Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time and keep them for future reference. FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instructions.

Please check that the supply voltage of your electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance's rating plate.

Always connect the appliance to an earthed socket.

This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and over and by persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved.

Children must not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.

Turn the vacuum cleaner off using the ON/OFF switch and unplug it before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning activity.

Do not vacuum incandescent materials. Never use the appliance on damp surfaces.

Never vacuum water or any other liquid.

Never vacuum flammable substances or hot ash.

If the suction tube becomes blocked with dirt, immediately disconnect the appliance from the power supply and unblock the tubes.

Never direct the suction tip at people or animals and especially not at the eyes and ears, nor put it in your mouth when it is

connected to the vacuum cleaner and it is switched on.

It is important that the deposit is placed correctly, otherwise the appliance may be damaged.

Never use the appliance without motor protection filters, as this may damage the motor and reduce the useful life of the appliance.

Always use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

Do not use the appliance if it is not working properly. If there are any damages, for example, in the power cord or the plug, please visit an Authorized Flama Technical Assistance Service immediately. Any intervention other than cleaning must be carried out only by authorized FLAMA agents.

If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid a hazard.

OPERATION

Before first use

Remove the appliance from the box, along with the accessories. All of the plastic bags included in the vacuum box may not be used as toys.

Using a slight pressure, insert the tip of the flexible tube in the connection of the vacuum, which is at the front of the appliance.

Fit the solid tube with the length regulator into the flexible tube.

The solid tube is telescopic, you may adjust it to the length that is most convenient, with the help of the length regulator.

Attach the multi-surface brush or the desired accessory at the other end of the solid tube with the length regulator.

When the previous instructions have been completed, unwind the power cord up to the distance needed for its use.

WARNING- when unrolling the power cord, be careful not to exceed the yellow mark. If you force the unrolling beyond the red mark, you may damage the appliance. To retract the cord, press the cord retraction button.

Insert the power cable into the electrical socket.

To start the vacuum, press the ON/OFF switch.

Adjust the air volume, closing and/or opening the window to allow air to enter the tube handle, thus regulating the power of the vacuum.

NOTE- If you experience loss of vacuum power, a strange noise, or the appliance stops working, check immediately whether the rigid tube or flexible tube is blocked with objects or if the bin is full. If you cannot find the reason for the anomaly, go to the Technical Assistance Service.

Multi-surface brush:

The multi-surface brush may be used on carpets or floors.

Brush bristles out for hard pavements.

Brush bristles retracted for carpets.

Accessories:

Use the tip/brush for scratches, connecting it directly to the tube handle or the rigid tube.

After use

Press the On/Off button of the appliance, and press the cord retraction button so that the cord is retracted continuously.

Warning: If the cord cannot be fully retracted, pull the cord a bit and press the button to retract the cord again. You may repeat this step of retracting the cord until the cord is

fully retracted.

Turn off the vacuum using the ON/OFF button and remove the power cord plug from the electrical socket.

Turn off the appliance and disconnect the flexible tube from the dust bin.

Press the dust bin deposit button and pull the deposit along with the cleaning system, using the handle connected to it.

Secure the dust bin deposit over a trash can and press the button to release the bottom of the deposit.

Eliminate the dust from the inside.

Once again replace the base of the dust bin deposit in its original position.

NOTE- If the dust is compact and hard to remove, tap the side of the dust bin lightly against the waste bin. Use this operation to clean the sponge filter of the motor. Place it in its starting position once again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the exterior of the vacuum with a soft, damp cloth followed by a soft, dry cloth.

Never use harsh liquids to clean the vacuum.

Remove the dust bin.

Remove the plastic filter and the sponge filter.

Shake the filters over a trash can and then brush them.

The plastic filter should be washed frequently when dirty to avoid the formation of barriers.

When the sponge filter is full of dust, it should be washed or replaced.

Warning: Do not wash the filter in the washing machine or dry it with an electric heater. Please replace it after it has air dried.

WARNING- Never under any circumstances should you wash the filters in the washing machine or dishwasher!

If necessary, rinse the filters in clean, warm water. Next, shake the excess water and let the parts air dry completely.

Clean the dust bin deposit with a damp cloth.

After cleaning, set up the filters again and place them in the dust bin deposit.

WARNING- Do not place the filters inside the dust bin if one of the parts is damp.

Place the dust bin in the vacuum.

Cleaning the HEPA filter:

The HEPA filter is located at the back of the vacuum, behind the filter lid. It filters the air that leaves the vacuum before it is returned to the environment. The HEPA filter should be cleaned regularly.

Remove the HEPA filter lid.

Remove the filter.

Shake the filter over the trash can. If necessary, you may clean it with clean, warm water. Next, shake the excess water and let the filter air dry completely.

WARNING- Never install the filter, while it is still damp. Brush or clean the filter compartment, if necessary.

Insert the filter.

Replace the protective grill on the vacuum.
