Safety Notices

The protector (when correctly used and worn) provides limited protection against the results of strong mechanical forces as in a fall or impact. For example in the event of falling with a motorcycle or during winter sports it can reduce the extent of abrasion and crushing in the protected area, but it does not guarantee complete physical integrity! Motorcyclists and those doing winter sports are therefore advised to use the back protector provided this is not understood as an invitation to be careless or engage in risky rides. The level of protection provided by the back protector remains unlimited provided its original properties are unchanged.

Never wear the waistcoat without protector pad.

It’s important to always check the protector prior to use as any damage such as fractures and tears (even minimal) may impact performance of the protective gear. In the event of images or if the protector has been exposed to serious mechanical impacts the protector must be replaced.
Designated use
This product was designed for use in winter sports and motorcycling and may be used along with other matching protective equipment or combined with garments.

Measuring waist to shoulder
When measuring the length from waist to shoulder the measuring tape must cross the shoulder at the centre between its outside edge and the joint between shoulder and neck. At the back of the body the measuring tape must be held at the shortest distance to a point about 90mm to the side of the body's centre line. The waist level is the horizontal line 50mm above the highest points of the hip bone (iliac crest).

Note!
With the protector positioned as instructed check the fit by putting on your garments over it and making the movements you will later be doing on the motorcycle or bicycle and/or engaging in winter sports. Secure the back protector with the abdominal belt, which is secured with a hook-and-loop fastener.
Storage, care, cleaning
To keep the protector in good condition we recommend keeping it in a dry, well ventilated environment, away from heat sources, windows, doors or panes, and out of direct sunlight. The ambient temperature must never be below 5 °C or above 70 °C (e.g. in the car in the summer). Avoid extreme cold as well as heat.
Be sure to store the back protector with the inside up without being weighed down by items which may result in deformation or damage. We strongly recommend checking the closures and anchors of the protector for any fractures or other defects after every use. If minor tears or damage are uncovered, please contact the manufacturer for further assessment. If the damage is significant the protective equipment must immediately be replaced.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for the results of repairs or modifications of the protective equipment not actually performed by the manufacturer.

CAUTION:
Contact with harsh chemicals (acids, oils, solvents, etc.) may impact the integrity of the protective equipment.
Please remove the protector plate from the opening inside the waistcoat to clean the back protector waistcoat.
Only clean the protector plate with a dry cloth.

Vest:

The back protector is manufactured using only conventional materials which are not known to be harmful to the health.
Back protector life
When stored with the above care and not exposed to mechanical impacts, the back protector can maintain its protective function for a long time. The life of the protector particularly depends on its effective use, the resulting material wear and climate conditions and other environmental factors. Depending on the strain it is therefore advisable to regularly check the condition of the protector and to replace it as necessary. The back protector should be replaced after 5 years.
Disposal note
Dispose the back protector through an approved waste management company or your municipal waste facilities. Please observe current applicable ordinances. When in doubt please contact the waste facility regarding environmentally friendly disposal.
