How do I turn on the heated blanket?

Connect the control to the blanket using the plug-in connector, then set the control to a level between 1 and 6. Level 6 provides maximum heat and fastest warming.

What are the temperature levels?

There are 6 levels: Level 0 (off), Level 1 (minimum heat), Levels 2-5 (medium heat), Level 6 (maximum heat).

Does the blanket have an automatic shut-off?

Yes, it switches off automatically after approximately 180 minutes. The function display will flash. To restart, select level 0 then the desired level.

Can I wash the blanket?

Yes, it is machine washable. Use a gentle 30°C cycle and mild detergent. Wash no more than 5 times during its lifetime. Do not bleach, wring, machine dry, or iron.

What should I do if the safety system activates?

If the safety system switches off the blanket due to a fault, the function display will not light up. Do not use the blanket after a fault; return it to the service address.

Is the blanket safe for people with pacemakers?

Consult your doctor and pacemaker manufacturer before use. The electric and magnetic fields are below permissible limits but may interfere with pacemakers.

Can children use this blanket?

Children must not use the blanket unless a parent has pre-set the control and the child has been instructed on safe use. Do not use for infants or helpless persons.

How should I clean the control unit?

Use a dry, fluff-free cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with mild liquid detergent. Never immerse the control in water.

What is the warranty period?

The warranty covers material and manufacturing faults for 3 years from purchase. Proof of purchase is required. It does not cover damage from improper use or wear parts.

How should I store the blanket?

Allow the blanket to cool completely, then store in a dry place without heavy objects on top. Avoid sharp creases and folding tightly. Use original packaging if possible.

Do not use the heated overblanket if it is damp.

Do not misuse the mains cable to carry or hang up the heated overblanket or to pull the plug out of the socket. Keep

the cable away from heat, oil, and sharp edges. If the mains cable is damaged or severed, do not touch it, and remove the mains plug immediately. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shocks.

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! Do not stick needles or sharp objects into the heated overblanket.

If you use a cardiac pacemaker, please consult your doctor and the manufacturer of the pacemaker be-

fore using this heated overblanket. The electric and magnetic fields generated by the overblanket may under certain circumstances interfere with the operation of cardiac pacemakers. However, the levels are far below the permissible limits: details of these levels can be found in the "Technical data" chapter.

CAUTION! Take care that you do not fall asleep while the heated overblanket is in operation. Excessively

long use can cause skin burns.

Do not use the heated overblanket on parts of the body that are infected, injured or swollen. If you are in doubt, seek medical advice before using the heated overblanket. Infections, injuries and / or swelling may otherwise worsen.

Repairs must only be carried out by specially trained personnel or at a repair shop authorised by the manufacturer, since special tools are necessary. Improper repairs may result in considerable dangers for the user.

Check the heated overblanket regularly for signs of wear or damage. If you find such signs of damage, if the cables are damaged or if the heated overblanket has not been used properly, it must be returned to the manufacturer or to a dealer before it is used again. If the mains connection lead of this electric overblanket is damaged, in order to avoid causing further danger it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a manufacturer-approved repair centre or a suitably qualified person.

Avoid damage to the heated overblanket!

Please make sure that you:

- only connect the heated overblanket to the voltage indicated on the overblanket (label),

- only use the heated overblanket in combination with the control 1 indicated on the overblanket (label),

do not switch on the heated overblanket if it is folded or bunched up,

- do not trap the heated overblanket,

- do not make sharp creases in the heated overblanket,

- do not place any objects, e.g. suitcase or washing basket, on the heated overblanket when it is switched on,

- do not place any heat source, e.g. hot water bottle or similar, on the heated overblanket when it is switched on.

The heated overblanket may otherwise be damaged.

Do not cover the control and do not lay it on the heated overblanket when the overblanket is in operation. The electronic components in the control cause the control to heat up slightly during operation.

Take care that you do not pull, twist or crease the cables.

● Safety system

Note: the heated overblanket is equipped with a safety system. The electronic sensor technology prevents the entire surface of the heated overblanket from overheating by automatically switching off in the event of a fault.

If the safety system switches the heated overblanket off automatically as a result of a fault, the function display on the control 1 will no longer light up, even when the heated overblanket is switched on.

Please note that, for safety reasons, the heated overblanket must not be used after a fault and must be returned to the service address indicated.

Operation

Note: when the heated overblanket is used for the first time, you may notice a smell of plastic; however, this will disappear after a short time.

● Switching on / off / selecting the temperature

Before use, connect the control 1 to the heated overblanket using the plug-in connector 2 (see Fig. B).

Switching on:

Set the control to Level 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to switch the heated overblanket on.

Switching off:

☐ Set the control 1 to Level 0 to switch the heated overblanket off.

Selecting the temperature:

Shortly before using the heated overblanket, set the highest temperature (Level 6). This heats the overblanket fastest.
☐ If you wish to leave the heated overblanket on for several hours, set the lowest temperature (Level 1).

Note: the heated overblanket switches itself off automatically after approx. 180 minutes. The function display on the control 1 then starts flashing.

☐ First select level 0 and after approx. 5 sec. the required temperature level, to switch the heated overblanket back on.
☐ Switch the heated overblanket off (Level 0) or pull the mains plug out of the socket if you no longer wish to use the heated overblanket after automatic switch-off.

● Cleaning and care

Before cleaning the heated over-

blanket, always remove the mains plug from the socket and disconnect the plug-in connector 2 together with the control 1 from the heated overblanket (see Fig. B).
