Please read the instructions carefully to take a good output from the appliance and then save it for the future references.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

• Make sure that the voltage indicated on your appliance corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. Our company shall not be held liable for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such failures shall not be covered by the guarantee.
• Your device is for household use only. Do not use outdoors for commercial or industrial purposes. Otherwise, inconvenient uses shall not be covered by the guarantee.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Do not use extension cords that supply improper current in order to prevent damage to your machine.

• NEVER immerse your appliance in water or other liquid and NEVER use near containers containing water or other liquid. You can clean the outside of your appliance using a dry or moist cloth when not in use.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, such as falling down, etc. Do not dismantle or repair yourself. Take the appliance to an Arzum Authorized Service.
• Use only original spare parts in your appliance.
• Do not use accessories of other appliances in your product. Use with only its own accessories.
• This appliance can only be used for human hair and beard. Do not use this appliance on animal fur or wigs and on hair made of synthetic material.
• Do not use your shaver without cleaning if it is used by others.
• NEVER touch the moving section of the appliance when it is on. Keep the appliance away from clothes, eyelashes and other objects.
• Switch the appliance off and make sure you unplug your appliance before all kinds of interventions on the appliance.
• Do not expose the appliance to temperatures below 0°C or over +45°C and especially to direct sunlight for a long time.
• Keep your grooming appliance and its accessories away from all kinds of heat sources.
• Do not use extension cords that supply improper current in order to prevent damage to your machine.
• Unplug your appliance after use, before attaching accessories and before cleaning and maintenance.
  · Do not leave your appliance running when not in use and unplug it.
• Keep the appliance dry.
• For the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply unit provided with this appliance.

CHARGING THE APPLIANCE

• When the product is used for the first time, please fully charge the battery, and battery power should be completely emptied before it is charged for the second time, thereby extending the life of the battery.
• If you do not charge the battery for a long time, it will malfunction that never charge again.
  • Always make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using or charging.
• Your battery has a product life as others. If you use your battery considering the charging rules, its usage life will be increase.
• When the lifetime of the battery has completed, the battery has to be changed only by an Arzum Authorized Service. Please charge and discharge the new battery according to the instructions mentioned before. Batteries of appliances which are not to be used according to be above mentioned instructions will complete its lifetime early.
• Charging takes approximately 60 minutes. The appliance can be used up to 60 minutes after it is charged.
• Switch the appliance off before charging.
• Plug the power supply unit into a socket.
• You can charge your appliance on the dock station by plugging it to the cable directly or by plugging the cable to the dock station.
• When charging, the battery charge indicator lights up red. When the indicator light turns to green the charging process will be completed.
  • Always switch the beard trimmer, hair clipper off and unplug the plug from the charger socket after charging is complete.

To extend the lifespan of the beard trimmer battery:

• Do not charge the battery every day. Preferably discharge the battery completely every six months and then charge for 1,5 hours.
• Do not charge the appliance for longer than the recommended charge

time. Overcharging reduces the lifespan of rechargeable batteries.

- If the appliance is not to be used for a prolonged period of time, it must be charged for 1,5 hours before putting it away.

CAUTION:

• Risk of corrosive substance EN leakage and explosion. Batteries shall NOT be disassembled, exposed to excessive heat such as that caused by sunlight, fire or similar sources. They shall NOT be short circuited, mechanically damaged, thrown into the fire, put into water, stored with metallic objects, dropped on hard surfaces. In case of battery leakage, avoid any contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
• Risk of serious lesions. Always keep the batteries out of reach of children. If swallowed, the batteries can cause lethal lesions. Therefore, always keep the batteries out of reach of children. In the event that a battery is swallowed, contact a doctor or the local poison centre immediately.
• Charge your appliance at room temperature. The appliance shall not be charged at the temperatures under the 0°C and over 45°C. The charging unit may heat during charging the appliance. It is normal while the battery is charging, the adapter may heat.

CORDED AND CORDLESS

- It works either connected to the power supply or by battery.

CONNECTING/DISCONNECTING THE ACCESSORIES (4 or 5)

· Turn off the appliance before changing the nozzle you use.

- For attaching an accessory (4 or 5): Hold the appliance with one hand, place the desired nozzle on the appliance and turn it to the left.

- For detaching an accessory (4 or 5): Turn the nozzle to the right and pull it up to remove.

Attaching, detaching and adjusting the Hair/Beard trimming nozzles (6 or 7)

Depending on the length of hair or beard you want to cut, you can use any of the adjustable combs.

Hold the appliance with one hand, align the adjustable comb over the hair/beard trimming nozzle (4) and place it so that it coincides with the holes on both sides of the comb. Then press both sides so that it fits into the nozzle. You will hear a click when the product is fully seated on the nozzle.

Adjustment of comb No. 6 and 7: You can adjust the cut setting you want by turning the adjustment button on the back of the comb.

USING YOUR APPLIANCE WARNING:

• Switch the appliance off before changing any accessories.
• DO NOT use this appliance if there are visible signs of damage. DO NOT use the appliance if the blades are damaged or do not work properly.
  • Make sure that your beard or hair is dry and clean, with no residue of hairspray, mousse, gel or other hair products, and then brush in the direction of growth, untangling any knots.
• You can also wash blades under running water. Make sure blades are dry before replacing on the body.

Using the Hair/Beard Shaver Head (4)

- As hair grows in different directions, you need to move your appliance in different directions. Designed especially to quickly trim your beard and hair line.

When the appliance is turned off, place the metal clipper nozzle (4) on your appliance. Attach the hair cutting comb (6-7) to the blade according to the length you want. Insert the XL hair/beard comb (6-7) on the blade according to desired length.

Tips

• If hair builds-up on the adjustable comb, disconnect it from the appliance and clean by blowing/shaking to remove the hair.
  • Take note of the settings of the cutting length used as a reminder for future use.

Using the vertical nose and ear trimmer (5) Warning :

• Make sure your nostrils are clean.
• Make sure your ears are free of oil and dirt.
- Do not insert the vertical accessory in your ears and nostrils more than 0.5 cm while the appliance is running.
• After applying it on the product, carefully trim any extra nose and ear hair.
- Plug in the head of nose and ear hair trimmer to your machine. Clean the unwanted hairs in the nose and ears by turning the head slightly.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Always disconnect the appliance from the socket before. You can clean the exterior by wiping with a dry or damp cloth.
- Do not use powdered products, abrasive liquid products or solvents such as alcohol or petroleum-based products to clean the appliance.
- NEVER plunge your appliance into water or another liquid. Clean also the main body of your appliance with a dried cloth.

Cleaning of the Blade

We recommend a regular cleaning of the hair/beard clipper.

Regular cleaning prevents odors or bacteria and increases product performance.

• Turn off the appliance and unplug the adapter from the socket.
• Press the center part of the nozzle with your thumb, push it upwards and remove it from the appliance.

- Clean the blade and the inner section of the appliance with the supplied brush. Then wash with water.

- Insert the locking tab of the blade into the slot in the appliance and push it until it clicks into its place.
