How do I set up the MSI MPG341CQR monitor?

Connect the stand to the monitor using the provided screws, then attach the base and tighten the base screw. Connect the power cord and video cable (HDMI/DisplayPort/USB-C) to your PC. Turn on the monitor and PC, then select the appropriate input source via the OSD menu.

How do I adjust the monitor settings using the Navi Key?

Press the middle button of the Navi Key to open the OSD main menu. Use the Up/Down/Left/Right buttons to navigate. The default hotkeys (when OSD is off) are: Up for Game Mode, Down for Screen Assistance, Left for Alarm Clock, Right for Input Source. Customize these in the OSD under 'Navi Key' settings.

How to enable Adaptive Sync (FreeSync)?

Go to OSD Menu > Gaming > Adaptive Sync and set it to ON. Note that Adaptive Sync disables Anti Motion Blur and PIP/PBP. Ensure your graphics card supports Adaptive Sync and use a compatible DisplayPort or HDMI cable.

How do I use PIP/PBP mode?

In OSD Menu > PIP/PBP, select PIP or PBP mode. Choose the secondary input source (HDMI1, HDMI2, DP, or Type C). Adjust PIP size and location if desired. PIP/PBP disables Anti Motion Blur and Adaptive Sync.

What is the maximum resolution and refresh rate supported?

The monitor supports up to 3440x1440 at 144 Hz via DisplayPort. HDMI can support up to 3440x1440 at 100 Hz. Check your graphics card capabilities and use the appropriate cable.

How do I clean the screen safely?

Unplug the power cord. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the screen. Do not use any liquid or chemical cleaners. Avoid touching the display panel directly.

Can I mount this monitor on a wall?

Yes, it supports VESA 100x100 mm mounting. Use M4 x 10mm screws (included). Remove the stand and attach a compatible wall mount kit. Ensure the wall can support the monitor's weight (9.7 kg).

Why is there no image on the screen?

Check that the monitor and PC are powered on. Verify the video cable is securely connected. Try a different input source. If the computer is in standby, press any key. Ensure the correct input source is selected in OSD.

How do I enable the USB ports on the monitor?

Connect the included USB Upstream cable from the monitor's USB-B port to a USB port on your PC. Once connected, the USB Type-A ports on the monitor will function. The USB-C port supports video and power (5V/3A) but not data.

How to reset the monitor to factory settings?

Go to OSD Menu > Setting > Reset and select YES. This restores all settings except Language. The monitor will reboot with default values.

Always disconnect the power cord or switch the wall socket off if the device would be left unused for a certain time to achieve zero energy consumption.

The ventilator on the device is used for air convection and to prevent the device from overheating. Do not cover the ventilator.

Do not leave the device in an unconditioned environment with a storage temperature above 60^ or below -20^ , which may damage the device.

NOTE: The maximum operating temperature is around 40^ C.

When cleaning the device, be sure to remove the power plug. Use a piece of soft cloth rather than industrial chemical to clean the device. Never pour any liquid into the opening; that could damage the device or cause electric shock.

Place the power cord in a way that people are unlikely to step on it. Do not place anything on the power cord.

Always keep strong magnetic or electrical objects away from the device.

If any of the following situations arises, get the device checked by service personnel:

Installing the Monitor Stand

1. Align the latches of the stand to the monitor. Tighten the stand with the stand screws.
2. Adjust the angle of the stand. Align the latches to place the VESA cover.
3. Connect the base to the stand and tighten the base screw to secure the base.

IMPORTANT

Place the monitor on a soft, protected surface to avoid scratching the display panel.

The holes for installing the stand can be also used for wall mount. Please contact your dealer for proper wall mount kit.

1. Turn off your computer.
2. Connect the HDMI/DisplayPort cable from the monitor to your computer.
3. Connect the power cord to the monitor power jack. (Figure A)
4. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet. (Figure B)

6. Power on the computer and select your input source in OSD menu.

The monitor comes with a Navi Key, a multi-directional control that helps navigate the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.

The power LED is off.

■ Press the monitor power button again.
- Check if the monitor power cable is properly connected.

No image.

■ Check if the computer graphics card is properly installed.
- Check if the computer and monitor are connected to electrical outlets and are turned on.
- Check if the monitor signal cable is properly connected.
■ The computer may be in Standby mode. Press any key to activate the monitor.

The screen image is not properly sized or centered.

Refer to Preset Display Modes to set the computer to a setting suitable for the monitor to display.

No Plug & Play.

• Check if the monitor power cable is properly connected.
  ■ Check if the monitor signal cable is properly connected.
  ■ Check if the computer and graphics card are Plug & Play compatible.

The icons, font or screen are fuzzy, blurry or have color problems.

■ Avoid using any video extension cables.
■ Adjust brightness and contrast.
■ Adjust RGB color or tune color temperature.
■ Check if the monitor signal cable is properly connected.
■ Check for bent pins on the signal cable connector.

The monitor starts flickering or shows waves.

■ Change the refresh rate to match the capabilities of your monitor.
■ Update your graphics card drivers.
- Keep the monitor away from electrical devices that may cause electromagnetic interference (EMI).
