Lightweight Compressor Nebulizer
Inhalation-, Asthma-, Allergy- & Respiratory Therapy
INTRODUCTION

Read carefully the instructions for use before operation.
Thank you for purchasing the Kardioline KL600 Compressor Nebulizer. This product was developed for the successful treatment of asthma, allergies and other respiratory disorders. The Medical Air Compressor Nebulizer System is a medical device designed to deliver medication prescribed by a physician to the airways of the lungs. The nebulizer and air compressor combined provides an aerosol mist for inhalation by the patient for medical treatment only.
This device fulfils the previsions of the EC directive 93/42/EEC (Medical Device Directive) and the European Standard EN 13544-1:2007+A1:2009 Respiratory therapy equipment – Part 1: Nebulizing systems and their components.
WORK PRINCIPLE
This unit is compact simple to operate and convenient to carry. It uses a non-oil lubricating, single-cylinder piston pump to create air pressure. the Nebulizer's air compressor unit, out the jet outlet, and then through the Nebulizer. The main air flow into and out of the air compressor unit is illustrated in Figure 1 below.

Before using this product, make sure you have the following items:
1x Main Device (Compressor), 1x Nebulizer, 1x Flexible Tubing, 2x Masks (Adult mask & Pediatric mask), 1x Mouth Piece, 5x Air Filter.
INSERTMENT
To pour in medication into the nebulizer, do the following:
- Open the cap
- Fill the cup with medication as prescribed by your physician. Be sure that the medication does not exceed the liquid site line of 6 ml (6 cc).
- Close the cap.
- Connect the mouthpiece.
Note: The mouthpiece is to be used for oral inhalation only.

This device is for continuous use.
To operate the nebulizer, do the following:
• Plug in the air compressor, but do not connect the nebulizer.
• Make sure that the air filter is attached to the air compressor.
• Turn on the power switch.
- After the air compressor runs properly for 1-2 minutes, connect the jet outlet of the air compressor to the inlet of the Nebulizer by the air hose.
- Begin treatment according to your physician's instructions. Inhale and exhale naturally. Be sure to stop when the medication is completed.
- When you have completed use, turn the air compressor unit off before you disconnect the air hose.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
To keep your Nebulizer working properly, after each use do the following:
- After you have disconnected the air hose, disconnect the mouthpiece.
- Open the cap and empty the cup. Wash the Nebulizer with running water or soak in warm water for 15 minutes. For a more thorough, hygienic cleaning, add some vinegar in the water. NOTE: Do not boil the nebulizer. Doing so could damage it.
- Dry the nebulizer kit completely before storing it.
SAFETY INFORMATION
- Make sure the nebulizer kit is correctly assembled, the air filter is properly installed, and the air tube is correctly connected to the compressor and the nebulizer kit. Air may leak from the air tube during use if not securely connected.
- Inspect the compressor (main unit) and the nebulizer parts each time before using the device. Make sure no parts are damaged, the nozzle and air tube are not blocked and the compressor operates normally.
- Do not use the device if the air tube is bent.
- Do not block the air filter cover.
- Do not alter the nozzle in the medication cup or any part of the nebulizer kit.
- Do not add more than 5ml of medication to the medication cup.
- Do not operate the device at temperatures greater than +104°F (+40°C).
- Do not tilt the nebulizer kit so the angle of the kit is greater than 45^ . Medication may flow into the mouth.
- Do not shake the nebulizer kit while using the device.
- Do not subject the compressor or any of the components to strong shocks, such as dropping on the floor.
- This device is approved for human use only.
- Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the device or components.
- Operate the device only as intended. Do not use the device for any other purpose.
- Dispose of the device, components and optional accessories according to applicable local regulations. Unlawful disposal may cause environmental pollution.
- Use only Kardioline authorized parts and accessories. Parts and accessories not approved for use with the device may damage the unit.
- Changes or modification not approved by Kardioline will void the user warranty.
- Do not plug or unplug the power cord into the electrical outlet with wet hands.
- Do not immerse the compressor (main unit) in water or other liquid.
- Do not spill water or other liquids on the compressor and power cord.
- The compressor and power cord are not waterproof. If liquid spills on these parts, immediately unplug the power cord and wipe off the liquid with gauze or other soft absorbent material.
- Do not use or store the device in humid locations, such as a bathroom. Use the device within the operating temperature and humidity.
- Do not use a cellular phone near the device. It may result in an operational failure.
- Do not overload power outlets. Plug the device into an outlet with the appropriate voltage.
- Do not use extension cords. Plug the power cord directly into the electrical outlet.
- Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet after using or before cleaning the device.
- Keep the device out of the reach of unsupervised infants and children. The device may contain small parts that can be swallowed.
- Do not leave the cleaning solution in the nebulizer parts. Rinse the nebulizer parts with clean hot tap water after disinfecting.
- Wash the nebulizer parts after each use. Dry the parts immediately after washing.
- Do not store the air tube with moisture or medication remaining in the air tube.
