IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General
- Read this manual before first use thoroughly. It contains important information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance of the equipment. Keep these instructions for future reference and pass it on with the device.
- Pay particular attention to the warnings on the device and in this instruction manual.
- Use the device only for its intended purpose. Improper use may lead to hazards.
- This device is designed for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial use.
- In the event of improper use or wrong operation, we do not accept any liability for resulting damages.
- The use of accessories and components not expressly recommended by the manufacturer may result in injuries or damages and voids the warranty.
- This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and / or lack of knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the device.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. - Never leave the device unsupervised while it is switched on.
- Do not place heavy objects on top of the device.
- Never immerse electrical parts of the device in water during cleaning or operation. Never hold the device under running water.
- Do not under any circumstances attempt to repair the device yourself. For servicing and repairs, please consult an authorized dealer or qualified customer service centre.
- This device should not be operated with an external clock timer or separate remote control system.
Power supply
- The mains voltage must match the information on the rating label of the device.
- The power plug is used as the disconnect device. Please be sure that the power plug is in operable condition.
- Only removing the power plug can separate the device completely from the mains supply.
- Avoid damages to the power cord that may be caused by kinks or contact with sharp corners.
- Make sure, the device, including power cord and power plug are not exposed to hot surfaces.
- Only unplug from the power outlet by the plug itself. Do not pull on the cord.
- Disconnect the power plug when the device is not in use, in case of malfunctions, prior to attaching or removing accessories and prior to each cleaning.
- If the power cord or the casing of the device is damaged or if the device is dropped, the device may not be used before it is examined by a professional electrician.
- A damaged power cord may only be replaced by the manufacturer or a workshop commissioned by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Installation location
- Place the device on a flat, sturdy and heat-resistant surface.
- Take care to provide sufficient air circulation. Allow a minimum distance of 10 cm from other objects or walls.
- Do not use this device near or below flammable materials such as curtains. Please be sure to keep a sufficient safe distance from flammable materials.
- Use this device in dry indoor areas only and never outdoors.
- Warning: Do not use this device near water or heavy moisture; e.g. in a damp basement or beside a swimming pool or bathtub.
- In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the device to fire (fireplace, grill, candles, cigarettes and so on) or water (water drops, water splashes, vases, tubs, ponds and so on).
- Keep this device away from all heat sources like for example, ovens, hot plates and other heat-producing devices/objects.
- Protect this device from extreme heat (over 35°C) and cold (under 5°C) as well as from direct sunlight and dust.
Specific safety instructions
- Caution! Risk of Burns! When in use, the temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high. Use only the door release intended for opening and closing the device. Never touch the glass door or the heating elements inside the oven. Keep small children away from the device.
- To prevent damage, do not let the glass door come in contact with water while it is still hot.
- Never cover the device while in use.
- To avoid injury, exercise caution when removing hot items from the device.
- Parts of the device become very hot. Unplug the power cord and allow the device to cool sufficiently before inserting or removing accessories, and before cleaning or storing.
- Clean the device and other accessories after each use. Refer to the Chapter CLEANING AND CARE.
- Never use solvents or abrasive cleansers, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects to clean the glass door. They may damage or even destroy the glass door.

Intened Use
- The device is intended for food preparation only. Any other use may damage the device or cause injury.
Unpacking and checking
- Carefully take the device and its accessories out of the packaging. Retain the packaging in case you would like to store the device away or transport it at a later date. If you choose to dispose of the packaging, then please do so according to the applicable legal regulations.
- Check the packaging contents for completeness and damages. Should the contents in the packaging not be complete or be damaged, do not use the device. Return it to your retail outlet immediately.
Preparation
- Place the device on a level, stable and heat resistant surface.
- Remove the accessories from the device. Clean all parts which may come in contact with food before using the device. Refer to chapter CLEANING AND CARE.
- Clean the interior of the device with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
- To remove any production related residue, we recommend the following procedure.
- Make sure there are no accessories or food items in the device. Connect the power plug to a suitable outlet.
- Set the heating mode dial (5) to position
- Use the convection switch (7) to turn on the convection function.
- Set the temperature selection dial (3) to 250°C.
- Set the timer dial (6) to ca. 15 minutes. The device will begin to heat up. A slight odour may develop during first use. It will dissipate shortly. Make sure to provide good ventilation.
- Unplug the device after use and let it cool down completely.
- Insert the crumb tray (11) below the heating element (Fig.1).

Temperature selection dial
- Using the temperature selection dial (3), select the desired temperature (between 100°C and 250°C).
- Turn the temperature selection dial, until the marking on the dial points to the desired temperature.
- The temperature control lamp (4) will light up as soon as the cooking time has been selected with the timer dial (6). It indicates that the device is heating.
- As soon as the operating temperature is reached, the control lamp will turn off. During operation, the control lamp will turn on and off at intervals. This indicates that the operating temperature is maintained at a constant level.
Selecting the heating mode
- Select the desired heating mode by turning the heating mode dial (5) to the desired position.

Device is turned off.

Broil: The broiler element is operating and heats from the top down.

Bake: The bake element heats from the bottom up.

Broil and bake: The oven heats from both top and bottom.
Timer dial
- Choose the desired cooking time (minutes) using the timer dial (6). The maximum to be selected is 60 minutes.
- The dial of the timer turns counterclockwise to the OFF position. When the timer dial (6) reaches the OFF position, the device shuts off automatically accompanied by a signal tone.
- To turn off the device before the end of the selected cooking time, turn the timer dial (6) to the OFF position.
Convection
- The device is equipped with a convection function, which may be activated when needed by using the convection switch (7)
- The convection function is ideally suited for preparing cakes, meat dishes and baked potatoes.
- Use this function also when preparing several dishes at the same time, i.e. on the lower and upper racks of the oven.
Notes for operation
- Make sure that food cannot come into contact with the heating element (10).
- For best results, preheat the oven (especially when grilling or baking).
- Cooking time depends on the quality of the food, the temperature and individual taste. The time recommended in the recipes is meant as an example and does not include preheating.
- For frozen foods, check the cooking times recommended on the package.
Preparation in the oven
- Some examples suitable for preparation in the oven include pizza, lasagna, gratin, small poultry, fish or cake.
- Insert the baking tray (13) or the grilling rack (12) into the lower guides.
- Set the heating mode dial (5) to position
- Select the necessary temperature and cooking time.
- Wait until the selected temperature is reached. The temperature control lamp (4) will turn off.
- Place your food in the oven.
- If needed, activate the convection function with the convection switch (7)
- Should the food be ready before the selected cooking time has run out, turn the timer dial (6) to the OFF position.
- Caution! The baking tray (13) or the grilling rack (12) is very hot. Use the handle (16) to remove the baking tray or the grilling rack from the oven.
Grilling with the grilling rack
- Some examples suitable for use with the grilling function include sausage, cutlets, and many fish and meat dishes.
- Open the glass door (1) with the door release (9) and insert the grilling rack (12) into the upper guides.
- Insert the baking tray (13) into the guides under the grilling rack to prevent dripping fat from contaminating the heating element (10).
- Set the heating mode dial (5) to position
- Select the temperature and grilling time.
- Preheat the oven for about 5 minutes.
- Place the food to be grilled on the rack. Turn the food at half time or as desired.
- Caution! The baking tray (13) or the grilling rack (12) is very hot. Use the handle (16) to remove the baking tray or the grilling rack from the oven.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Grilling with the rotisserie
- Use the rotisserie for foods like grilled chicken or other grilled poultry, pork or veal roasts.
- Insert the meat onto the spit rod (15) and hold it in place with the skewers.
- Use a heat resistant and food safe cotton string to tie the meat securely. Make sure no meat can come in contact with the heating element (10) when the spit turns.
- Insert the spit rod into the socket (2) in the device.
- First insert the right end of the rod into the socket located on the right side of the oven interior, then place the other end of the rod on the left mounting.
- Make sure the meat cannot come in contact with the heating element (10).
- Insert the baking tray (13) into the guides under the rotisserie to prevent dripping fat from contaminating the heating element (10).
- Set the heating mode dial (5) to position
• Using the rotisserie switch (8) to turn on the rotisserie. - Select the temperature and grilling time.
• Preheat the oven for about 5 minutes. - Caution! Grilling food and rotisserie parts are very hot. Use the handle for the spit rod (14) to remove it from the oven.
Baking
- The heating mode bake is best for things like cakes, fruit flans and quiches.
- Insert the baking tray (13) or the grilling rack (12) into the lower guides.
- Set the heating mode dial (5) to position
- Select the temperature and baking time.
- Wait until the selected temperature is reached. The temperature control lamp (4) will go out.
- Put your food into the oven.
- If needed, use the convection switch (7) to activate the convection function.
- Should the food be ready before the selected cooking time has run out, turn the timer dial (6) to the OFF position.
- Caution! The baking tray (13) or the grilling rack (12) is very hot. Use the removable handle (16) to take the baking tray or the grilling rack from the oven.
Keeping food warm
- Insert the grilling rack (12) into the lower guides and place the food in the oven.
- Set the heating mode dial (5) to position
- Select a temperature of 100^ C using the temperature selection dial (3). Select the desired time with the timer dial (6).
- If you want to keep food warm for longer then 20 minutes, protect it from dehydration by wrapping it in aluminum foil. Don't leave food in the oven for too long.
CLEANING AND CARE, TECHNICAL DATA
Cleaning and care
- Disconnect the power plug from the outlet and let the device cool down completely before cleaning.
- Never use solvents or abrasive cleansers, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects to clean. Solvents are hazardous to your health and damage plastic parts; abrasive cleansers and scouring tools scratch surfaces
- Clean grilling rack (12), baking tray (13), and spit rod (15) immediately after use with warm water and a little detergent, then wipe them dry.
- Remove the crumb tray (11) from the device regularly, and remove any crumbs. If heavily soiled, wipe the crumb tray with a damp cloth. Take care to re-insert the crumb tray correctly.
- Clean the exterior surfaces and the oven cavity with a damp cloth and wipe them dry afterward.
- Clean the glass door (1) with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly before using the oven again.
- Never immerse the device in water or other fluids when cleaning. Never hold the device under running water.

Our service partner requires proof of purchase, either as original receipt or cash receipt printed by the seller to perform warranty repairs. The serial number on the device must also be readable. We are unable to perform warranty services free of charge without proof of purchase. We recommend keeping the original packaging in order to ensure safe transport of the device in case of a warranty claim.
Warranty repairs may be performed exclusively by E2 Servicecenter GmbH or contractual partners authorised by it. Repairs performed by the customer or other shops void the warranty; a claim for cost reimbursement does not exist. The warranty is void or does not cover:

The warranty does not include any subsequent liability on our part, in particular no liability for damages to the device itself or incurred by the loss of the device until the time of repair (e.g. travel costs, handling costs, etc.). However, this does not limit or exclude our statutory warranty, in particular pursuant to the Product Liability Act.
Any warranty services provided by us do not extend the warranty term of 3 years as of the date of purchase, also not in terms of possibly exchanged components.
