Can I use this device to switch 230 V loads?

Yes, the relay output supports up to 8 A @ 230 V AC for resistive loads. Use the COM, NO, and NC terminals as needed.

What is the difference between OTAA and ABP activation?

OTAA uses AppKey and AppEUI to derive session keys dynamically during join. ABP requires pre-configured NwkSKey, AppSKey, and DevAddr. OTAA is more secure.

MCF-LW13IO is a LoRaWAN™ actuator that allows to switch ON and OFF a 230 Vac - 8A load. It also reads the status of a 230 Vac input.

2. CONNECTION OF THE DEVICE

If correctly configured, when the device is powered by terminals L LINE and N LINE, it connects to the LoRaWAN™ network. The connection status is visible on the red/green led.

3. LORAWAN™ ACTIVATION

OTAA MCF88: Over the air activation according to mcf88 specifications

ABP: requires writing to the device of NwkSkey, AppSkey, DevAddr

The device exits factory activated with NONE mode.
