Selectingthelocation

• Placetheapplianceinadryandwelliairedroom. The permitted ambient temperature range for the appliance depends on the appliance's climate class, which is shown on the typeplate.

• Do not place the appliance near a source of heat, such as a gas cooker, radiator or boiler, etc., anddonotexposeittodirectsunlight.

• Theappliance must be placed at distance of least 5cm from an electrical gas cooker and at least 30cm from radiator or heater. An insulation panel must be fitted when these distances cannot be kept.
• Theappliance must be placed at least 5cm away from the wall or the back of the cabinet. A kitchen cupboard abovetherefrigerator must have agapofatleast5cmbetweentheback of the cupboard and the wall. This is needed to make sure that there is sufficient cooling air for the condenser.
• Theplugoftheinstalledappliancemustremainaccessible!

• The kitchen unit in which the appliance is to be built in must have an opening of at least 200cm^2 initsbasetoallowsufficientairtocirculate.
• The appliance's air outlet is at the top. Make sure that the outlet is not blocked. Blocking the outlet can result in damage to the appliance.

Connectingtheappliance

• Connect the appliance to the power supply with a plug. The socket must be earthed. The nominal voltage and frequency required for the appliance are shown on the appliance's stypeplate/label with basic information.
• Theappliancemustbeconnectedtothemainsandearthedinaccordancewiththeprevailing standardsandregulations. Theappliancecanwithstandsmallvariationsinthemainsvoltage toamaximumofplusorminus6%.

Toinsertthedrawerintotheguides,pullbothguidesoutfully.Algnthe drawerwiththeguidesandpushitintothegrooveonthebackof the guide.Thenslidethedrawerdownatthefronttolatchitontothe telescopicguide.

Doorcompartments

Theheightofthedoorcompartmentsisadjustable.Liftthecompartment outofthegrooveandfititintherequiredposition.Eachcompartment cancarryamaximumweightof5kg.

Thelowerdoorcompartmentissuitableforbottlesandhasasslider attachedwithwhichyoucanfixthebottlessthattheycannotmove uncontrollably.

Laythebottlerackononeoftheglassshelvesandputthebottles on therack. Therackisshapedtostopthebottlesrollingsideways. The rackholdsamaximumofthreebottlesorsixcans.

MultiBox

TheMultiBoxoffersahandyoptionforstoringfoodswithastrongodour, suchasripeorbluecheese,smokedsausagesandonions,etc.

Thewoodenlidcanalsobeseusedaseggtray.

Woodentray(ServingTray)

Thewoodentrayismountedonspecialguidesundertheglassshelf. Pullthetrayfullyouttoobtaineaseasyaccessstotheproductsitcontains. Thetraycanalsobeusedasaservingtray.Removethetrayfromthe guidesandremovealltheproducts.

When the appliance is plugged in for the first time or after the appliance was disconnected from them, the appliances will be unable to function.

The default state of the appliance is switched off. When the appliance is connected to the power mains, itisstillswitchedoff.

• The factory default settingisthererecommendedtemperature, namelytherfrigerator compartmentat 4^ , the freezer compartmentat- 18^ and the Dura Fresh compartment at 0/2^ .
• Aftertheapplianceisswitchedon, it may take several hours for the set temperature to reach. Donot place any food into there refrigerator before the temperature drops to the selected setting.

TemperatureintheDuraFreshcompartment canbesetbypressing01toselecta compantment03andthenpressing05toset thedesiredtemperature. Thetemperaturein theDuraFreshcompartmentcanbesetinthe rangefrom-2/0°Cto0/2°C.

• Use this setting after switching on the appliance for the first time, before cleaning, or before inserting large amount of food.

Switchingitoff:todeactivatetheFastFreeze function,press04.IntheeventthattheFast FreezeandSuperCoolfunctionsareactivated atthesametime,todeactivatethefunction, youmustfirstpress01toselectthe compartmentforwhichyouwanttoturnoffthe functionandthenpressandhold04.

If the setting is not deactivated manually, it will be deactivated automatically (after about 52 hours). The setting returnsstothelastsaved state.

• When the intensive freezing (fast freeze) function is activated, the appliance will operate with maximumpower. Duringthisime, operation may be temporarily somewhat louder.

INFORMATION!

• When the intensive freezing (fast freeze) function is activated, temperature may be lower both intherefrigeratorandthefreezercompartment.

Ifthesettingisnotdeactivatedmanually,itwill be deactivatedautomatically(after approximatelyeighours).Thesettingreturns tothelastsavedstate.

Menu

Because the appliance has extensive settings,amenystem was defined to provide access to all settings. As a default, settings are already set, so it is not necessary to go through SETTINGS MENU. But to adapt the appliances setting to your preferences, it is possible to do so.

Bypressingtheconfirmkeyforanyparticularfood, you can find arecommendationon the screeninwhichDuraFreshcompartmentitisbesttostorethisparticularfoodandatwhattemperature. Navigatethedescriptionbyusingtheup/downarrows.

WithintheSPECIALMODESmenu, you can find five special modes that you can activate or deactivate using the tetoggle.

ECOMODE(ECOMODE)oreconomical/environmentallyfriendlymode

WhentheECOfunctionisselected, the applianceworkswiththeoptimumsettings (refrigerator4°C/DuraFresh2/0°C/freezer-18°C). Thesesettingsareshowninthedataplay. The ECOfunctionhasnotimelimitandremainsactivateduntilthefunctionisdisabled.

Switchingiton/off:usetheft/rightarrowstonavigatetotheSPECIALMODESmenuandpress the checkmarktoenterthemenu.Thenusetheft/rightarrowstonavigatetoECOMODE,whereyou thenusetheft/rightarrowstoturntheECOfunctiononoroffagain.

Usethisfunctionwhenyouareawayforalongperiodoftime,forexamplewhenyouaregoingon holidayortakingalongbusinesstrip.Thiswillsaveelectricityandpreventthebuild-upofmouldin therefrigeratorcompartment.

• Whenthisfunctionisactivated,therefrigeratorcompartmentandDuraFreshcompartment temperaturewillbesetto 15^ .

Beforeactivatingthisfunction,emptytherefrigeratorandDuraFreshcompartment,asany perishablesleftinthiscompartmentmayspoil.

HOLIDAYMODE(HOLIDAYMODE)on

TheHOLIDAYMODEisautomatically deactivatedevenwhenyouchangethe temperatureofoneofthecompartmentsand whenanotherfunctionwithahigherpriorityis selected.

PARTYMODE(PARTYMODE)

InPartymode, set all compartments stom maximum cooling and freezing. Use this function when you want to cool/freeze large amounts of food and drink during the day.

You canalsoturnoffSABBATHMODEmanuallybylong-pressing.

SABBATHMODEisautomaticallydeactivatedafter72hours.
