- Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury.
- Appliances which do not work properly or have been damaged must be checked immediately and repaired by customer service.
▶ Use only the provided power cable to operate the appliance!

Never submerge the cooking plate in water or other liquids! Risk of fatal electric shock if residual liquids come into contact with live components during operation. To clean, just wipe with a damp cloth.

▶ Never leave the appliance unattended during operation.
This appliance may not be used by children younger than 8 years of age.
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised, or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood the potential risks.
▶ Children must not use the appliance as a plaything.
⚠ WARNING! INJURY HAZARD - RISK OF FIRE!
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are older than 8 years of age and are supervised. Children younger than 8 years of age must be kept away from the appliance and the power cable.
▶ Provide a stable location for the appliance.
▶ Ensure that the power plug is easily accessible in cases of danger, and that there is no risk of tripping over the cable.
▶ Never use the appliance if individual appliance components, the power cable or the power plug have been damaged, if there are any malfunctions, or if the appliance has been damaged in any other way or fallen down.
▶ Plastic bags can be dangerous. To avoid the risk of fatalities through suffocation, keep plastic bags out of the reach of children. - Do not operate the appliance using an external time-switch or a separate remote control system.

Caution! Hot surface! The touchable surfaces (cooking plate and wok pans) can become extremely hot during operation!
In case of danger, remove the plug from the socket immediately.
▶ Never use the appliance for purposes other than the ones for which it was designed.
WARNING! INJURY HAZARD - RISK OF FIRE!
▶ Always remove the power cable from the wall socket and the appliance if the appliance is not in use, when removing components and before cleaning it.
▶ During cooking, always hold the wok pans by their handles, since they can become extremely hot during use.
▶ Do not use the wok pans to make soup! The wok pans are too flat for this, and the soup could therefore boil over extremely quickly!
▶ Never pour water into heated fat or oil in the wok pans while cooking! This would cause fl ashing, and possibly a fi re! People in the vicinity of the party wok could also be seriously burned!
▶ Overheated fats and oils can set on fi re quickly if they are overheated! Under no circumstances should you try to extinguish burning fats or oils with water!
This would cause fl ashing, which could also ignite furniture and curtains etc.!

▶ To extinguish burning fats and oils...
1. Immediately remove the power plug from the wall socket.
2. Smother the flames by placing a lid, a metal dish, a metal bowl or a fire blanket over the wok pans.
CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!
▶ Do not use the wok pans as cooking implements on other heat sources (e.g. on hotplates), since they could be irreparably damaged.
▶ Use only the plastic spatula supplied to stir the food in the wok pans; if you use implements made of metal the non-stick coating on the wok pans will become scratched and therefore unusable.
▶ Never use the provided plastic spatulas for turning food over or for other work directly on the cooking plate. They are not heat-resistant and will be irreparably damaged!
- Do not cut or slice ingredients inside the wok pans. Otherwise the non-stick coating on the wok pans will become scratched and therefore unusable.
▶ Never place other kitchen implements onto the cooking plate instead of the wok pans. This could irreparably damage the implements and/or the appliance.
▶ Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Function
You can use the party wok ...
-to prepare food in the traditional Chinese style at high heat;
—most of the vitamins and nutrients are retained in the food due to short cooking times and high heat;
—the foods can be prepared with little or no fat;
—individuals can prepare their own food to their own taste.
Location of use
Always place the party wok on a level, fi rm and heat-resistant surface in a dry environment.

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
To avoid the risk of damage caused by heat and the risk of fire in the immediate vicinity of the wok when it is switched on, always ensure that ...
▶ the switched-on wok is always at least 50 cm away from walls, furniture and other objects;
▶ no objects are suspended above the switched-on wok (e.g. lamps);
▶ there are no easily infl ammable objects in the vicinity of the switched-on wok (e.g. materials/ textiles);
the power cable ③ and the cooking plate ① are not located close to hot surfaces or naked flames;
the power cable ③ cannot come into contact with the cooking plate ①;
▶ no moisture and/or liquids can permeate the cooking plate ①. Non-compliance increases the risk of fire or of receiving an electrical shock!
Before initial use
Remove all party wok components from the packaging. Remove all protective film that may be on the appliance and clean all packaging residue from the parts that will come into contact with food (see Chapter "Cleaning and Care").
Operation
NOTE
▶ During initial use a small amount of smoke and a slight odour may occur, this is due to production residue. This is completely normal and is not dangerous. Provide sufficient ventilation by opening a window, for example.
1) Insert the sauce dishes ② into the slots provided for this purpose on the side of the cooking plate ①. Then fill the sauce dishes with the required sauces ②.
2) Plug the power cable ③ into the cooking plate ①. If the appliance is positioned with the long side facing the mains power plug, lead the cable through the clamp.

If the appliance is positioned with the short side facing the mains power plug, lead the cable through one of the two long cable guide channels on the underside of the cooking plate ①.

3) Plug the power cable ③ into a power socket. The appliance heats itself up and reaches the designated operating temperature within around 15 minutes.
4) Now place the wok pans ⑥ on the cooking plate ①. Ensure that the wok pans ⑥ are standing safely and upright in the recesses on the cooking plate ① provided for this purpose.

WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
Never place aluminium foil or other materials between the cooking plate ① and the wok pans ⑥, otherwise, irreparable damage may be caused to the party wok. There would also be a risk of fire!
5) Then place the desired ingredients into the wok pans ⑥. If necessary, add some oil or fat into the wok pans ⑥. Use the provided plastic spatulas ④ to turn the food over.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
The plastic spatulas ④ and the ladles ⑤ are not heat-resistant! For this reason, you should not leave them in the wok pans ⑥. Never touch the hot cooking plates ① with the plastic spatulas ④ or the ladle ⑤. The plastic could melt at high temperatures!
6) When you have finished cooking, remove the plug from the mains power socket. The appliance is then switched off.
NOTE
▶ You can also use the party wok to make crêpes or thin pancakes. To do this, pour the dough into the recesses on the cooking plate ①. You will not require the wok pans ⑥.
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
▶ To turn the crêpes, only use the wooden spatula supplied ⑦, otherwise the anti-stick coating on the cooking plate ① can be damaged!
Cleaning and care

DANGER – ELECTRIC SHOCK!
▶ Always remove the power cable ③ from the wall socket fi rst before cleaning the party wok and its components! Otherwise, there is the risk of receiving an electric shock!

Never immerse the cooking plate ① in water or other liquids for cleaning.

WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
▶ Always allow the cooking plate ① and wok pans ⑥ to cool down before you start cleaning them. Otherwise there is a risk of burns!
ATTENTION! DAMAGE TO PROPERTY!
▶ Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, if so the anti-stick coating on the wok pans ⑥ and the cooking plate ① will be scratched and become unusable!
Once you have removed the party wok power cable ③ from the mains socket and the wok pans ⑥ and cooking plate ① have cooled down ...
1) Use the plastic spatulas ④ to remove all remaining food residue from the wok pans ⑥.
2) Thoroughly rinse the wok pans ⑥, the sauce dishes ②, the plastic spatulas ④, the wooden spatula ⑦ and the ladle ⑤ in warm water with a mild dishwashing detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, otherwise the non-stick surfaces of the wok pans ⑥ will be scratched and become unusable!
3) Rinse any remaining detergent off with clear water.
4) Clean the cooking plate ① with a moist sponge or cloth.
5) Ensure that all parts are completely dry before operating the party wok again.
Storage
■ Remove the power cable ③ from both the wall socket and the cooking plate ① when the appliance is not being used.
- Allow the party wok and its components to cool down completely before storing them away.
- Wrap the power cable ③ and the cable retainers on the underside of the appliance.

Malfunctions
Should the party wok not function or not function correctly ...
- Check to ensure that the power cable ③ is correctly connected to the cooking plate ①.
- Check to ensure that the power cable ③ is correctly connected to the wall socket.
- Check to ensure that the wall power socket to which the party wok is connected is "live" by connecting another appliance to it.
If the malfunction cannot be traced back to one of these causes ...
■ First remove the power cable from the wall socket and allow the cooking plate ① to cool down.
■ Re-insert the power cable ③ into a wall power socket.
Should the malfunction not be corrected by the measures described above, please contact our service department.
Warranty and service
The warranty provided for this appliance is 3 years from the date of purchase. This appliance has been manufactured with care and inspected meticulously prior to delivery. Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact your Customer Service by telephone. This is the only way to guarantee free return of your goods.
The warranty only covers claims for material and manufacturing defects, not for transport damage, wearing parts or for damage to fragile components such as switches or batteries. This appliance is intended solely for private use and not for commercial purposes.
The warranty is deemed void if this product has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or modifications which were not carried out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty.
The warranty period is not prolonged by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts. Damage and defects present at the time of purchase must be reported immediately after unpacking, or no later than two days after the date of purchase. Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are chargeable.

NOTE

French-style crêpes
Recipe for 6 people
Ingredients:
◆ 500 g of sieved wheat fl our
◆ 1 l. milk
◆ 2 tbsp. cooking oil or melted butter
◆ 2 pinches of salt
◆ 6 beaten eggs
1) Mix the milk and the fl our to a liquid dough. Add the beaten eggs, cooking oil or butter and the salt. Then allow the dough to stand for 1 - 2 hours.
2) Should the dough be too thick after standing, add a small glass of water and stir the dough again.
3) Place a ladle of dough into each of the cavities on the cooking plate ① and smooth the crêpe dough with the back of the ladle ⑦.
The cooking time is about 30 seconds per side.
Caramel Shrimps
Ingredients:
For each wok pan you will require:
◆ 1 tsp. pastis
◆ 2 tbsp. soya sauce
◆ 2 tbsp. sugar
Salt, pepper, oil
◆ 100 gr large pink shrimps
1) Wash and peel the shrimps.
2) Heat some cooking oil in the wok pan ⑥ and fry the shrimps whilst stirring them constantly.
3) After this, sprinkle sugar over the shrimps immediately, mix everything up and allow the sugar to caramelise.
4) When done, add the pastis and the soya sauce.
5) Add salt and pepper to taste and serve the meal. The cooking time amounts to approx. 6 minutes.
Mince meat surprise
Ingredients:
◆ 500 gr. minced beef
◆ 1 egg
♦ chopped parsley
◆ 1 chopped onion
◆ 2 chopped garlic cloves
◆ 2 crushed rusks
◆ salt, pepper, butter
1) Mix all the ingredients and then shape them into small balls.
2) Heat the butter and fry the meat to taste.
Our serving suggestion: Place the meat mixture on the table and let your guests fry it in portions. For a wider variety of "meatballs", you could add cheese, mushrooms, paprika or aromatic herbs, for example.
The cooking time amounts to approx. 6 minutes.

Omelette with ham Ingredients:
For each wok pan you will require:
♦ ¼ slice of diced ham
◆ 10 g cheese
◆ 1 ½ ladles of omelette mixture
◆ salt, pepper and 1 knob of butter
1) Heat up the butter in the wok pan ⑥.
2) Now add the ham and the cheese and fry everything for a while.
3) Now add 1 ½ ladles of omelette mixture and season to taste with salt and pepper.
4) Mix everything up with a plastic spatula ④.
Allow it to become as fi rm as you wish and then serve. The cooking time amounts to approx. 8 minutes.
