How do I charge the SRP-505 battery?

Connect the radio to a USB port of a PC or a USB charger using the included micro USB to USB cable. The charge indicator (red) will light up and turn off when fully charged.

How to pair via Bluetooth?

Turn on the radio and set the mode selector to BT/MP3. If needed, press MODE button until Bluetooth mode is announced. On your device, search for 'SVEN SRP-500/SRP-505' and connect. A short beep confirms pairing.

What radio bands are supported?

The radio supports FM (87.5-108 MHz), AM (522-1600 kHz), and SW (shortwave, 9.5-18 MHz). Use the tuning knob to select stations.

What file systems and media are supported for MP3 playback?

The radio plays MP3 files from USB flash drives and microSD cards formatted in FAT32. Maximum capacity is 32 GB. Ultra Speed microSD cards are not recommended.

APPLICATION

SRP-500, SRP-505 portable radios are designed to receive radio stations in the FM/AM/SW band, play MP3 files from USB/microSD media formatted in FAT32 format.

Attention! The built-in battery must be charged completely prior to the application.

Battery charging

• Connect radio to a USB port of PC or USB charger using micro USB to USB cable (included). During battery charging the indicator ⑫ is red. Indicator ⑫ goes out when the battery is charged.
• The battery is used in the radio as an integral part of the device, therefore do not try to extract or replace it, because this can result in the warranty cancellation or the device damage.

OPERATION MODES

Bluetooth mode

• Wireless data transfer via the Bluetooth protocol enables to connect radio to compatible devises. Maximum radius of action of data transfer is 10 m. Such obstacles as walls or other electronic devices can interfere with the signal transfer.
• Turn on the radio and select Bluetooth mode. To do this, move the mode selection knob ⑥ to the highest position. If necessary (switching from USB/microSD), additionally press the MODE ③ button on the front panel, a sound confirmation of the selected mode will be heard.
• It is necessary to select the search mode of devices with Bluetooth on a signal source (telephone, notebook, smartphone, etc.). «SVEN SRP-500/SRP-505» massage will be displayed on the screen which is to be connected to*.
• When connection is successful, there will be a short beep**.

Player mode

Attention! The file system of a micro SD carrier is FAT32. Maximum volume is 32 GB. It is not recommended to use the micro SD Ultra Speed.

- Insert the USB flash or micro SD carrier into appropriate slot, if the radio is in turned on position and MUSIC mode is on, the playback will start automatically. Playback/Pause modes are switched over with the help of the button ④. Tracks can be controlled by buttons ① (previous track) and ② (next track).

Radio mode

- Turn on device. Select the desired range with switch ⑥. When receiving an SW/FM band expand the telescopic antenna. Use the tuning knob ⑤ to select the desired station.
