How to start the ice cube maker?

Fill the tank with drinking water (not distilled water) up to the MAX mark, plug in the appliance, select the ice cube size using the SELECT button (S for small, L for large) then press START.

What to do if the ADD WATER light comes on?

This means the tank has too little water. Press STOP, fill with drinking water up to the MAX mark, then press START again.

Why are my first ice cubes small or irregular?

This is normal during the first three uses. After about 60 minutes of operation, the ice cubes will be normal and regular in size.

How to clean the ice cube maker?

Unplug the appliance and remove all ice cubes. Clean the interior and exterior with a water and vinegar solution. Do not use chemicals, gasoline or petroleum. Rinse with clean water before restarting.

What to do if the machine does not produce ice cubes even though it is running?

Check if the water inlet tube is blocked: remove the tube from the evaporator, remove the plug, run water to clean it, then reassemble. If the problem persists, contact a specialist.

Can I use distilled water?

No, it is recommended to use drinking water. Distilled water may disrupt the operation of the machine.

How to change the ice cube size?

Before starting or during operation, press the SELECT button to alternate between small (S) and large (L) size. The default size is L.

What to do if the compressor makes an unusual noise?

This may be due to an electrical voltage that is too low. Stop the appliance and plug it into an outlet corresponding to the indicated voltage (220-240 V ~ 50 Hz).

How to drain the remaining water?

Unscrew the cap at the water outlet (located at the back) to drain the excess water. Once emptied, screw the cap back on.

This appliance contains the coolant isobutane (R600a), a natural gas which is environmentally friendly. Although it is flammable, it does not damage the ozone layer and does not increase the greenhouse effect. The use of this coolant has, however, led to a slight increase in the noise level of the appliance. In addition to the noise of the compressor, you might be able to hear the coolant flowing around the system. This is unavoidable, and does not have any adverse effect on the performance of the appliance. Care must be taken during the transportation and setting up of the appliance that no parts of the cooling system are damaged. Leaking coolant can damage the eyes.

Special Notes

• When positioning the unit, make sure that the power cord is not pinched or damaged.
• Make sure that there are no multiple sockets or power supplies on the back of the unit.

To avoid contamination of food, please follow the instructions below:

• Regularly clean surfaces that may come into contact with food. Clean the water drain regularly.
• If the appliance contains a water tank, clean it if it has not been used for 48 hours. Rinse the tank if no water has been removed for 5 days.

WARNING

When using, servicing and disposing of the unit, pay attention to the left symbol on the rear of the unit or on the compressor. This symbol warns of possible fires. There are flammable substances in the refrigerant lines and in the compressor. Keep the appliance away from sources of fire during use, maintenance and disposal.

USE AND OPERATION

Before first Use

• During transportation, the incline angle of the cabinet should not be over 45^ . Do not turn the ice maker upside down, as this may damage the compressor and sealed system.
• Remove all packing material and carefully check your ice maker to ensure it is in good condition and that there is no damage to the ice maker or power cord and plug.
• The ice maker should be placed horizontally on a level surface. To ensure proper ventilation for your ice maker allow 150 mm of space at the top, the back and on each side. Do not install the ice maker near an oven, radiator, or any other heat source. Before using the ice maker for the first time, please wait 2 hours after positioning it, and keep the front lid open for at least 2 hours
• Ensure that the voltage indicated on the ice maker corresponds with the voltage in your home.
• Pure water is not allowed to be used on this unit, spring water is recommended.

Operation

1. If filling water by manual (10029294), take out of the ice basket, then add water to the tank directly, please make sure the water is not over the MAX line. If filling water automatically (10029295), connect the external water pipe at back of unit with the water tape as follows.

1. Plug in.

2. Select desired ice cube size by pressing "SELECT". Note: Please select the (S) when ambient temperature is below 15 °C.

3. Press "START" button to turn unit on. The ice maker begins to work. Note: For the first three cycles, the ice may be small and irregular in size, and it would last for longer time, maybe even around 60 minutes.

4. If indicator, ICEFULL' is in red with noise, DI DI', please take out the ice with the scoop.

5. Press, STOP' button to stop the machine.

6. Remove the drain plug to drain remaining water from the water reservoir. Screw the drain plug back in place after the water has been drained.

CLEANING AND CARE

- Clean the inner liner, water box, ice shovel and evaporator frequently. When cleaning, unplug the unit and remove the ice cubes. Use a diluted solution of water and vinegar to clean the inside and the outside surface of the Ice maker. Do not spray Ice maker with chemicals or diluted agents such as acids, gasoline or oil. Rinse thoroughly before starting.

- Keep ventilation openings in the appliance enclosure, or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

- If the machine is reused after a long time, maybe the water pump cannot pump sufficient water due to the air inside, the ADD WATER water indicator light will turn on in this case. To correct this press the START button again, then the machine will work normally.

- To ensure the cleanliness of the ice cubes, water in the water reservoir should be replaced every 24 hours.

- If the compressor stops for any reason such as water shortage, too much ice, power off, etc... Do not start the system right away, wait 3 minutes, and then re-start the ice maker.

- Always change with fresh water before starting ice production at initial installation or after long shut-off periods.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Please note, if the water filled to the evaporator is not symmetrical, small sundries maybe be formed and lod- ged in the pipe which will mean that water will be filled to the evaporator causing it to jam. Please pull out the cap of the pipe, then let the water through the pipe in order to clean the pipe, then you can replace the cap. It will make formal ice cubes.
