The post is designed for use with standard metal cables. However, it is recommended to use a compatible cable railing kit. The product does not include cables or fittings.

What type of floor is needed for installation?

Installation can be done on concrete or wood floor. Use a hammer drill to make a 12 mm hole and insert the provided anchor screws.

Can the post be installed on an existing handrail?

Yes, the post is compatible with wooden handrails. Attach the bracket to the handrail using the provided self-tapping screws.

Is the post resistant to seawater?

The post is made of stainless steel, which gives it good rust resistance. However, it is not recommended for coastal projects due to the corrosive effect of salt.

What spacing between cables is recommended?

The recommended spacing between cables is less than 5 mm from the nosing of the step. Adjust the post position to maintain this distance.

This product is mainly used for column installation of wire functions and decorative accessories.

INSTALLATION

For concrete or wood floor

Step 1. Mark the drilling points at the appropriate installation locations.

Step 2: Use a hammer drill to make a hole for the marked points.

Step 3: Hammer the anchor screw into the drilled hole.

Step 4: Tighten the screws.

Step 5: Close the lid and finish fixing the post.

Note: Ensure that the column is upright when fixing the bottom of the post.

Mount with handrail (horizontal)

Step 1: Fixed bracket.

Step 2: Determine the installation position of the handrail, and then mark the position under the handrail and bracket holes, then drill holes.

★If the installation is a wooden handrail, you can directly screw tapping screws.

Step 3: Use the self-tapping screws in the accessory to fix the handrail to the support.

It is also suitable for the installation of arc handrails and brackets.

Mount with handrail (gradient)

Step 1: Fixed bracket.

Step 2: Adjust the angle of the bracket to fit the underside of the handrail. Determine the installation position of the handrail, and then mark the position under the handrail and bracket holes, then drill holes.

★If the installation is a wooden handrail, you can directly screw tapping screws.

Note: The handrail and bracket can be pre-fixed with the help of clamping tools, so that multiple bracket installation points can be marked and positioned at the same time.

Step 3: Remove the bracket from the post and then use the self-tapping screws in the accessory to fix the bracket to the handrail. Fix the post and bracket again.

Caution: When installing the posts, adjust the position of the posts on the step's tread, so that the wire is close to the position of the and it is generally recommended that the spacing is less than 5m. As shown below.
