How do I charge the HV 12-W vacuum cleaner?

Connect the included charging adapter to the charging port on the vacuum. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The LED indicator will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged. Full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.

What should I do if the suction power decreases?

First, empty the dust cup. Then, check and clean the filter. If the filter is clogged, wash it with water and let it dry completely before reinserting. Also, check the nozzle and crevice tool for blockages.

Can I wash the filter?

Yes, the filter is washable. Remove the filter and rinse it under running water. Do not use detergent. Let the filter air dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling. Do not use a hair dryer or microwave to dry it.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

Under normal use, the battery provides up to 20 minutes of continuous suction. Run time may vary depending on surface type and attachments used.

Is the vacuum suitable for wet spills?

No, the HV 12-W is designed for dry vacuuming only. Do not use it to pick up liquids, as this may damage the motor and pose an electric shock hazard.

How do I empty the dust cup?

Press the dust cup release button and remove the cup. Hold it over a trash bin, then press the bottom latch to open and empty the contents. Reattach the cup by aligning it and clicking it into place.

The vacuum stops working suddenly. What could be wrong?

Operating instructions

Note: Never use the vacuum without the filter in place.

On/off button

1. Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position.

Dry vacuuming

1. Fold out the extension nozzle (1) and push it into the vacuum until it sits securely in place (the vacuum may also be used without extending the extension nozzle).

1. Attach the brush nozzle if needed. Note: The brush nozzle can only be attached to the extension nozzle.

2. Remove the brush nozzle once you have finished vacuuming.

1. Carefully pull out the extension nozzle from the vacuum and fold it back into place.

1. Press [EN] (6), remove the dust collector, empty it and clean it.

Wet vacuuming

Note:

• The vacuum is only designed to vacuum a small amount of liquid.

• Refer to the capacity mark on the collector for reference. Never vacuum more liquid than the capacity marking indicates.

• Attach the wet vacuuming nozzle if needed.

1. Remove the nozzle once you have finished vacuuming, press [EN] (6), remove the collector, empty it and dry it out thoroughly.

Care and maintenance

• Always unplug the power lead from the 12 V socket before any type of cleaning or maintenance.

- Clean the exterior of the vacuum using a slightly dampened cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.

- Unplug the power lead from the 12 V socket of the vehicle and store the vacuum in a dry, dust-free environment out of the reach of children, whenever the vacuum is not to be used for an extended period.

Cleaning the filter

1. Pull out the plug from the 12 V socket of the vehicle.

1. Remove the filter and filter holder by pulling it out straight from the vacuum.

Clean both parts thoroughly. Let both parts dry thoroughly before refitting them.

Note: Never immerse the motor unit in water.

1. Refit the dust collector back onto the vacuum cleaner.

Troubleshooting guide

The vacuum does not turn on.	Make sure that both the power cable and plug are undamaged and that the plug is fully inserted into the vehicle's 12 V socket.Check that the 12 V socket is live. Check that the connected fuse is intact and that the vehicle battery has charge.
Low power.• Clean the filter according to the Care and maintenance section above.Make sure that there is nothing blocking the ventilation ports, extension nozzle or any of its attached accessories.
