Frequently Asked Questions - MD200E-P Vevor

How to assemble the MD200E-P electronic drum set?
Follow the installation guide in the manual: first check all parts, assemble the metal stand (max width 1.2 m), install toms and cymbals on corresponding arms, tightening screws but not overtightening cymbals (they need to swing). Insert the drum module into the frame until it clicks, then connect trigger cables according to labels.
How to adjust drum sensitivity?
Press KIT then SELECT. Hit the drum to adjust, then use +/- buttons to select parameter: S (sensitivity 01-06), t (threshold 01-32), c (crosstalk 01-32), r (repeat 01-32). Turn the dial to change, then long press - to save (display 'SAV').
How to use the built-in metronome?
Press METRONOME to enter metronome mode. Turn the dial or use +/- to adjust speed (default BPM 120). Press CLICK to start/stop. In metronome mode, press SELECT to adjust beat type (r: 2/4/8/16), time number (b: 01-09), and volume (L: 00-31).
How to record a playing sequence?
In KIT or CLICK mode, press REC: screen flashes 'REC'. Hit a drum to start recording (screen flashes '-'). Press REC or PLAY again to stop: A-1 displays. Press to hear the sequence. To re-record, enter recording preparation again without hitting; the previous track is played.
Can I connect the drum set to a computer or smartphone?
Yes, via the USB-MIDI port (USB-B cable not included). The module can interact with music software (DAW) for learning or composition. For audio output, connect your device's audio output to the drum set's AUX IN input to synchronize sounds.
What to do if a drum produces no sound?
First check trigger cable connections in the sound module (they must be fully inserted). For the bass drum, ensure the switch is in position A (mechanical mode) or B (pedal mode) depending on the pedal type. If the problem persists, reset parameters by long pressing + until display shows 'RES'.
How to clean and maintain the drum set?
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or mild detergent. Never use paint, thinner, or harsh chemicals. Avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat (air conditioner), and humidity. When moving, handle with care to avoid impacts.
Is there a risk of interference with other devices?
Yes, this product may cause interference with radio, TV, routers, refrigerators, or motors. If parasitic noise occurs, move the drum set away from these sources. The product complies with FCC Part 15, but must accept any interference received.
How to reset to factory settings?
In drum settings mode (press KIT then SELECT), long press the + button until the display shows 'RES'. This restores factory settings for all drums.
Can I add an extra cymbal?
Yes, the module has an extension port AUX IN (or 'AUGMENTER' port on the diagram) that allows adding an extra cymbal (not included). Simply plug it into this port.
