Please read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference.

1. --WARNING: Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

Information on how to handle the appliance safely

1. Do not route the power cord over the edge of the worktop.
2. Use the appliance only after it has been properly assembled.
3. Place the appliance on a clear, level surface. Make sure that the ice maker is at least 8cm away from other objects, walls, or furniture. This minimum clearance allows for optimal ventilation and prevents the appliance from overheating.
4. The ventilation slots must be unobstructed during operation.
5. Regularly check the appliance, the power cord and the plug for wear and damage. If the power cord or other parts of the appliance are damaged, return the appliance to our customer service department for inspection and repair. Unauthorised repairs can result in hazards for the user and will void the warranty.
6. Never use the appliance with accessories from other appliances.
7. Never store explosive materials, such as aerosol cans with flammable propellants, inside the appliance.

8. Use only drinking water in the appliance, never ultrapure or distilled water.

9. Do not repeatedly press the ON/OFF button. To prevent damage to the compressor, wait at least five minutes before pressing the button again.

10. Never fill the mixing container with hot or frozen ingredients.

Information on the safe handling of foods

1. If the lid is opened frequently, this will cause the temperature inside the appliance to rise.
2. If the appliance is not used for 48 hours or more, the mixing container must be cleaned thoroughly.
3. If the appliance is empty and is not used for an extended period, switch off and defrost the appliance, clean and dry all parts and leave the lid open to prevent mould from forming inside the appliance.

Notes on safe handling of the R290 refrigerant

1. While highly compatible with the environment, the natural gas R290 used in the cooling circuit is flammable. When transporting and installing the product, make sure not to damage any components of the cooling circuit.
2. The appliance must always be upright during transport and storage.
3. Before cleaning or servicing the appliance, switch it off and disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet.
4. Use appliances operating with flammable refrigerants in well ventilated rooms only.
5. Observe all applicable local regulations on handling gas.
6. Personnel performing maintenance or repairs on the cooling circuit should possess a valid certificate for handling refrigerants.
7. If the appliance is defective and beyond repair, dispose of it properly in accordance with the applicable local regulations for appliances with refrigerants.
8. Make sure not to damage any components that are part of the cooling circuit.
9. We suggest a maximum ingredient capacity of 2 liters.

BEFORE FIRSTUSE

1. Remove all packaging and transport safety devices. Keep packaging material away from children - danger of suffocation! Dispose of the packaging materials according to the relevant local waste disposal regulations. We recommend that you keep the packaging material for storing the appliance if it is not used for an extended period.
2. Inspect the appliance for damage. If there is visible damage, do not operate the appliance; instead, contact our Customer Service department.
3. Choose a safe and sturdy surface with an easily accessible electrical outlet and sufficient space to maintain a minimum distance to the sides of the appliance.

4. Make sure that the container lock is pulled up for the following steps.

5. Slide the condensate tray [E] completely into the guide rail(s) under the cooling cylinder [H] (Fig. 1).

6. Slide the mixer [I] over the cooling cylinder and turn it until it sits securely on the drive shaft (Fig. 2).

1. Turn the container so that the locking slide points upwards and slide the container over the cooling cylinder with the mixer inserted. (Fig. 3).
2. Press the container locking bracket [G] down to lock the container.
3. Place the drip grate on the drip tray before sliding both under the housing as shown in the figure until the drip tray engages (Fig. 4).
4. The appliance is now ready for operation.

PROGRAMS

Each presetting starts with the optimal temperature for optimal consistency. You can adjust the temperature to achieve the consistency you prefer for your drink. No temperature setting is possible in the "Cold Drink" program. The temperature cannot be lowered in the "Ice cream" program. Tip: Use only non-carbonated drinks in the Cold Drink program. Do not use sodas or carbonated drinks - as the carbonation will dissipate, potentially turning the drink flat.

Short-term operation is 12 hours, after which time you should turn off the appliance to avoid damage.

Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, consume with moderation. the Consumption of alcoholic beverages during pregnancy, even in low Quantity, can have serious consequences on the health of the child.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON MAKING SLUSH

1. Always be aware of the maximum capacity of the mixing container (1,250-2,000 ml, depending on the program), to prevent the ingredients from overflowing. It is also important to fill the container to the minimum capacity, to obtain optimal slush ice. For the best slushies, the container should ideally be completely full. You may need to adapt your recipes to the capacity of the appliance.
2. The preparation time will vary depending on several factors, such as the temperature of the ingredients, room temperature, sugar content, and the desired consistency. The use of pre-cooled ingredients can shorten the preparation time.
3. However, you should never put frozen ingredients in the container, since this will damage the appliance.
4. If you use freshly squeezed juice, any pulp must be removed by straining through a sieve, for example. Solid components can clog the outlet.
5. The formation of condensate on the outside of the mixing container is normal, especially at high humidity or in case of long preparation times.
6. The recipe booklet included contains additional information and tips.

OPERATION

1. Get the required ingredients ready.
2. Open the lid of the mixing container and slowly pour in the liquid. Always pay attention to the minimum and maximum permissible fill quantities. Adding too little liquid will cause the drink to not mix properly. Adding too much may cause the liquid to overflow
3. Close the locking slide of the mixing container.
4. Plug the appliance into an electrical outlet in accordance with the type plate. You will hear a brief signal tone. Press the "ON/OFF" button (H) to switch the appliance on. All indicators light up briefly; and the appliance will afterwards go into standby mode.
5. Note: If no buttons are pressed for an extended period, the appliance will turn off again.

6. Select the desired type of preparation by pressing the menu button (E) repeatedly until the indicator lamp of the desired program lights up.

7. Use the temperature control (button C) to set the desired consistency of the slush ice.

8. After a few seconds, the appliance starts mixing and cooling the ingredients. The indicator lamps of the temperature control and the selected program flash during operation.
9. You can change the program during preparation at any time using the Menu button.
10. When the selected program is finished, a beep sounds several times.
11. The appliance now automatically switches to cooling mode and keeps the slush ice cool.
12. Place a container under the outlet and pull the tap forward to remove the slush ice. Once the desired quantity has been dispensed, release the tap.
13. The appliance remains in cooling mode until you select another function or switch off the appliance.
14. To switch off the appliance, press the ON/OFF button (H) and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
15. If you wish to prepare more slush ice right away, clean the appliance first in accordance with the instructions provided in the chapter "Cleaning and care".

Button lock

1. If you wish to protect the device from accidental operation, activate the button lock by pressing and holding the "Light/Lock" button (A) for 3 seconds. The button lights up, indicating that the appliance is locked. Now, input via the buttons is disabled. Press and hold the button again for 3 seconds to deactivate this lock. Input via the buttons is enabled again.

APPLIANCE PROTECTION FEATURES

1. Motor protection: The appliance is equipped with a safety feature that automatically stops the mixer if the processed mass is too solid. This prevents damage to the mixer.

2. Compressor protection: To protect the compressor, avoid starting and stopping the appliance repeatedly. After being switched off, the compressor needs a rest period of 3 minutes before it can be activated again. Unplugging the power cord deactivates the protection feature. To prevent damage to the compressor, we recommend that you do not unplug the appliance.

3. Mixing container protection: The appliance automatically switches off if the mixing container is not correctly inserted or if it is removed during operation. This feature prevents injuries, as well as damage to the appliance. In this case, the function symbols on the display light up, and the appliance can only be started again after the mixing container is correctly inserted

CLEANING AND CARE

Before disassembly, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet!

Do not use abrasive scouring agents, steel wool, metal objects, hot cleaners or disinfectants, since they can cause damage to the appliance.

Interim cleaning

1. Allow the prepared mass to drain completely from the appliance through the tap and into a container.

2. Fill the mixing container with clear water up to the 2,000 ml marking. Press the "ON/OFF" button to switch the appliance on before pressing the "Menu" button repeatedly until the lamp indicating the "Clean" function lights up. Then immediately drain the water via the outlet into a sufficiently large container and discard. If the mixing container is still not clean, repeat the process.

Disassembly

1. Before disassembly, carry out interim cleaning for 2-3 minutes as described in the section above. Completely drain the water via the outlet into a sufficiently large container and discard.

2. Switch off the appliance using the "ON/OFF" switch and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

3. Open the locking mechanism by pulling the handle up (see chapter "Before first use").

4. Pull the mixing container forward and off the housing before pulling the mixer off the cooling enclosure. Clean both components with a moist cloth and dry thoroughly.

5. Pull the drip tray out of the appliance, empty the tray, and clean the tray and drip grate in warm water with a little washing-up liquid.

6. Pull the condensate tray out of the appliance, empty the tray and clean it, likewise in warm water with a little washing-up liquid.

7. Wipe off the cooling cylinder and the seal with a clean cloth. Important. The seal cannot be removed. Never pull on the seal. This can deform the seal, resulting in water leaks and a defective appliance.

8. Mixer and mixing container are dishwasher-safe and can be cleaned in the upper basket using a gentle rinsing program.
9. To clean these parts by hand, add a mild washing-up liquid to about 8 litres of water and immerse all parts. Use a washing-up brush, for example, to remove any food residue from the parts.
10. Afterwards, rinse all parts with clean water.
11. Wipe off the housing carefully with a moist cloth.
12. All parts must be completely dry before you reassemble the appliance.
13. Note: The appliance operates with a compressor. As a result, condensation water can collect inside the appliance. After switching off and cleaning the appliance, it should therefore remain unpacked for at least two days before storing, to allow the condensation water to evaporate.
14. If the appliance is not to be used for an extended period, it should preferably be stored in the original box in a protected, dry area that is free of dust.

The warranty does not cover the wear - and - tear parts of the product, nor the problems or damages resulting from:

(1) superficial damages due to the normal wear of the product;
(2) defects or damages due to the contact of the product with food or liquids and due to the corrosion caused by rust;
(3) any incident, abuse, improper use, unauthorized modification, disassembly or repair;
(4) any improper maintenance operation, use not in accordance with the product instructions or connection to an incorrect voltage;
(5) any use of accessories not provided or approved by the manufacturer.

The warranty will be void if the product's identification plate and/or serial number are missing.

WASTE DISPOSAL / ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
