- Before initial use

☐ Pull insulating strip from the battery compartment.

Start-up

The stereo signal is internally converted to a mono signal.

The device supports audio devices with ∅ 3.5 mm audio port.

Plug the audio cable into the designated jack 4 on the device 1 (see Fig. A). Plug the other end of the audio cable into the headphones jack on the audio device.

Slide the ON / OFF switch to the ON position to power the device on. The indicator light 2 will light up blue. The device is now ready for use.
☐ Slide the ON / OFF switch to the OFF position to power the device off. The indicator light will turn off and the device is now powered off.
Control the volume through the audio device.
If the audio signal sounds distorted the internal amplifier is being over-modulated. In this case turn the volume down a little through your audio device.
☐ If the volume of the speaker is clearly diminished it indicates the battery is

becoming weak. In this case replace the batteries.

☐ In the product is not in use, slide the ON / OFF switch to the OFF position. The blue indicator light will turn off.

●Replacing batteries and mains operation

Replacing batteries:

☐ Slide the ON / OFF switch to the OFF position.
☐ Flip the cover of the battery compartment 6 on the handle outward. Use a pointy object (e.g. pen).
Insert 3 AAA batteries (see Fig. B).

Be sure to insert batteries as indicated in the battery compartment 7 (with flat negative battery terminal toward the spring of the respective slot.).

☐ Close the battery compartment. The device is now ready to use.

Mains operation:

Alternately to batteries this device may also be powered by an external mains adaptor as the power supply. The mains adaptor must meet the technical data specified under "Technical data / low voltage jack". Such mains adaptors are available from speciality retailers.

☐ First switch the ON / OFF switch to the OFF position.

Plug the mains adapter into the jack at the back of the device. The device is now ready to use.
