How to install the Vevor BSK-T2-S3-G pre-filter?

Installation must be carried out by a professional. Close the main inlet valve, drain the water, then connect the filter respecting the direction of the arrow on the valve body. Use Teflon tape on the threads and tighten the nuts with a wrench. Finally, open the water and check for leaks.

What is the filtration precision of the BSK-T2-S3-G?

The filtration precision is 40 micrometers, which allows intercepting sediments, granules, rust and larger impurities.

What water pressure is required for this pre-filter?

The admissible water pressure is between 0.15 MPa and 1 MPa. Too low or too high pressure could damage the device.

Can this filter be used with hot water?

No, the water temperature must be between 5 °C and 38 °C. Do not use hot water or corrosive liquids.

How to maintain the pre-filter?

It is recommended to clean the filter mesh at least once a month. For a full rinse, turn the ball drain valve and the black scrubbing knob. Perform a 30-second rinse 3 times per month.

How to clean the filter mesh in depth?

If scrubbing and rinsing are not enough, disassemble the filter bottle using the provided wrench, remove the mesh and clean it gently. Make sure to reassemble components correctly, inserting the grids into the grooves.

What accessories are provided with the pre-filter?

Can I install it outdoors?

No, the pre-filter must be installed only indoors, in a dry environment and away from UV, heat sources, fuels and chemicals.

The product is designed for municipal tap water. For well water, check that it does not contain corrosive materials or too fine particles. A preliminary analysis is recommended.

The Whole House Pre-filter is mainly used to intercept contaminants s as granules, impurities, sediment, rust, floating objects and so on. And can also provide positive protection for the downstream pipeline, water purifier, water heater, wall hung gas boiler, washing machine, shower other terminal water equipment.

USER MANUAL

1. After installation, open the main inlet valve and flush it.

Dismantle and Wash the Filtering Components

Remove the filter mesh from inside the bottle and softly clean off the dirt embedded (No need to take out the scraping component when washing the filter mesh)

Install the Scraper and Mesh

When the scraping components are installed into the filter bottle, plea make sure the quadrilateral holes with round corner in the scraping components are fitted with the quadrilater column on the water discharge copper parts at the bottom of the filter bottle, and the holes are inserted to the end of the column.

When the filter bottle components are installed, pay attention to insert th four bumps in the inner filter component of the scraping component to th four grooves in the filter bottle, and insert them t the end of the grooves.
