This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, such as brushes and batteries, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

Read these instructions carefully before using your juicer and retain for future reference.
- Make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on your juicer.
- Don't ever use the appliance when the cord or plug is damaged.
- When the cord is damaged, it has to be replaced by the factory or service centre.
- The appliance is only intended for domestic use.
- Keep the appliance away from children.
- Check the filter before using your juicer. Never use it in case of any damages, tears or cracks.
- Make sure all parts have been assembled correctly before switching on the appliance.
- Check the safety interlock.
- Do not operate the juicer for more than 5 min at a time and let it cool down sufficiently between 2 uses
- Never put your fingers in the feed tube when the appliance is switched on. Use only the food pusher.
- Release the interlock when the appliance is switched off and the filter has stopped rotating.
- Don't touch the small cutting blades in the base of the filter
- Make sure the plug is removed form the socket.
- Never put the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Don't rinse it either.
INSTALLATION
- Place the juice and pulp divider on the motor unit.
- Place the pulp container against the motor unit and the juice container under the spout.
Attention: first switch off the appliance when the pulp container needs emptying. Put the empty container back before switching on. For easy cleaning, it's suggested to place a plastic bag into the pulp container to collect the pulp.
- Place the filter in the juice and pulp divider. Make sure that the filter has been placed right on the central axle. Press the filter firmly dowi
- Place the lid on the juicer. Press the interlock down until you hear a click of the safety button. If the interlock hasn't been pressed properly, the appliance doesn't work.
- Slide the food pusher into the feed tube by aligning the grooves of the food pusher with the small protrusion in the inside of the feed tube.
OPERATION
Button:
0: zero position
1: normal speed for most fruit and vegetables.
2: high speed for harder fruit and vegetables
- The juicer only operates when all parts are assembled properly and the interlock is securely locked.
- When juicing larger pieces of fruit or vegetables, first clean and cut them so they find the feed tube.
- Make sure that you always place a juice container, a glass or cup under the spout to catch the juice.
- Place the fruit or vegetables in the feed tube and use the food pusher to press down the food slightly.
Attention: don't press too hard, this will influence the result and damage the file
- When you fi nish juicing, always place the switch to position “0” and wait till the fi lter has stopped rotating
TIPS
- Use fresh vegetables and fruit, they contain more juice.
- Peel vegetables or fruit with a thick skin. A tin skin of fruit or vegetables on the other hand, doesn't have to be removed. We also advise to remove stones and piths to avoid a bitter taste of the juice.
- When preparing apple juice, remember that the thickness of the apple juice depends on the kind of apple you are using. The juicier the apple, the thinner the juice. Choose a kind of apple that produces the type of juice you prefer. Choose a kind of apple that produces the type of juice you prefer.
· To keep your apple juice from turning brown, simply add a few drops of lemon juice. - Fruit that contains starch such as bananas, avocados, figs and mangos are not suitable for juicing.
- Leafs and leaf stalks of e.g. lettuce can also be juiced in this appliance.
- Drink the juice immediately after you have extracted it. If it is exposed too long to the air, the juice will lose its taste and nutritional value.
· To extract the maximum amount of juice always press the pusher slowly down.
· The juicer is not suitable for juicing very hard or fi brous vegetables or fruit such as
rhubarb.
MAINTENANCE
- The appliance is easier to clean if you do so immediately after use.
- Don't use abrasive products to clean your appliance.
- All detachable parts are dishwasher-safe
- Switch the appliance off, remove the plug from the socket and wait till the filter has stopped rotating.

Remove the dirty parts from the motor unit and disassemble the appliance in the following order:

Remove the pulp container.
- Remove the food pusher
- Open the interlock.
- Remove the lid.
- Remove the juice and pulp divider together with the fi lter
- Clean these parts with a detergent and a soft brush or put them in the dishwasher.
- Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
- Attention: Never put the motor unit in water
PROBLEM SOLVING
- The appliance isn't working.
a) The juicer is equipped with a safety system. The appliance won't work if all parts haven't been mounted properly. Make sure that the parts are assembled properly, but first switch off the appliance before you do so
2. The motor gives of an unpleasant smell the first times you use the appliance
a) This isn't unusual. If the smell won't disappear after a few times, check the quantities you are juicing and the juicing time.
3. The filter is blocked
a) Switch the appliance off, clean the feed tube and the filter and juice a smaller amount of food.
4. The filter touches de feed tube or vibrates strongly during the juicing
a) Switch off the appliance and unplug it. Check if the fi lter has been placed properly in the appliance and check if the fi lter is damaged
