Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users. - Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product rating label and that the plug is earthed. - This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way.

- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. - WARNING: do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks, or other water-filled vessels.

Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
Do not use the device if its cord or any other part is damaged. In this case, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

• Keep all packaging materials away from children. Risk of suffocation.
• This device must be checked frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are present, or if the device has been used improperly, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service. Do not try to repair the device by yourself.
• Switch off the device immediately in the event of defects or malfunctions. Pull

from the plug, not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.

• Do not use accessories or parts that have not been provided by Cecotec.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
• Do not use it on animals.
• Keep the device away from heat sources.

• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

• The device may reach high temperatures during use, avoid contact with eyes and bare skin.

• Do not use outdoors or operate it near flammable substances such as sprays.
• Do not cover the device with any object during use and do not expose the power cord to the heating part of the device.
• Do not use the appliance simultaneously with hair mousse, spray or gel.
• Do not place the device directly on any

non-heatproof surfaces while plugged in or in operation.
- If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!
- Never hold the device by or near the bristles when in operation. The hair straightening brush bristles can cause burns. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes. Do not transport the device while it is hot.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bed conditions, contact the official Carotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

• Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.
• Dry your hair before using the hair straightening brush. Ensure that your hair is completely dry before using the device.

• Use any product to protect your hair against heat and comb your hair with a long toothed comb.

• Plug the device into a power supply.

• Slide the power switch up until the LCD light indicator turns on.

Do not touch the heating plate nor the bristles during use to avoid burns.
- Hold the device by the handle, always at a safe distance from skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
- Divide your hair into approx. 4-cm strands. - Begin at the roots and lay the prepared strands one at a time

between the hair straightening brush bristles.

- Move the hair straightening brush slowly from the roots through to the tips of your hair. Repeat until your hair is as straight as you desire.

- Once finished, switch off and unplug the hair straightening brush from the mains socket. Let the hair cool down.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Make sure the device is unplugged from the mains before cleaning and maintenance.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
• Place the device on a heatproof surface until it cooks down.
• Only use a slightly moisturised and clean cloth to clean the product.
• Do not wrap the cord around the handle or plates.
• Store the device in a safe and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children. You can hang the device by the hanging hook.
