- Check the battery pack for damage before each operation. Do not use damaged battery packs.
- Only charge the battery pack with the approved chargers.
- Charge the battery pack according to the instructions before use
- Do not charge the battery pack for a long time and remove it from the device when not in use
- Do not subject the battery pack to mechanical stress.
- Do not submerge the battery pack under water.
- Do not store, charge or operate the battery pack in a wet or damp environment.
- Do not use the battery pack when it is wet or dirty. If the connectors of battery packs are dirty, clean them with a dry, clean cloth. Allow the battery pack and connectors to dry completely before use.
- Do not charge or use the battery pack in an explosive environment.
- Protect the battery pack from heat, sharp edges, oil, solvents, cleaning agents and moving device parts.
- Do not store in direct sunlight.
- Do not allow any metal parts to come into contact with the contacts of the battery pack. Do not store together with metal objects.
Do not short-circuit the contacts. -
Do not open the battery pack. Only allow repairs to be carried out by qualified personnel.

Do not dispose of the battery pack in a fire or in the household waste.
- Avoid contact with liquid leaking from defective rechargeable from defective batteries. Immediately flush the liquid rinse the liquid immediately with water. In the event of contact with the eyes, consult a doctor immediately.
- Remove the battery pack from the device before any maintenance and maintenance work from the device

Safety Instructions for Transport
The lithium-ion battery pack is subject to the requirements of hazardous materials legislation. The battery pack can be transported by the user in public traffic areas without any further requirements. When shipping by third parties (transport companies), observe the special requirements for packaging and labeling. Only ship the battery pack if the housing is undamaged. Tape off any exposed contacts. Pack the battery pack tightly and securely. The battery pack should not be able to move inside the packaging. Observe the national regulations.

Only charge undamaged battery packs. Modifications and changes modifications not authorized by the manufacturer are prohibited. Any other use is not permitted. Use the SEBO battery packs only with the suitable SEBO battery devices. Before use, always check that the technical data of the SEBO battery pack and charger or SEBO battery pack and device match.

Display
The battery pack is equipped with a lighted display (figure A, area 1) to indicate:
- Operating status
- State of charge
- Error messages
The display is active when the battery pack is switched on by the battery pack, the charger or by pressing the power-on key (Fig. A, area 2). The battery remains active for approx. 60 minutes after activation.

CAUTION!
A completely discharged battery will be blocked against deep discharge. If the battery reaches a capacity of 33% during charging (two LEDs light up, Fig. F), discharging is possible again in normal operation.
Charging Process
The display is activated during the charging process. New battery packs reach full capacity after approx. 5 charging and discharging cycles. Recharge battery packs that have not been used for a long time before use. It is not possible to charge the battery pack outside the permissible temperature values. The battery pack charger will then display an error. If the display does not show anything during the charging process, refer to the Error table below.
Operation
1 Slide the battery pack into the holder of the unit.
2 Remove the battery pack from the unit after use.
3 Charge partially discharged battery packs after use.
Storage
Store battery packs indoors only with low humidity and below 20 °C (68°F).
The battery pack display switches off automatically during storage.
Note:
New battery packs must be fully charged before they are used for the first time. This cancels the transport mode of the battery pack.

The charging socket of the rechargeable battery pack is located under the flap (Fig. A, area 3).
CAUTION:
Loose Battery Pack
Loose battery packs may result in risk of injury and damage.
Ensure that the battery pack snaps into place.
CAUTION
Humidity and Heat
Humidity and heat can cause risk of damage and limited storage time, recharging may be necessary.

Environmental Protection

Li-Ion batteries must not be disposed of with household waste and must be taken to appropriate collection points. Please observe the recommendations of the local authorities how to handle lithium-ion batteries.
