How to use the Vevor RV-386-B coffee maker?

Place the appliance on a flat surface, fill the water tank with cold water (max 1.8 L), add 90 to 105 g of ground coffee in a paper filter, then close the lid. Plug in the appliance and turn it on using the switch. The indicator light turns on and hot water flows into the carafe. The cycle stops automatically when the indicator light turns off.

What is the water tank capacity?

The water tank has a capacity of 1.8 liters. Do not exceed this amount to avoid overflow.

Can I use hot water in the tank?

No, use only cold and fresh water. Hot water could damage the appliance or cause burns.

How to clean the machine?

Always unplug the appliance and let it cool before cleaning. Clean the removable parts (funnel, carafe) with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners.

How to descale the machine?

Use a commercial descaler, lemon juice, or white vinegar. Mix 1/3 product with 2/3 water, pour into the tank, run a cycle until the solution partially flows out, then let it sit for 5 minutes. Complete the cycle and rinse with two cycles of clear water.

Operation

1. Before use, carefully check if the appliance is without damage. Contact your supplier if you find damage or a problem, and do not use the appliance.
2. Remove all packaging and protective material.
3. Place the appliance on a stable and level platform.
4. Leave sufficient space around the appliance for ventilation.
5. Place the paper filter on the funnel of the appliance.
6. Open the flip cover of the water reservoir.
7. Fill the carafe with cold water and then pour the water into the reservoir.

* Capacity of the water reservoir is 1.8 L. Please avoid it to be over 8. Close the cover and leave the appliance for 1 minute to let the out.

3. Switch the power ON, the "Indicator" will light up.
4. After a while, hot water starts dripping into the carafe.
5. When the "Indicator" light turns off, the brewing cycle is complete.

Maintenance

Cleaning

1. Before cleaning, always remember to switch off, unplug the appliance, and let it cool down completely.
2. You can clean the parts of the appliance, including the filter funnel, decanter, water tubes with mild detergent and by using a soft and damp cloth.
3. Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaners, or chlorinated cleaners on the appliance.
4. Dry the appliance before connecting it to a power socket.

Descaling

When the appliance has been using for a certain period of time, water scale will build up and accumulated on the heating element and the path of the water flow. You should clean up the water scale regularly to ensure the appliance can be operated at the optimum condition as well as to keep the

taste and flavor of the coffee.

Steps of descaling:

1. Use de-scaling agent, lemon juice or cleaning vinegar for descaling
2. If you use lemon juice or cleaning vinegar, please mix 1/3 of lemon juice or cleaning vinegar with 2/3 of water.
3. Put the filter funnel on the holder of the appliance.
4. Put an empty decanter under the filter funnel.
5. Pour the descaling agent or lemon juice solution or cleaning vinegar solution into the water reservoir.
6. Switch ON the appliance.
7. When the descaling agent or lemon juice solution or the cleaning vinegar solution starts to pass through the appliance, switch the appliance OFF.
8. Leave the appliance for about 5 minutes to let the descaling agent, lemon juice solution, or the cleaning vinegar solution dissolve the water scale in the appliance.
9. Switch ON the appliance again to release out the descaling agent, lemon juice solution, or the cleaning vinegar solution.
10. After all the descaling agent or lemon juice solution or cleaning vinegar solution has been released out, switch OFF the appliance again.
11. Put clean water into the water reservoir and repeat the brewing procedures until there is no more odour and taste in the water.

Regular maintenance

1. To ensure the appliance can always be operating in the best state, clean the appliance and do descaling regularly.
2. How frequently to do maintenance depends on how heavily you use the appliance.
