Clock radio with Bluetooth

Important Notes

  • Safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.

Power on clock radio

Insert the AC/DC adaptor into any 230V AC household outlet. Then insert the DC jack into the backside of the unit. The display will light up and be ready to work. Short press the standby button to enter radio or standby mode; long press the standby button to power off (display off) / on the unit.

Backup battery installation

The radio requires 1 x CR2025 type battery (not included) to provide backup power for setting memory in the event of a temporary power interruption.

Place the unit face down on a flat and soft surface; use a coin to turn the battery cover anticlockwise at the back of the unit; insert one new CR2025 battery into the battery compartment observing the “+” polarity facing upward; replace the battery cover and turn clockwise to lock it. The time and all settings will be kept in case of AC power interruption, but the backup battery is available.

Please kindly dispose of the power-exhausted battery in an environmentally friendly way according to your local government requirements. Make sure a fresh CR2025 battery is used, and a fresh battery could backup clock continuously for around 3 weeks.

Display brightness adjustment/Dimmer: long press (2 seconds) the mode button repeatedly to switch and select the display brightness between high/low/off level.

Clock time setting: In standby mode, short press the set button to select 12/24 hours format. Long press (2 seconds) the set button to start time setting procedure, and the hour digits will flare on display. Press previous/next button to adjust the desired hour, press and hold it to accelerate the adjustment in high speed. Short press play/pause button to confirm and skip to minute setting. Press previous/next button to adjust it, then press play/pause button to finish it.

Alarm setting: In standby mode, long press (2 seconds) alarm1 button to start alarm setting procedure, and the hour digits will flare on display. Press previous/next button to adjust the desired hour, press and hold it to accelerate the adjustment in high speed. Short press play/pause button to confirm and skip to minute setting. By using the same method to finish the rest setting for minute/alarm source/alarm volume (between 15~30 level) selection, and press play/pause button to finish it. Short press alarm1 button to turn on the alarm1. A bell1 icon will show on the right top corner of display, which means the alarm1 is working now.

Alarm on/off: You need to turn on the alarm after finishing the alarm setting. Press alarm1 or alarm2 button repeatedly can turn on or off alarm1 and alarm2. Please make sure the relevant alarm icon LED will light on display after your selection.

Alarming and snooze: When unit is sounding due to the alarm time being, press the standby button to cancel the voice, and will wake up again at the same time of next day; if you rotate the volume knob, there will activate the snooze function. The alarm will silence temporarily and wake up again after 9 minutes. Rotate the volume knob again can check the remained snooze time on display; Press down the volume knob can cancel the snooze function.

Note:

  1. The alarm2 setting procedure is similar to alarm1, but long press (2 seconds) alarm1 button for starting.
  2. The unit will exit the clock or alarm setting mode when no key pressed in approximately 5 seconds.
  3. If your second alarm activates while the first alarm is sounding or it is in the snooze mode, the second alarm overrides the first alarm (the first alarm will reset to come on the next day).
  4. The alarm only works when the DC/AC power adaptor is connected. Please double check the alarm setting in case of power interrupted.
  5. The alarm voice duration time is 1 hour. FM radio and buzz is available to select as alarm source.

Radio operation

Before listening to the radio, please fully extend the antenna and move the unit next to the window in order to get better FM reception. Short press the standby button to turn on/off the radio. Rotate the volume knob to adjust the output volume level.

All-in-one scan (auto scan and save as preset stations): Long press (2 seconds) the play/pause button to scan and save available stations automatically, up to 60 preset stations. Short press the previous/next button to select and switch preset stations. Short press the play/pause button to mute the sound; press it again to resume output.

Auto tune: Long press (2 seconds) the previous or next button to auto tune to the next available station in the upward or downward frequency direction, and play it automatically.

Manual memory station: First, short press the set button. Then, press the previous or next button repeatedly and immediately to tune step by step in 0.1 MHz increments. When you find a favorite station, short press the set button again immediately, and the current station will be saved automatically. The preset station numbers will be assigned in order from low to high radio frequency.

Repeat the above operation to manually save other stations.

Remove noise or weak preset station: Long press the set button (2 seconds) to remove the currently playing preset station, and the next preset will move forward to replace it.

Bluetooth operation

This product includes Bluetooth functionality, which allows wireless playback of music from other Bluetooth devices (such as smartphones, tablets, etc.).

  1. Press the standby button to power on the unit, and short press the mode button to enter Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth symbol will flash on the display, indicating the unit is ready to pair.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for available devices (refer to your device's manual for operation). Then, check the list of available Bluetooth devices. Select "BP CR60" for pairing. The Bluetooth symbol will become steady on the display after successful pairing.
  3. Select and play music from your Bluetooth device. Adjust the volume level on both your device and the radio, and the sound will play wirelessly through the speaker.
  4. Press the previous/next button to select the previous or next track; press the play/pause button to play or pause playback. Long press (2 seconds) the play/pause button to disconnect the current Bluetooth device, but the unit will remain ready to pair with another device.

Notices:

  1. Due to different designs and brands, not all Bluetooth devices are guaranteed to pair successfully.
  2. The optimal working distance for Bluetooth is within 10 meters without any obstacles in between.
  3. The unit can only pair and work with one Bluetooth device at a time.
  4. If there is an incoming phone call during Bluetooth playback, the music will temporarily stop and resume after the call ends.

Sleep: In audio mode (FM radio or Bluetooth), short press the sleep button repeatedly to cycle through sleep times: 5/10/15/30/60/off. Select your desired sleep time and keep it for a while to activate the sleep function. The unit will automatically turn off and switch to standby mode when the sleep time elapses. Press and hold the sleep button to check the remaining sleep time on the display.

Troubleshooting

  1. The speaker cannot turn on.

a. Please check if the power connection is correct.

  1. No sound output.

a. Please try adjusting the volume knob and check the play source.

b. If the issue persists, please contact the service center for support.

  1. Background noise on FM station.

a. Try moving the unit to another location for better reception.

b. Scan and switch to another station for listening.

  1. Intermittent sound output in Bluetooth mode
