- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices

If the appliance is to be used in a bathroom, it must be unplugged from the wall socket after use, as the proximity to water could be a risk even with the appliance switched off.

This icon means that the appliance must not be used in bathtubs, showers, or any other water-filled tank.
- WARNING: Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks, or other water-filled containers.
- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- The appliance must not come into contact with flammable material. Also, it must not be used near flammable material.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- Keep all packaging materials away from children, as they may create a risk of suffocation.

This appliance must be checked frequently for signs of wear or damage. If the appliance shows visible signs of damage, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

In case of defect or malfunction, turn off and disconnect the appliance immediately.
- Do not use accessories or parts that have not been provided by Cecotec.
- Never grasp the appliance by or near the plates when turned on. The heat of the plates may cause serious burns. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
- Do not carry the appliance if still hot.
- Do not leave the appliance unsupervised during operation.
- Do not use on pets or animals.
- Keep the appliance away from heat sources.
- The appliance may reach high temperatures during use. Avoid contact between the appliance and the face, neck, and scalp.
- Do not use outdoors or near sprays.
- Do not cover the cable or the appliance when operating. The power
cable must not touch the hot parts of the appliance and must not pass through the plates of the hair straightener.
- Never wind the main cable around the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance if you have applied foam, spray, or gel to your hair beforehand.
- Do not place the appliance directly on non-heat resistant surfaces while it is connected to the mains.
- Do not unplug or carry the appliance by the power cable.
- If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
- When the appliance is connected to the mains, do not leave it unattended.
- Always place the appliance on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Keep the appliance out of the reach of children, especially during use and while it is cooling down.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.
3. OPERATION
Switching on the lawn mower
ENGLISH
- Check the voltage of the power outlet and connect the appliance to a power outlet.
- Slide the plate lock button to unlock the plates.
- Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the device. The indicator light on the ion generator will turn on. During the heating time, the indicator light for the selected temperature will flash. When the temperature is reached, the indicator will remain steady.
Temperature setting
- Temperature settings: 170 °C, 190 °C, 210 °C, 230 °C.
- Press the temperature setting button repeatedly to switch between the available temperatures.
Recommendation
Always select the lowest temperature setting (170 °C) when using the appliance for the first time.
Using the hair straightener
- Wash and dry hair thoroughly.
- Separate your hair into approx. 4 cm strands.
- Hold the appliance with one hand.
- Begin at the roots and lay the prepared strands one at a time between the hair-straightener plates.
- Close the hair straightener and glide it slowly from root to tip. Repeat until your hair is
straightened as desired.
- Once finished styling, let your hair cool down and then comb it through.
- Once finished, press and hold the power button to switch off the appliance.
- Slide the plate lock button down to lock the plates and allow the hair straightener to cool down before storing it.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Place the appliance on a heatproof surface until it cools down before cleaning or storing it.
- Use a soft, dry, and clean cloth to clean the appliance.
- Do not wind the power cord around the appliance.
- Store the appliance in a dry place out of the reach of children.
