IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully.
- This appliance may only be connected to the same main voltage as shown on the rating plate.
- To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse or rinse housing, cord or plug in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.

BEFORE USING THE TOASTER FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Open the window and operate the toaster three times on the highest setting without any bread.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE USE OF THIS TOASTER
- Take care not to scratch or otherwise damage the metal housing with any hard object or to bang it against a sharp edge.
- Do not place the toaster on a hot surface or use it in the proximity of a source of heat (e.g. hotplate on cooker)
- Do not place slices of bread or bread rolls directly onto the toaster housing or the slot itself-the toaster could be damaged.
- The toaster cannot be used while it is tilted at an angle or lying on its side.
- Do not poke around inside the toast slot with your fingers or with a metal object.
- When you are warming rolls on the rack, do not place slices of bread in the toast slot at the same time.
- Do not cover the toaster slot.
- Do not place aluminium foil over the bread roll rack in order to defrost frozen food.
HOW TO USE THE TOASTER
Making toast
- Plug the toaster into the mains socket.
- Set the required degree of toasting by adjusting the position of the selector button.
- Turn a button as follows:
7= darker
1 = lighter
- Insert the slices of bread.
- Press the ON/High-left switch down as far as it will go the slices of bread are lowered into the toaster. The bread is automatically controlled inside toast slot.
- The toaster switches off automatically when the appropriate time comes to an end. The slices of toast are raised out of the slot.
- Using "Defrost" by pressing the button to prolong the button cooking time of frozen bread. (the "Defrost" LED indicator will light when this function is in program)
- Using "Re-Heat" by pressing the button to warm the toast without over browning. (The "Re-Heat" LED indicator will light when this function is in program)
- Using the ON/High-left button by pulling it upright tenderly to raise the small size toast out off slot.
- Press the STOP button if the toast is too dark or a fault occurs.
- The Power Indicator will be light when the Toaster is switched on and will be off when the "STOP" button is pressed or the appropriate browning time comes to an end.
Detachable bread roll rack
- Put the rack on top of slot properly by holding the handles and be ensure the rack is set tightly, then put the rolls on the metal grids and switch on the toaster.
• Never touch the metal grids when they are hot - The bread rolls should not protrude beyond the sides of the rack by more than 1cm.
What do you need to know about bread slices / rolls?
- The type of bread, its moisture content, age, thickness and number of slices all have an effect on the degree of toasting.
- If you are going to toast two slices of bread side by side, they should therefore be the same type of bread, have the same moisture content and be of the same age. (Whenever possible bread should be kept wrapped.)
• The overall thickness of the bread should not exceed 3 cm. - The toaster can be used with any bread, cakes and pastries with no topping, including frozen products.
Very thin slices
- Will not be centered automatically.
- Should be toasted on the lowest setting in order to avoid them becoming burnt
• Always store slices bread intended for toasting in a dry location. - Keep the bread in a sealed wrapper.
• Darker types of bread generally need to be toasted at a higher setting than white bread. - To obtain particularly light bread rolls. Spray a little water onto them before they are placed on the toaster. The rolls should be turned over 1-2 times.
How to clean the toaster
• Pull out the mains plug and wait for the toaster to cool down.
- Remove and empty the crumb tray.
- Use a stiff brush to remove any burnt-on crumbs.
- Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth.
- Do not use a sharp object of abrasive substance to clean the toaster.
- Do not immerse the toaster in water or put it in a dishwasher.
- Be sure there is no any foreign parts like cloth, brush etc. or the liquid like water left in the slot and crumb tray after cleaning.

Under this guarantee the manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any parts found to be defective, providing the product is brought back to the purchase address. This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been used in accordance with the instructions, and provided that it has not been modified, repaired or interfered with by any unauthorised person, or damaged through misuse.
This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and tear, nor breakables such as ceramic items, bulbs etc. If the product fails to operate and needs to be returned, pack it carefully, enclosing your name and address and the reason for return and bring it to the address of purchase.
