How to replace the projector lamp?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Wait for the lamp to cool down. Open the lamp compartment with a screwdriver, remove the old lamp and insert the new one. Close and reset the lamp counter in the menu.

How to clean the air filter?

Use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to remove dust from the filter. If very dirty, wash with warm water and let dry completely before replacing. Clean every 1000 hours of use.

Why is the image blurry?

Check the focus by turning the lens ring. Ensure the projection distance is correct. If blurriness persists, clean the lens with a soft cloth.

How to connect an HDMI device?

Connect an HDMI cable between the source device (PC, Blu-ray player) and the HDMI input of the projector. Select the HDMI source via the Source button on the remote control or control panel.

My projector won't turn on, what should I do?

Check that the power cord is properly connected and the outlet works. Wait for the lamp indicator to turn off before restarting. If the problem persists, contact Optoma support.

What is the projection distance for a 100-inch image?

With the lens at wide-angle position, the distance is approximately 2.5 meters. Use the distance calculator in the manual for specific sizes.

Can the projector play 3D content?

Yes, the EH400+ is 3D ready. You need to use DLP-Link 3D glasses and a compatible emitter. Enable 3D mode in the display menu.

How to adjust keystone correction?

Go to the menu, Image section, then Keystone correction. Use the directional keys to adjust vertically and horizontally. You can also enable automatic correction.

What to do if the remote control doesn't work?

Check the batteries and their orientation. Point the remote at the IR sensor on the front of the projector. Move away interfering light sources. If necessary, use the buttons on the control panel.

How to update the firmware?

Download the latest firmware from the Optoma website onto a FAT32 USB drive. Insert the drive into the projector's USB port, go to Menu > Settings > Firmware update and follow the on-screen instructions.
