Before using the appliance, read the following instructions carefully. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- It is your responsibility to make sure every user is informed about the warnings and precautions stated in this instruction manual.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and are under supervision.
- Keep this appliance and its power cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
- WARNING: if the surface breaks, turn off the appliance to avoid electric shock. Please handle the induction hob with care to avoid damage. If damaged, stop using the induction hob and contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
- Metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and covers must not be placed on the hob as they may become hot.
- This symbol means 'caution, hot surface'. The surface is susceptible to heat during use. Be careful.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- Never immerse the induction hob or its power cable in water or any other liquid.
- Always refer to the official Cecotec Technical Support Service for any task aside from cleaning and standard maintenance.
- People with cardiac pacemakers or similar medical devices should be kept away from the induction hob when connected to the power supply. If in any doubt, consult a medical practitioner before using this product to avoid any danger.
- This appliance is designed for indoor domestic use only. In case of professional use, inappropriate use, or failure to comply with these instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the warranty will not apply.
- Before using it for the first time, check that your mains supply voltage matches the one indicated on the appliance data plate. Any connection error will invalidate your warranty.
- The appliance must be connected to a socket outlet with an earth contact. Do not use a power adapter or connect any other appliance into the same socket simultaneously to avoid electrical overload and risk of fire.
- Given the diverse standards in effect, if the appliance is used in a country other than that in which it is purchased, have it checked by an approved service centre.
- Remove all packaging materials, stickers, and accessories from the inside and outside of the appliance.
- The appliance must be placed and used on a flat, stable, heat-resistant work surface, away from water splashes.
- Do not place or use this appliance in high humidity environments.
- Do not place or use the induction hob on steel or aluminium surfaces.
- Maintain a gap of at least 10 cm (4 inches) on all sides of the appliance to ensure adequate ventilation.
- Never place or use the appliance close to a wall or below a wall cupboard.
- Never place or use the induction hob below or close to easily inflammable objects (e.g., curtains).
- Never place or use the appliance on or close to a portable stove or other heat-producing appliances or surfaces.
- Fully unwind the power cable before use.
- Do not use an extension lead. Never leave the product, even for a few moments, while it is connected to the mains, especially if children are present.
- Do not leave the power cable hanging from places that are easily reachable by children.
- Keep the power cable away from the hot parts of the appliance or other heat sources and do not leave it resting on sharp edges.
- Take all necessary precautions to prevent anyone from tripping over the power cable.
- Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use.
- Never disconnect the plug by pulling from the power cable.
- Inspect the appliance and power cable for signs of wear or damage before connecting it to the power supply.
- Never move the appliance when it is hot.
- Allow the induction hob to cool down completely before cleaning and storing it.
- Always keep the induction hob clean to avoid dust from entering the fan motor and causing a malfunction.
- Should any part of the appliance catch fire, never try to extinguish the flames with water.

Instead, unplug the induction hob and smother the flames with a damp cloth.

Place the cookware at the centre of the cooking zone.
- Do not overheat an empty pan or pot during long periods of time.
- Do not heat the food in cans or other airtight containers to avoid explosions caused by air expansion.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION
Changing modes with the Mode icon
- Make sure the induction hob is switched on before changing modes.
- Locate the Mode icon on the control panel of the induction hob.
- To change modes, touch the Mode icon once: the hob will switch modes each time the Mode icon is touched.
- The indicator light of the corresponding mode will switch on upon selection.
- Keep touching the Mode icon until the indicator light of the desired mode lights up.
- Once the mode has been selected, you can start using the induction hob.

Hot Pot mode
- The power for Hot Pot mode is set to 1200 W by default.
- You can adjust the power to your needs from 300 to 2000 W.
Sauté mode
- The power for Sauté mode is set to 1600 W by default.
- You can adjust the power to your needs from 300 to 2000 W.
Frying mode
- The temperature for Frying mode is set to 160 °C by default.
- You can adjust the temperature to your needs from 60 to 240 °C.
Soup mode
- The time for Soup mode is set to 2 hours by default.
- You can adjust the timer to your needs from 0 to 3 hours.
- Long-touch the increase icon ⬆ to increase the time by 10 minutes. Long-touch the decrease icon ⬆ to decrease the time by 10 minutes.
- Short-touch the increase icon ⚙ to increase the time by 1 minute. Short-touch the decrease icon ⚙ to decrease the time by 1 minute.
Stew mode
- The time for Stew mode is set to 1,5 hours by default.
- You can adjust the timer to your needs from 0 to 3 hours.
- Long-touch the increase icon ⬆ to increase the time by 10 minutes. Long-touch the decrease icon ⬆ to decrease the time by 10 minutes.
- Short-touch the increase icon Ⓗ to increase the time by 1 minute. Short-touch the decrease icon Ⓜ to decrease the time by 1 minute.
Pancake mode
- The temperature for Pancake mode is set to 180 °C by default.
- You can adjust the temperature to your needs from 60 to 240 °C.
ENGLISH
ON/Standby mode
- Touch the ON/Standby icon to switch the induction hob on: the display will show ON.
- Touch the icon again to switch the induction hob off.
Timer icon
- Time range: 0 – 3 hours.
- Long-touch the increase icon ⬆ to increase the time by 10 minutes. Long-touch the decrease icon ⬆ to decrease the time by 10 minutes.
- Short-touch the increase icon ⚠ to increase the time by 1 minute. Short-touch the decrease icon ⚡ to decrease the time by 1 minute.
- The time setting will be confirmed after 5 seconds.
Child Lock icon
- Touch the Child Lock icon Ⓗ to block all control-panel icons except for the On/Standby one: the display will show 'Loc'.
- Long-touch the Child Lock icon to unlock all control-panel icons.
Residual heat (-H-)
In case of residual post switch-off heat, the display will show ‘-H-’.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Clean the induction hob after every use.
- Unplug and wait until the induction hob has cooled down before cleaning it.
- If the surface becomes dirty, wipe it with a damp cloth.
- Clean all ventilation inlets and outlets with a toothbrush or a cotton swab.
- If the hob needs repairing, refer only to qualified personnel.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Error codes and safety
If the hob detects a problem, it will stop working and the display will show the corresponding error code.

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
