How to replace the lamp in Acer X1211?

Turn off and unplug the projector, wait 30 minutes for cooling. Remove the lamp cover screw, slide out the old lamp module, insert the new one (e.g., Acer P-VIP lamp), and tighten the screw.

Why is the image not clear?

Check the focus ring and zoom. Adjust keystone correction if trapezoid. Ensure resolution source matches projector's native XGA (1024x768). Clean the lens with a soft cloth.

How to clean the air filter?

Remove the filter cover, take out the filter, vacuum or wash with mild detergent, dry completely before reinserting. Clean every 100 hours of use.

Can I connect a laptop via HDMI?

Yes, the X1211 has an HDMI port. Use a standard HDMI cable. If no signal, change input source on projector using the Source button.

What is the recommended projection distance for a 100-inch screen?

For a 100-inch diagonal, the approximate distance is 3.0 to 3.6 meters (10-12 feet), depending on zoom. Refer to the distance chart in the manual.

How to enable 3D mode?

Press the 3D button on remote or go to menu: Display > 3D. Select DLP 3D or NVIDIA 3D depending on source. Use compatible 3D glasses (DLP Link or NVIDIA).

The projector turns off automatically during use. Why?

Overheating protection: check air filter for dust, ensure ventilation is clear, reduce ambient temperature, or switch to Eco mode. If persists, contact support.

How to reset the lamp hour counter?

After replacing lamp, go to menu: Management > Lamp Hours Reset, select Yes. Confirm with Enter. This clears the counter for new lamp.

What is the product warranty?

Standard Acer warranty: 2 years for projector, 90 days for lamp. Check local regulations. Registration may extend warranty.

How to adjust the volume?

Use the Volume + and - buttons on the remote or keypad. The built-in speaker is 2W. For external audio, connect to Audio Out port.
