

How do I clean the oven and its accessories?

Turn off and unplug the oven, let it cool. Wash removable accessories (grill, plate, handles, rotisserie) in warm water with washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher. Wipe the oven body and interior with a damp cloth. Never immerse the body in water.

What should I do if the interior light bulb burns out?

Replace the bulb with a heat-resistant bulb of the same type. Remove the protective cover, unscrew the old bulb, and screw in a new one. Purchase the bulb from a service shop or specialist store.

What heating functions are available?

The function knob (8) offers 5 modes: top heat only, bottom heat only, top and bottom heat combined, top and bottom heat with fan, and top heat with fan and rotisserie. Turn to 'OFF' to stop.

How do I use the rotisserie function?

Place meat on the rotisserie rod (13) and secure it. Insert the rod into the oven using the rotisserie handle (14). Select the function that includes rotisserie (top heat, fan, and rotisserie). Set temperature and timer as desired.

Is it safe to open the door while the oven is running?

Yes, but be cautious: hot steam may escape. Turn the function knob to 'OFF' before opening. Use insulated kitchen gloves and avoid contact with steam. The oven stops when the door is opened (by turning off function) but the timer continues.

What precautions should I take during use?

Place the oven on a flat, heat-resistant surface with at least 12 cm space on all sides. Do not cover the appliance. Use protective gloves when handling hot parts. Keep children away. Unplug after use. Do not use if cord is damaged.

Can I use metal foil in the oven?

No. Do not cover food or any part of the oven with metal foil, as it can cause overheating. Also, do not place products wrapped in metal foil inside the oven.

INTENDED USE

The PR300 oven is designed for grilling, roasting, baking and general cooking in heat-resistant vessels. In addition, it is equipped with a rotisserie.

SETTING UP THE APPLIANCE

Before using the appliance, make sure that the appliance, the plug and the power cable are in good technical order and whether all parts of the package were removed.

Before the first use, all parts of the appliance that are in contact with food must be thoroughly washed (see: Cleaning and maintenance).

Specific smell may be sensed during the first use, which results from the production process. It is a normal process and it will go away after a time. Ensure the proper ventilation in the room, e.g. opening the window.

The first use of the appliance should be without products.

USE

Before using the appliance for the first time:

- Read the instruction manual.

- Make sure that the appliance is disconnected from the mains and that the knobs (6, 8, 9) are turned all the way to the left, indicating that the appliance is switched off.

- Place the appliance on a flat, hard, stable, and heat-resistant surface, taking care to ensure that there is enough room around the appliance.

- Plug the appliance into the mains, in line with the parameters specified in the instruction manual.

- Set the operating parameters.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

Use the knob (6) to set the temperature. The temperature can be set from low to 230^ C.

Using the knob (8) you can select 5 different functions for different baking methods:

top heater on
-bottom heater on
- top and bottom heaters on
- top and bottom heaters and fan oven function on
- top heater, fan oven function + rotisserie on

Turn knob (8) to the "OFF" position to turn the appliance off.

Set the operating time by turning the knob (9).

To start the timer, turn the knob (9) to the right.

A sound signal will be heard after the programmed time has elapsed.

NOTE.

In order for the appliance to start operating, you need to set the temperature, the operating time and choose one of the functions.

There is an internal light in the oven chamber (3) which lights up when the appliance is in operation.

During operation, the indicator light (7) lights up and goes out. The thermostat maintains the proper temperature.

ACCESSORIES

• grill (10) – used for grilling, roasting, baking and general cooking in heat-resistant vessels,
• plate (11) – used for baking various dishes containing water or releasing water or oil during cooking (e.g. meat, poultry, fish, etc.),
• handle (12) – facilitates inserting and removing the grill (10) and the plate (11) from the appliance,
• rotisserie (13) – used for roasting poultry and other types of meat,
• rotisserie handle (14) – facilitates inserting and removing the rotisserie (13).

OPERATION

- Place the products directly on the grill (10), plate (11) or rotisserie (13), place them in the heating chamber (3) and close the oven door (2).

NOTE:

Do not use any paper or plastic containers.

Products should be placed evenly on the grill (10), plate (11) or rotisserie (13).

• Set the temperature, select the baking method.
• The appliance will start once the time has been set using the knob (9).

NOTE.

In order for the appliance to start operating, you need to set the temperature, the operating time and choose one of the functions.

- To check the baking progress during operation, turn the knob (8) to the "OFF" position and open the door (2) by pulling the handle (1).

NOTE:

When the door (2) is opened, hot steam may escape from the interior.

• Use kitchen gloves and the appropriate handles (12, 14) to remove the food.
• After the set time has elapsed, a sound signal will be heard and the appliance will switch off.
• When cooking is finished, turn the knob (8) to the "OFF" position and disconnect the appliance from the mains.

TIPS

• A maximum of 3.5 kg can be placed on the grill (10) and the plate (11), and a maximum of 2.5 kg on the rotisserie (13), but the products must not come into contact with the walls, the door or the heating elements.
• Products must be distributed evenly.
• The baking time should be adapted to the size, type and initial temperature of the products.
• Consecutive portions of the same food can be cooked faster due to the warming up of the interior.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn the knobs (6, 8, 9) to the left as far as possible before cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from the power supply and let it cool down.
• Do not use sharp-edged or sharp objects to clean the appliance, as they may damage functional parts or compromise the safety of the unit.
• All moving parts should be washed with warm water and washing-up liquid. It is best to wash them directly after use. After rinsing with clean water, they must be dried immediately.
• Never immerse the body (4) in water or wash under running water. Clean the body (4) and the heating chamber (3) with a damp cloth.
• If it is difficult to wash the grill (10), plate (11) and rotisserie (13), they can be immersed in hot water with washing-up liquid and left for a few minutes.

- The dishwasher can be used to clean elements (10, 11, 12, 13, 14).

BULB REPLACEMENT IN THE OVEN CHAMBER

If the bulb in the oven chamber burns out, replace it with a bulb of the same type. The bulb must be heat-resistant. It can be purchased in the maintenance shop or in a specialist shop. Do not use other types of bulbs.

• Turn the knobs (6, 8, 9) to the left as far as possible before putting the product away, disconnect the appliance from the power supply and let it cool down.
• Remove the cover and then the bulb fig.1.
• Screw in the new bulb of the same type, and then screw in the cover.

STORAGE

• Turn the knobs (6, 8, 9) to the left as far as possible before putting the product away, disconnect it from the power supply and let it cool down.
• Never put the appliance away when it is hot or still plugged in to the power supply.
• Clean the appliance and all its components.
• Store the oven in the box (preferably the original one) in a clean and dry place.
• Do not wrap the cable around the appliance. Do not tighten the cable, as this may weaken or tear the cable.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

• The device is made of materials which can be reused or recycled.
• The device should be handled to a special point which deals with collecting and recycling of electric and electronic equipment.
