USER MANUAL 44-1713 Coline
Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and then save it for future reference. Safety
Do not overload the scale. Refer to the weight capacity stated in the specifications.
Inserting batteries
The scale requires 2 × AAA/LR03 batteries (sold separately).
- Open the cover on the bottom of the scale.
- Insert the batteries according to the markings in the battery compartment.
- Change the batteries when the low-battery symbol appears on the display.
Weighing
- The scales can be read in the following units: grams (g), millilitres (ml), pounds and ounces (lb:oz) och fluid ounces (fl oz). The default setting is grams (g).
- Press [MODE/-] to change the unit of measurement when the scale is switched on.

The display shows the time and temperature when it has been switched on and is not under load.

Place the scale on a hard, level surface.
- Press [TARE/+]. The backlight will come on and "0" will appear on the display.
- If you are going to weigh something in a container, place the empty container on the scale.
- Press [TARE/+ ] again. "0" will appear on the display.
- Press [MODE/-] repeatedly to change the unit.
- Place the ingredients into the container on the scale. The weight of the ingredients in the container will show on the display.
- Press [TMR] to clear the display and see the time and temperature.
Note: The display automatically enters the time and temperature display mode after 60 seconds.
Tare feature
Note: The volume readings for ml and fl oz are calibrated for water and other liquids weighing 1 g/cm ^3 (1 g weight equals 1 ml volume). If you weigh milk, for example, you should account for 5 % deviation.
This function is useful for bakers who want to put all their ingredients in the same container.
- Press [TARE/+ ] to reset the scale to 0.
- Place the ingredients in the container, the display shows the weight of what has been put in.
- Repeat the procedure to add more ingredients to the container.
Temperature display
When the scale has just been switched on and when it is not being used, the temperature is displayed at the top of the display screen.
Clock
When the scale has just been switched on and when it is not being used, the time is displayed on the display screen.
Setting the clock:
- Hold in [TMR] for approx 3 seconds.
- The hour display will begin to flash.
- Set the hours using [TARE/+ ] and [MODE/-] to adjust, confirm by pressing [TMR].
- Set the minutes using [TARE/+ ] and [MODE/-] to adjust, confirm by pressing [TMR].
- Press [TMR] once more when the time has been set and it will be displayed.
Switching off
The scale will turn off automatically after about 60 seconds.
Note: The scale always displays the time and temperature.
Overload indicator
When the scale is overloaded with a weight exceeding 5 kg, “O-Ld” will appear on the display. Lighten the load on the scale so that the weight capacity is not exceeded.
Countdown timer
- Press [MODE/-] to go to "TIMER".
- Press [START] to start setting the countdown time. The minutes setting flashes. Use [TARE/+] and [MODE/-] to adjust.
- Press [TMR] to confirm. The seconds flash. Use [TARE/+ ] and [MODE/-] to adjust.
- Press [TMR] to finish the settings and start the timer.
- When the alarm goes off, press any of the buttons to turn it off.
Care and maintenance
- Place the scale on a hard, flat and level surface for the best accuracy.
- Be careful when handling the scale; protect it from vibrations, blows and extreme temperatures.
- Never use strong cleaning agents/solvents to clean the product. Dry the scale using a soft cloth.
- Never expose the scale to moisture or water.
- Remove the batteries from the scale if it is not to be used for an extended period.
- The scale is only intended for private use, not for commercial use.
- Do not store anything on the scale when it is not in use.
Troubleshooting guide
Incorrect measurements or “strange symbols” on the display may mean: The scale is experiencing interference from radios, mobile phones or microwaves that are in close proximity. Try moving the scale away from any such source of interference.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
