Intended use

The fan is designed exclusively for ventilating dry rooms.

It is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial use.

Only use the fan as described in this operating manual.

1. Use this device only in accordance with the guidelines in the operating instructions. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer could result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
2. Remove the packaging and ensure that the device is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact the service center or your dealer.
3. Keep children away from packaging materials. If swallowed, there is a risk of suffocation!
4. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorized service center to avoid any possible risks.

1. Before connecting to the mains, you must check that the type of current and mains voltage match the information on the device type label.

2. Only use a 5V 1A 5W charger and the appropriate cable for charging. Improper chargers can cause overheating or a fire hazard.

3. The electrical outlet you use to connect the device must not be defective or loose and must be suitable for the required current load and, above all, reliably grounded.

4. Avoid using an extension cord. If unavoidable, only use tested, grounded extension cords with sufficient cross-section. The cord must be completely unrolled to prevent overheating and fire.

5. It is prohibited to alter or modify the characteristics of this device. Only use replacement parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Failure to comply will void the warranty and guarantee.

6. If the device is defective, switch it off immediately and contact your dealer or customer service hotline.

7. For any repairs to the device, the power plug, or the cable, always and exclusively contact customer service centers authorized by the manufacturer. The contact details can be found at www.becool.at.

8. Children under 8 years of age and persons with limited physical, mental, sensory, or intellectual abilities may only

1. ⚠️ Do not operate the device unattended. Always switch off the device if you leave the room.

2. ⚠️ Children must not play with the device.

3. Do not twist or kink the power cord. Make sure that it is completely unrolled and not coiled up.

4. Do not use the device with wet hands. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.

5. Do not use the device outdoors. Also, never place the device near heat sources such as radiators, ovens, or open flames.

6. ⚠️ Never expose the battery or the device to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, or open flames. Risk of explosion and fire!

7. Never operate the device in rooms where gas, oil, or sulfur are present.

8. The device, and in particular the battery, must never come into contact with water or be immersed in liquids.

9. Do not use the device if the battery is visibly damaged, swollen, or leaking. Take it out of service immediately and dispose of it safely.

10. The device can be operated during charging, but the speed is limited. Never cover the device while charging and make sure it is placed on a hard, flat surface.

1. Never open the battery or housing, and do not attempt to replace the battery. Risk of electric shock, explosion, or fire.

2. Do not use the device near water or in high humidity, e.g., in damp basements, next to swimming pools, bathtubs, or showers. Make sure that no water gets into the device.

3. Do not place any objects on the device and do not use it to dry clothes or textiles.

4. Place the device on a stable and level surface and keep a distance of at least 1 meter around it so that air circulation is not impeded.

5. Never cover the device.

6. Never insert fingers, pens, or other objects into the device and ensure that the air inlet and outlet are never blocked. Also, keep hair and loose clothing away to avoid injury.

7. Always switch off the device before unplugging the power cord.

8. Never pull on the power cord to disconnect the device from the mains. Always pull on the plug.

9. Do not touch the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock.

10. Unplug the device when not in use, before cleaning, servicing, or moving it to another location.

11. Clean the device only with a soft, slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents and never immerse the device in water.

POWER button

To switch the fan on and off.

MODE button

Press this button after switching on to select the desired fan speed.

Start-up

For optimal performance, charge: Charge the fan for at least 2 hours before using it for the first time.

Upright position: Always place the fan in an upright position.

Sufficient space: Ensure that there is sufficient space behind the fan so that air can be drawn in unobstructed.

Place the fan on a level surface.

Unfold the fan as shown in the illustration.

To prevent the fan head from tipping over, press down on the locking mechanism.

Press the power button to turn on the fan.

The 3 speed settings can be adjusted using the mode button.

Height adjustment of the fan

Place the fan on a flat surface.

Unfold the fan as shown in the illustration.

To prevent the fan head from tipping over, press the locking mechanism down.

Then carefully pull the telescopic rod upwards until the desired height is reached.

Secure the position using the locking mechanism.

Stability with the telescopic rod extended

If you extend the telescopic rod completely, use the two extendable supports located on the underside of the fan for stabilization.

Pull these supports out and fold them out – this will keep the fan secure and stable even at maximum height.

Optimal battery care

• To maintain the battery life, it is recommended to charge the fan regularly for about 2 hours during daily use.
- The device features pass-through charging technology: the fan can be operated while charging.
- To ensure fast charging, the fan speed is limited to the lowest setting during charging.

Cleaning the fan

- Remove the inlet and outlet grilles and clean the fan blades and grilles with a soft, clean cloth.

- Never immerse the motor and fan in water. Do not open or disassemble the motor.

- If you clean the grilles with water, allow them to dry completely before reattaching them to the fan.

- Do not use solvents such as alcohol or aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.

- Do not expose the device to high humidity (e.g., in the bathroom or on a terrace).

WARRANTY

With this quality product from BE COOL, you have made a choice for innovation, durability, and reliability.

We provide a 2-year warranty for this BE COOL device, valid in Austria from the date of purchase! If, contrary to expectations, your device requires servicing during this period, we hereby guarantee free repair (spare parts and labor) or (at the discretion of Schuss) replacement of the product. If neither repair nor replacement is possible for economic reasons, we reserve the right to issue a credit note for the current value.

In the case of air conditioners, please contact the customer hotline (see sticker on the device or cover page of the instruction manual) as a first step. For fans, please contact your dealer or us directly. Please note that repair work not carried out by an authorized repair shop in Austria will immediately void this warranty. This warranty does not cover:

• We do not accept liability for consequential damage resulting from improper use.
• Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear.
• Damage due to failure to follow the operating instructions.
• Devices that are used commercially, even if only partially.
• Devices that have been mechanically damaged by external influences (falls, impacts, breakage, improper use, etc.) as well as signs of wear and tear of an aesthetic nature.
• Devices that have been handled improperly
• Devices that have not been opened by our authorized service workshop.
- Damage caused by improperly closed condensation drain valves on air conditioning units or incorrectly installed water containers.
• Unmet consumer expectations.
• Damage caused by force majeure, water, lightning, or power surges.
• Devices on which the type designation and/or serial number has been changed, deleted, made illegible, or removed.
• Services outside our authorized repair shops, transport costs to an authorized repair shop or to us and back, and the associated risks.

We expressly point out that within the warranty period, a flat fee of €60 (indexed based on CPI 2010, June 2015) will be charged in the event of operating errors or if no fault is found.

The provision of a warranty service (repair or replacement of the device) does not extend the absolute warranty period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

The 2-year warranty is only valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase (must include the name and address of the dealer and the complete device description) and the corresponding warranty certificate, on which the device type and serial number (visible on the box and on the back or bottom of the device) must be noted! Without presentation of the warranty certificate, only the statutory warranty applies!

We expressly point out that the statutory warranty rights are not affected by this warranty and remain in full force and effect.

Schuss Home Electronic GmbH and its vicarious agents shall only be liable for damages in cases of gross negligence or intent. In any case, liability for lost profits, expected but unrealized savings, consequential damages, and damages arising from third-party claims is excluded. Damage to or for recorded data is always excluded from the liability for damages.
