ATTENTION - HOT SURFACE - Accessible surface temperatures can be high during appliance operation.

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time and keep them for future reference.

FLAMA shall not be liable for any use that is not in accordance with the instructions.

Please check that the supply voltage of your home electrical system corresponds to the voltage on the appliance's rating plate.

Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than that described in the user manual and use only original accessories.

Always place the ingredients to be fried inside the basket to prevent them from coming into contact with the heating components.

Do not cover the air inlets and outlets while the appliance is switched on.

Do not fill the container with oil as this could pose a fire hazard.

Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid, or rinse it under running water for cleaning.

Do not use the appliance if the plug, the power cord or the appliance itself are damaged.

If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced at an Authorized Flama Technical Assistance Service in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and understand the dangers involved.

Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.

Keep the appliance and cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old.

Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

This appliance must only be connected to an earthed socket. Always check that the plug is firmly inserted into the socket.

Always place and use the appliance on a dry, stable and horizontal surface, positioning the handles (if any) so as to prevent the spillage of hot liquids.

This appliance is not intended to be operated using an external timer or a separate remote control system.

Do not place the appliance against a wall or other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm of free space at the back and sides and 10 cm of free space above the appliance. Do not place anything on top of the appliance.

During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlets. Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and air outlets. Also be careful with hot steam and air when removing the container from the appliance.

Accessible surfaces may become hot during use.

The appliance's accessories heat up when you use them. Take care when handling them.

Before using the appliance, always make sure that the heating component and its surroundings are clean and free from food traces to ensure a proper operation.

Do not place the appliance near or on top of a gas stove or any type of electric stove or electric hob, or inside a heated oven.

The appliance is intended for regular household use only. It is not intended for environments such as staff pantries in stores, offices, farms, and other work environments. It is also not suitable for use by customers in hotels, motels, inns, and other

residential environments.

This appliance was designed to be used at ambient temperatures between 5°C and 40°C.

Always switch off the appliance after each use by removing the plug from the power socket.

Allow the appliance to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before handling or cleaning it.

Do not overfill the basket.

Make sure that the ingredients prepared in this appliance come out golden yellow, rather than dark or brown. Dispose of burnt residues. Do not fry fresh potatoes at a temperature higher than 180^ C (to reduce acrylamide production).

After removing the container with the basket from the appliance, place it on a suitable surface and allow it to sit for 30 seconds before removing the basket from the container.

Be careful when cleaning the upper area of the preparation chamber: hot resistance, edges of metal parts.

Do not use the appliance for any other purpose other than that described in the instruction manual and use only original accessories.

CARE

This is a hot air appliance. Do not fill the fryer basket with oil, frying fat, or any other liquid.

Do not touch hot surfaces.

This appliance is intended for household use only.

Do not touch the basket or rack during and some time after use, as they become very hot.

The basket will be hot after the cooking process. Always place it on a heat-resistant surface when removing it from the appliance.

The digital panel is sensitive. Use a soft (microfiber) cloth slightly dampened with water, without chemicals. Clean the surface with gentle movements, without applying pressure to avoid scratching or damaging the sensitivity of the panel.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging material.

Remove all stickers or labels from the appliance, except for the appliance's rating plate.

Wash the basket and rack with hot water, a little liquid detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge.

Clean the interior and exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Turn on the empty appliance for about 15 minutes at the maximum temperature in a well-ventilated area to eliminate odors and smoke due to any manufacturing residues in the internal parts of the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Clean the appliance after each use.

Unplug the power plug and always wait for the fryer to cool down before cleaning.

IMPORTANT: Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in any liquid.

Remove the basket to allow the fryer to cool down more quickly.

The basket and rack have a non-stick coating. Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials, as this can damage the non-stick coating.

Wash the basket and rack with hot water, a little liquid detergent, and a non-abrasive sponge. You can use a degreasing liquid to remove any remaining dirt.

Tip: If there are food residues stuck to the rack or basket, soak the basket in hot, soapy water for about 1 hour. Wash and dry thoroughly.

Do not use abrasive materials or cutting utensils to clean the fryer or any of its parts.

Never use abrasive sponges to clean the interior of the appliance.

Ensure that all parts and surfaces are completely dry before using the appliance again.

Clean the interior of the appliance with warm water and a non-abrasive sponge. Clean the interior thoroughly to remove any crumbs or residue and dry.

To clean the heating element, use a soft brush or a dry cloth to remove any food residues.

Clean the exterior with a damp cloth and a sponge, and then dry with a soft cloth.

Never place the rack in the basket without the rubber supports, as this may damage the non-stick coating of the parts.

OPERATION

CAUTION - Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation so that you can intervene quickly in case of dangers. Place the appliance on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface.

Leave at least 50 mm of space around the appliance.

Have oven gloves (or a kitchen cloth) on hand, use heat-resistant tongs, and a heat-resistant mat or plate to support the basket.

To remove the basket from the body, press the basket release button and slide the basket out of the body.

Place the basket on a heat-resistant mat.

To remove the rack from the basket, use the holes in the rack to remove it with your hands; wait for the rack and basket to cool.

Slide the basket into the fryer until it clicks into place. The appliance will not work unless the basket is properly positioned.

Do not fill the basket with oil or any other liquid.

Never place the rack without the rubber supports in the basket as it may damage the non-stick coating of the parts.

NOTE: When a program ends, if the interior temperature of the fryer is above 100^ C, the ventilation will continue to operate for about 20 seconds.

SHAKE ALERT

Approximately 2/3 of the programmed time (when the set time is over 6 minutes), the air fryer emits an audible alert to remind you to shake/turn the food; the “SHY” indication appears on the display.

Hold the basket by the handle, press the basket release button, and slide the basket out of the body; the program pauses until the basket is properly placed.

Shake or turn the food.

Slide the basket into the air fryer until it clicks into place; the program resumes.

NOTE: The SHAKE ALERT is not set in the CAKE program.
