How do I pair the Lamax Dots2 with my phone?

Open the charging case, remove the earbuds. They will enter pairing mode automatically. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and select "Lamax Dots2" from the list. If prompted, confirm pairing.

How do I reset the Dots2 earbuds?

Place both earbuds in the charging case and keep the lid open. Press and hold the touch panels on both earbuds for about 10 seconds until the LED flashes red and white. Close the lid and reopen to reconnect.

How long does the battery last and how to charge?

The earbuds last up to 4 hours on a single charge. The charging case provides an additional 16 hours. Charge the case via USB-C cable (included). The case LED indicates charging status.

Are the Dots2 earbuds water resistant?

Yes, they have an IPX4 rating, meaning they are resistant to sweat and light splashes. Do not submerge in water.

Can I use the earbuds independently?

Yes, you can use either earbud separately. Simply remove one earbud from the case and it will connect as mono.

How do I control music and calls?

Use touch controls: single tap to play/pause or answer/end call, double tap to skip forward, triple tap to skip backward, long press to adjust volume or reject call.

What if one earbud stops working or has low volume?

Clean the earbud mesh and charging contacts with a dry cloth. Ensure the earbud is fully charged. Reset the earbuds if the issue persists.

How do I replace the ear tips?

Gently pull off the old ear tip from the earbud nozzle and push on a new one of appropriate size. Choose the size that fits your ear best for optimal sound and comfort.

Are the Dots2 compatible with all smartphones?

What to do if the earbuds do not charge?

The Ground Truth image displays a single, solid horizontal line. According to Rule 2 (UNDERSCORE & LINE RULES), if the GT contains lines used for stylistic emphasis or as background elements (like ruled paper), the OCR result must ignore them. The line in the GT is clearly a stylistic or background line, not a placeholder for text. Therefore, the OCR should not have output any underscores. Outputting `____` constitutes an error under Rule 2, as it hallucinates placeholder symbols where none are semantically intended. Hence, the OCR result is inconsistent with the Ground Truth.

Switching On

The earphones turn on automatically when removed from the charging station. To switch on manually, press and hold the multifunction button for 3 seconds. You must manually turn on both earphones separately. When switched on, there is an audible sound and the white LED flashes.

Switching Off

The earphones turn off automatically when inserted into the charging station. To turn off manually, hold the multifunction button on one of the earphones for 3 seconds. When switched off, an audible notification sounds and the red LED flashes.

Pairing

1. Remove the earphones from the charging station. The earphones will automatically connect to each other and an audible notification will sound. The left earphone is the main one, and ready for pairing is indicated by alternating blinking of white and red LEDs.

2. Turn on Bluetooth on your device and look for LAMAX Dots2 in the list of available Bluetooth devices. After successful pairing you will hear an audible notification.

For pairing problems, remove the earphones from the paired devices list on your phone. Turn off the earphones manually and hold the multifunction button for 5 seconds until both earphones blink alternately red and white, then insert them into the charging station and pair as described in 1.

Charging

To charge the charging station, connect the cable to the USB-C port on the back and the end of the cable into a USB power supply with a maximum voltage of 5V. When charging, the LEDS will light up gradually according to the charge status. When fully charged, all 4 LEDs will be lit.

You can also charge the charging station with a Qi-compatible wireless charger.

To charge the earphones, insert them into a charged charging station. The LED light in the headphones flashes twice and then turns red during charging. When fully charged, it goes out.
