How to cut the Vevor P49-1-100 composite pipe?

Use a special tube cutter for composite pipe. A clean cut ensures a good connection. The tube cutter is not included in this model, but can be purchased separately.

What is the maximum supported pressure?

The maximum working pressure is 1.0 MPa (i.e., 10 bar). The pipe withstands a pressure of 10 kg for continuous use.

What is the maximum water temperature?

The pipe can support water temperature up to 95 °C continuously. The Vicat softening point is 131.5 °C.

Can the pipe be used for underfloor heating?

Yes, thanks to its high thermal conductivity (0.45 W/mK) and pressure resistance, it is perfectly suitable for underfloor heating systems.

How to bend the pipe without breaking it?

The pipe bends cold without rebound. Simply bend it by hand or with a bender. No heating is required.

What accessories are included in the package?

The package contains 1 rounding tool and 10 clamps for fittings. The tube cutter is not provided for this model.

What is the service life of this pipe?

The service life is estimated at more than 50 years at 20 °C and under pressure of 1.0 MPa. Under normal conditions, it can exceed 100 years.

Can this pipe be used outdoors?

Yes, the pipe is frost-resistant down to -40 °C and UV-resistant thanks to the aluminum layer. However, it is recommended to protect it from direct sunlight to extend its service life.

How to connect the pipe to fittings?

Use compression or push-fit fittings. After cutting and rounding the end with the provided tool, insert the fitting and tighten the clamp with an appropriate pliers.

Is the pipe frost-resistant?

Yes, it can be installed and used without damage at temperatures down to -40 °C. The multilayer structure prevents excessive expansion due to frost.

INSTRUCTIONS

Long service life: under the working temperature of 70 °C and the working pressure of 1.0 MPa, the long-term continuous service life is more than 50 years; the normal temperature 20 °C service life is more than 50 years.

The crosslinking degree is stable and even: the crosslinking degree is stable, the inner and outer diameters of the pipes are unified, and the thickness is even in the longitudinal and transverse directions.

High strength and pressure resistance: it can withstand 85 °C water temperature for a long time, because it contains seamless laser butt welding and aluminum layer lap welding process, it can withstand a wide pressure range.

Good thermal conductivity: the coefficient of thermal conductivity is 0.45 W/mK, 1.5 to 2 times the coefficient of cross-linked polyethylene, which is more conducive to the heat transfer between the pipe and the heating system, and has higher thermal efficiency.

Installation is faster as bending without rebound: with the characteristic

of easy bending and non-rebounding, laying coil in construction, pipe positioning and fixing are very easy, work efficiency can be greatly improved.

The coefficient of thermal expansion is small: the coefficient of expansion is 2.5 × 10⁻⁵ m/mK, to avoid large expansion or contraction caused by ground rupture or pipe system damage.

The safety of oxygen protection system: the aluminum tube in the layer can completely isolate the oxygen permeation, prevent the oxidative corrosion of the corrosion-prone components, and ensure the normal operation and service life of the system for a long time.

Smooth inner wall of pipe without scaling: streamlined design, low flow resistance, low flow noise, reduce scaling to avoid blockage.

Good heat resistance: Vicat softening point is 131.5 °C, the maximum working temperature up to 95 °C, fully meet the building water supply and drainage code in the use of hot water system requirements.

Don't damage on cold temperature: in winter -40 °C low temperature conditions can be normal construction, easy to bend without damage, melt and mechanical connection is convenient and simple.
