1. Proper use

This electric warming device gently warms your feet. The treatment will support blood circulation and therefore enhances the relaxation of tight muscles as well as your overall well-being. Enjoy the cozy warmth at any time and any place.

The device is intended exclusively for domestic use, not for commercial applications or the use in hospitals or medical offices.

In order to be able to utilize all the benefits of your electric warming device, please thoroughly read these instructions and observe the notes on care and safety. You will then be able to enjoy this device for a long time.

Please store these instructions for further use or in case you hand this device over to another person.

2. Safety information

Danger

- This device uses supply voltage. Therefore, the same safety regulations apply as for any other electric device.

- Operate the device only with the stated supply voltage.

- Inspect that all components of the device are in a faultless condition prior to each start-up of the device. In the event of a defect or a malfunction, switch the device off immediately and disconnect the power plug from the power network. Repairs must be performed exclusively by authorized customer service technicians. Never open the device. The individual components of this device may not be disassembled, repaired or modified.

- Use the device only in dry rooms and with a dry body – never in the bathtub, shower, above filled sinks, in pools, saunas, or outdoors.

- Never operate the device too close to other heat sources.

- Do not pull the power cord across sharp edges.

- Do not pull on the cord or the device to disconnect the power plug or transport the device.

- Disconnect the power plug if the device is not in use.

- If you dispose of the device at any one point in time, please cut off the cable to make it useless.

- This device may not be used by persons (to include children) with physical, sensory, or mental disabilities or by persons with insufficient experience or knowledge, unless such persons use the device under the supervision of a responsible person or after receiving necessary instructions.

- Please ensure that children do not use the device as a toy.

- Disconnect the device from the power network prior to cleaning it.

During cleaning, ensure that no liquids come into contact with the switch and buttons and that the device is used only in an

absolutely dry condition.

- Do not insert any needles or pointy objects into the heat unit.

Warnings

• Please consult a physician prior to using the device if you suffer from an illness (e.g. varicose veins, thrombosis, etc.).
• Never use the device with open wounds, burns, hematoma, swellings, or similar conditions.
• Stop treatment if it feels uncomfortable to you. Heat-sensitive persons in particular should use the device with care and stop the treatment in a timely manner.
  • Never use the heat device on animals.
• The use of this device at maximum heat setting for a long period of time can lead to burns of the skin.
• If the device is to be used continuously for a long period of time, the control must be set to the lowest position.
  • Outdoor shoes must be removed before use.

Attention

- In order to ensure the proper functionality of the operating element (thermostat), do not place it on top of or underneath the heat unit.

Do not cover the thermostat with other objects.

- Never use the heat device if it is folded, wrinkled, or pushed together.

3. Description of the device and operating elements

4. Start-up operation

Important

This heating device is equipped with an integrated thermostat, which regulates the temperature automatically and keeps the heat at a constant level. The temperature of the heating device corresponds to the maximum permissible value of the applicable IEC regulation regarding user safety. The device generates a mild heat that does not have any harmful effect.

Place the lining in the cover. Ensure that the power cord and the thermostat are outside of the device. Before switching the device on, please ensure that the operating element is in the "OFF" position. Then insert the power plug into the power outlet.

5. Temperature setting

Use the thermostat to set the desired temperature. The heating device switches on automatically when the thermostat is set to a temperature, and the corresponding LED light will light up. The foot warmer shuts off and the LED light goes out if the thermostat is set to "OFF".

6. Automatic off

The electric foot warmer shuts off automatically after 90 minutes of continuous use. This saves energy and provides additional safety, because the foot warmer is never used without supervision. The LED light will blink. In order to switch the foot warmer back on, first set the thermostat to "OFF" and then back to the desired temperature.

After use please disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.

7. Cleaning and care

Lining

The lining can be cleaned in the washing machine. Please observe the notes on the labels and the laundry care symbols of the lining.

• Machine or hand-wash at 30°C
- Wash separately or with similar colors.
- Do not bleach
• Iron on low temperature
• No chemical dry-cleaning
• Dry in dryer at low temperature (delicate)

Cover

• Never wash the interior part of the device.
- The electric heating device may never be cleaned in a washer nor with chemical agents or at the dry-cleaners.
• The heating device cannot be dried in a dryer.
- Never use the heating device while it is damp.
- The thermostat cannot come into contact with water under any circumstance. Never hold the heating device under running water and do not submerge it into any liquids! The moisture could damage the thermostat.

- The cleaning of the cover should be done with dry-cleaning methods, such as brushing or vacuum cleaning.

8. Storage and periodic inspection

• Do not wrinkle the device. Fold the product carefully for storage.
• Store the device at a dry location if it is not in use.
• Let the device cool off prior to folding or rolling it up.
• Inspect the device and power cord regularly for possible signs of wear or damage.
• Do not use chemical moth protection.
• Never place any heavy objects on top of the device as these could damage the electric wires.
• Please return the device to your point of sale in case of any wear or malfunction.

11. Disposal of used electronic devices

After its service life, please dispose of this device according to the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment 2002/96/EC (WEEE).

The symbol on the product or its packaging informs you that this product cannot be treated as normal

household waste, but must be returned at a collection point for recycling electronic and electrical devices.

13. Guarantee

SOEHNLE guarantees rectification of faults based on material or production errors, free of charge, either by repair or replacement, for 5 years as of the date of purchase. Please retain the receipt of purchase and guarantee slip. In case of a guarantee claim, please return the device, guarantee slip and receipt of purchase to your seller.
