- Theappliance must be placed at distance of least 5cm from an electrical gas cooker and at least 30cm from radiator or heater. An insulation panel must be fitted when these distances cannot be kept.
- Theappliance must be placed at least 5cm away from the wall or the back of the cabinet. A kitchen cupboard abovetherefrigerator must have agapofatleast5cmbetweentheback of the cupboard and the wall. This is needed to make sure that there is sufficient cooling air for the condenser.
- Theplugoftheinstalledappliancemustremainaccessible!

- The kitchen unit in which the appliance is to be built in must have an opening of at least 200cm^2 initsbasetoallowsufficientairtocirculate.

- Connect the appliance to the power supply with a plug. The socket must be earthed. The nominal voltage and frequency required for the appliance are shown on the appliance's stypeplate/label with basic information.

Because the appliance has extensive settings,amenystem was defined to provide access to all settings. As a default, settings are already set, so it is not necessary to go through SETTINGS MENU. But to adapt the appliances setting to your preferences, it is possible to do so.

WithintheSPECIALMODESmenu, you can find five special modes that you can activate or deactivate using the tetoggle.

ECOMODE(ECOMODE)oreconomical/environmentallyfriendlymode
WhentheECOfunctionisselected, the applianceworkswiththeoptimumsettings (refrigerator4°C/DuraFresh2/0°C/freezer-18°C). Thesesettingsareshowninthedataplay. The ECOfunctionhasnotimelimitandremainsactivateduntilthefunctionisdisabled.
Switchingiton/off:usetheft/rightarrowstonavigatetotheSPECIALMODESmenuandpress the checkmarktoenterthemenu.Thenusetheft/rightarrowstonavigatetoECOMODE,whereyou thenusetheft/rightarrowstoturntheECOfunctiononoroffagain.

Usethisfunctionwhenyouareawayforalongperiodoftime,forexamplewhenyouaregoingon holidayortakingalongbusinesstrip.Thiswillsaveelectricityandpreventthebuild-upofmouldin therefrigeratorcompartment.
- Whenthisfunctionisactivated,therefrigeratorcompartmentandDuraFreshcompartment temperaturewillbesetto 15^ .

Beforeactivatingthisfunction,emptytherefrigeratorandDuraFreshcompartment,asany perishablesleftinthiscompartmentmayspoil.

TheHOLIDAYMODEisautomatically deactivatedevenwhenyouchangethe temperatureofoneofthecompartmentsand whenanotherfunctionwithahigherpriorityis selected.
PARTYMODE(PARTYMODE)
InPartymode, set all compartments stom maximum cooling and freezing. Use this function when you want to cool/freeze large amounts of food and drink during the day.

Important recommendations for storing frozen food
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the storage and use of frozen food. Take note of the recommended storage temperature and use-by date stated on thehepackaging.
