Grain Mill

The grain mill is designed for grinding small quantities of flours for feeding chickens, cows, or pigs (it can grind corn, rice, barley, oats, rye, wheat, millet, pepper, and other grains). Due to its powerful motor and solid construction, the grain mill can also be used for alimentary purposes to grind sugar, salt, or other granular products.

SAFETY REGULATIONS

In order to avoid accidents, it is necessary to pay attention to the information below:

• The acoustic pressure level is around 50-60dB while working, so wear earmuffs for long operation times.
• When the Grain mill has finished grinding, ensure the product switch is turned off immediately and disconnect the plug from the switch.
• Do not carry out any cleaning or maintenance while the motor is working, and never with the plug connected.

- Do not use the Grain mill in the rain or in spaces with high humidity, or in the presence of flammable gases or liquids. Never use the Grain mill with wet hands.

4. Before starting the Grain mill, make sure the hopper is filled with proper dried seeds (no wet seeds admitted to be milled).
5. Grain mill should be stable after point 2, plug the crusher into electricity.
6. Push the on/off button and start the milling process.
7. After milling, push the STOP button and only then open the metal ring and remove the milled product from the bucket. DO NOT open the metal ring while the mill is working.
8. If you want to change the mesh, UNPLUG the Mill. DO NOT change the mesh with the Mill plugged or working!
9. Do not keep the Grain mill ON after finishing the milling.

MAINTENANCE

Every-time maintenance must be done with the motor powered off and the electric cable unplugged from the switch.

Before performing any maintenance or check operations, clean the working area, use protective gloves, and ensure tools are in good condition.

After every use, it is recommended to clean the inside parts of the grain mill.
- Every 10 hours of working, check the tightness of all screws, inspect the hammer, and ensure the input cable is in good condition.
- Every 50 hours of working, check the rotating parts to ensure they are in good shape and rotating without noise.

• Every 200 hours, replace the hammer if needed, clean the inside of the grain mill and motor with a fan and a pressure air compressor to remove dust, and check the rotation manually to ensure smooth operation.

TROUBLES-SOLUTIONS

If the grain mill stops working by itself, you should check one of the following reasons:

• The motor may have overheated. You need to wait for it to cool down before restarting.
• The thermal protection may have stopped the motor due to hard-working conditions. Wait for it to cool and restart the grain mill.
• The milling product may contain foreign objects. Before opening the mill, UNPLUG and stop the machine. Ensure that no foreign objects are in the material you are milling.
