Frequently Asked Questions - PRO WS30-A Cocraft

How do I empty the dust container?
To empty the dust container, press the release button and lift the container out. Hold it over a trash bin, press the bottom latch to open the lid, and empty the contents. Wash the container with warm water if needed and let it dry completely before reassembling.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the HEPA filter every 1-2 months or when the suction seems weak. Tap it gently to remove dust, or wash it with water and let it dry for 24 hours before reinserting. Do not use the vacuum without the filter.
Why is the vacuum not picking up dirt?
Check if the dust container is full, the filter is clogged, or the hose is blocked. Also ensure the floor nozzle is set correctly for your floor type. Clean the filter and remove any obstructions.
Can I use this vacuum on hardwood floors?
Yes, the PRO WS30-A is suitable for hardwood floors. Use the floor nozzle with the correct setting to avoid scratching. The soft brush attachment is recommended for delicate surfaces.
What accessories are included?
The vacuum comes with a floor nozzle, crevice tool, and a dusting brush. The crevice tool is ideal for corners and tight spaces, while the brush is for furniture and upholstery.
How do I replace the dust bag?
This model uses a dust container, not a bag. However, if you use optional dust bags, open the container, remove the full bag, and insert a new one. Ensure the bag is properly seated to avoid leaks.
The vacuum overheated and shut off. What should I do?
This is a safety feature to prevent damage. Turn off the vacuum and unplug it. Check for blockages and clean the filter. Let it cool for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
Where can I buy spare filters?
Replacement HEPA filters are available from authorized Cocraft dealers or online retailers. Use only genuine parts to maintain performance. Search for 'Cocraft PRO WS30-A filter'.
How long is the power cord?
The power cord is 5 meters long, giving you a cleaning radius of up to 8 meters. If you need more reach, use an extension cord rated for the vacuum's power.
Is the vacuum suitable for pet hair?
Yes, the strong suction and included tools can handle pet hair. However, the filter may need more frequent cleaning if you vacuum a lot of pet hair. Use the brush attachment for upholstery.

Power switch Power tool socket

The power switch has three settings:

  • | On

Switching on a power tool connected to the socket automatically switches on the vacuum cleaner; switching the connected tool off, switches off the vacuum cleaner.

  2. Then connect the suction hose (2) from the vacuum cleaner to the dust extractor port on the circular saw (or respective power tool). Set the power switch to the AUTO position.
  3. The on and off switchings of the vacuum cleaner will now be controlled by the connected power tool. The vacuum cleaner will be switched on as soon as the connected power tool is switched on. When the connected power tool is switched off there will be about a 5-second delay before the vacuum cleaner is switched off.

Note: The power tool socket must not be loaded with more than 2180 W.

Cocraft PRO WS30-A - Wet vacuuming - 1

  1. Make sure that the vacuum is unplugged from the mains.
  2. Remove the motor unit and fit the foam filter. Refit the motor unit onto the container and fasten it on using the toggle catches.
  3. Attach the suction hose to the container by screwing it onto the vacuum port.

Things to consider when wet vacuuming

  • The cloth bag pre-filter, cartridge filter and dust bag must first be removed and the foam filter fitted, before beginning any type of wet vacuuming.
  • Make sure that the foam filter is clean and dry before fitting it onto the motor unit and beginning to wet-vacuum.
  • The water level within the container is regulated by a safety float valve. When the container needs to be emptied, the safety valve stops suction and the motor will race. Turn off the motor with the power switch, remove the drain cap (33) and empty the container.
  • Clean the foam filter regularly. Remove the foam filter and hand wash it with water and a little mild detergent. Allow the filter to air dry.
  • Wipe the container clean and allow it to dry before storing the vacuum or continuing with any type of dry vacuuming.
  • Don't forget to fit the cartridge filter, pre-filter and dust bag before beginning any type of dry vacuuming.

Care and maintenance

  • Always unplug the vacuum from the wall socket before cleaning/maintenance or when it is not in use for an extended period.
  • Clean the exterior of the vacuum cleaner using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
  • Make sure that all components are completely dry before storing the vacuum in a dry dust-free place out of the reach of children.

Cleaning the pre-filter and cartridge filter

  1. Make sure that the vacuum is unplugged from the mains.
  2. Remove the filters.
  3. Brush or shake any dirt and debris off the filters (in an appropriate outdoor area).
  4. Refit the filters back onto the motor unit.

Cleaning the foam filter

  1. Make sure that the vacuum is unplugged from the mains.
  2. Remove the filter.
  3. Hand wash the filter with mild soapy water and then rinse well with clean water.
  4. Allow the filter to air dry. Refit the filter only when it is completely dry.
