USER MANUAL 692FL Flama

ATTENTION - HOT SURFACE - Accessible surface temperatures can be high during appliance operation.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time and keep them for future reference. FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instructions.

Please check that the supply voltage of your home electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance's rating plate.

Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than that described in the user manual and use only original accessories.

Always place the ingredients to be fried inside the basket to prevent them from coming into contact with the heating components.

Do not cover the air inlets and outlets while the appliance is switched on.

Do not fill the container with oil as this could pose a fire hazard.

Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or rinse it under running water for cleaning.

Do not use the appliance if the plug, the power cord or the appliance itself are damaged.

If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at an Authorized Flama Technical Assistance Service in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the dangers involved.

Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.

Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old.

Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

This appliance must only be connected to an earthed socket. Always check that the plug is firmly inserted into the socket.

Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable and horizontal surface, positioning the handles (if any) so as to prevent the spillage of hot liquids.

This appliance is not intended to be operated using an external timer or a separate remote control system.

Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Leave at least 10~cm of free space at the back and sides and 10 cm of free space above the appliance. Do not place anything on top of the appliance.

Make sure that the ingredients prepared in this appliance come out golden yellow, rather than dark or brown. Dispose of burnt residues. Do not fry fresh potatoes at a temperature higher than 180^ (to reduce acrylamide production).

After removing the container with the basket from the appliance, place it on a suitable surface and allow it to sit for 30 seconds before removing the basket from the container.

Be careful when cleaning the upper area of the preparation chamber: hot resistance, edges of metal parts.

Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than that described in the instruction manual and use only original accessories.

CARE

This is an appliance that operates with hot air. Do not fill the fryer basket with oil, frying fat, or any other liquid.

Do not place anything on top of the appliance. This interferes with the airflow and affects its operation.

Do not touch hot surfaces.

This appliance is intended for household use only.

Do not touch the basket or grill during and for some time after use, as they become very hot.

The basket will be hot after the cooking process. Always place it on a heat-resistant surface when removing it from the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after each use. Unplug the power cord and always wait for the fryer to cool down before proceeding with cleaning.

IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in any liquid.

Remove the basket to allow the fryer to cool down more quickly.

The basket and grill have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this can damage the non-stick coating.

Do not use any abrasive materials or sharp utensils to clean the fryer or any of its parts.

Allow all parts and surfaces to dry completely before using the appliance again.

Wash the basket and grill with hot water, a little liquid detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge. You can use a degreasing liquid to remove any remaining dirt.

Tip: If there are food residues stuck on the grill or basket, soak the basket in hot soapy water for about 1 hour. Wash and dry.

Clean the interior of the appliance with warm water and a non-abrasive sponge.

Clean thoroughly to remove any crumbs or residue.

Clean the heating elements with a cleaning brush to remove any food residue.

Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and sponge, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.

The grill and basket can be washed in the dishwasher.

Never place the basket in the fryer without

the rubber supports, as this can damage the non-stick coating of the parts.

OPERATION

WARNING - Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in operation, so that you can intervene quickly in case of any hazards.

Before first use

Remove all packaging material.

Remove all stickers or labels from the appliance, except for the appliance's rating plate.

Wash the basket and grill with hot water, a little liquid detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge.

Clean the interior and exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.

When using the fryer for the first time, you may notice smoke or a slight odor in the first few minutes of cooking. This is normal. Ensure that the environment is well-ventilated.

Recommendations

Place the appliance on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.

Leave at least 50~mm of space around the appliance.

Have oven gloves (or a kitchen towel) at hand, use heat-resistant plastic tongs, and a heat-resistant mat or plate to support the basket.

Hold the handle of the basket with your hand and slide the basket out of the body.

Place the basket on a heat-resistant mat.

To remove the grill from the basket, use the holes in the tray to remove it with your hands; wait for the grill and basket to cool down.

Slide the basket into the fryer until it locks into place. The appliance will not function unless the basket is properly placed.

Do not fill the basket with oil or any other liquid.

Never place the basket in the fryer without the rubber supports, as this can damage the non-stick coating of the parts.

Note: For best results, it is recommended to use the preheat function.

Usage

Plug the appliance into a power outlet. The ON/OFF button lights up in red, indicating that the fryer is in standby mode.

Press the ON/OFF button; the fryer enters operating mode, and the control panel becomes active. Press again to turn off the panel and return to standby mode.

Press the preheat button or an automatic program button; the selected button blinks.

Press the Start/Pause button to start the operation; the selected button and the Start/Pause button blink.

At the end of the set time, the fryer emits an audible alert; the ventilation continues to operate for 1 minute; after 1 minute, the fryer enters standby mode.

NOTE: You can change the programmed temperature or time; use the temperature and time adjustment buttons at any time during cooking.

Press the Start/Pause button during cooking to pause the program. Press again to resume.

Some foods need to be stirred halfway through cooking. To do this, slide the basket out of the body and shake it. Then slide the basket back into the body; cooking continues.

Preheat Function (Preheat)

Use this function to preheat the basket for 3 minutes; the default temperature is 180^ .

Press the preheat button.

At the end of the set time, the fryer emits an audible alert.

Press the button again to cancel the command.

STORAGE

Allow the appliance to cool completely before storing it. Make sure all parts are clean and dry. Store the fryer in a dry place.

Do not place heavy objects on top of the fryer, as this can damage it.
