Instructions for use
△ Important
- The fan heater will become very hot during use.
- Bear in mind that factors such as the size of the room, the outside temperature and how well the building is insulated, all affect the ability of the heater to warm the room up. If the room is too large the ability of the heater to warm it up to the desired temperature may be insufficient.
- Using the highest power setting could constitute an additional load on the building's electrical system. If more than one load device (washing machine, microwave oven, kettle, etc.) is plugged into the same electrical circuit as the industrial fan heater, the extra current draw could cause the fuse/circuit breaker to trip.
- Contact a qualified electrician if you are unsure or experience problems with your circuit breaker.
-
The fan heater has a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heating element that adjusts the heat output of the heater in accordance with the ambient temperature.
-
Make sure that the stand is correctly fitted before switching the fan heater on.
- Plug the product into a wall socket.
- Turn the power selector to the preferred setting and turn the thermostat knob to the maximum setting.
- When the room temperature has risen to the desired level, turn the thermostat knob back until the heating element switches off (it will make a clicking sound).
- The heating element will come back on again when the temperature drops to maintain the set temperature.
Note: The fan will continue to rotate even after the heating element has switched off. The fan will only be switched off when the power selector is set to 0.
Care and maintenance
- Always disconnect the plug from the wall socket before moving or cleaning the fan heater or when it is not to be used for a long time.
- Clean the fan heater using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
Troubleshooting guide
| The fan heater does not start. | Check that the power selector is not set to 0.Is the plug securely connected to the wall socket? Is the wall socket energised? |
| The fan rotates but gives off no heat. | The set room temperature might have been reached.Turn the thermostat knob towards the maximum setting and follow the instructions in the Instructions for use section. |
