3. OPERATION
Preheating
- Close the grill and plug it into a mains socket. Then, turn the temperature knob clockwise to set the temperature according to your preferences and add time, approximately 10 minutes.
Please note
At first, try a medium setting. Later you can raise or lower the temperature as you wish. Please note that, depending on the type of food you want to cook, you will have to set one temperature or another.
- The grill will preheat for 3 to 5 minutes until the desired cooking temperature is reached. When the blue front light lights up, the grill is ready for use.
- Reset, then, the desired amount of time, as the initial amount of time of 10 minutes is used to allow the grill to preheat.
Contact grill mode
1) After preheating, set the temperature and time until the desired position.
2) Add food (hamburgers, boneless meat and thin cuts of meat or other food) on the bottom cooking plate.
3) Then, lower the upper cooking plate, which has a floating hinge designed to cook food evenly on both sides. The upper plate must be completely lowered to obtain the typical grill marks on the food.
4) When the food is ready, use the handle to open the grill. Remove the food with the help of a plastic spatula.
Warning
Never use metal tongs or knives to remove food, as these can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the plates.
Please note
You can adjust the height of the upper plate when closing to best suit the size of the food by using the closing and support clasp on the right side of the appliance. To do this, simply move it forwards or backwards, depending on the desired level, and check the height of the upper plate when you close it.
Open grill mode
1) Use the 180^ opening button to open the grill. You can find it located in figure 1 of the manual.
2) With your left hand, holding the handle, use your right hand to press the opening button. Push the handle back until the top of the product rests on the worktop.
Please note
The grill will remain in this position until you close the top cover again by doing the same process but turning the upper body backwards.
Please note
Cooking with the grill open is the most versatile way to use this appliance, as the grill has twice the cooking surface.
